Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the typical 1.33:1 ratio full frame color that is the standard for porn. Some of it was too dark and there was a resulting grain to many shots but the video noise wasn't bad. The fleshtones were decent and the compression artifacts were minimal. The audio was presented in 2.0 stereo English but there wasn't much, if any, separation between the channels. The vocals were too low in many cases and the impression I got was that the audio guy was asleep at the wheel.

Body of Review: Python Pictures has provided some decent releases in recent months, with XXX Rated and Perverted POV being but two examples of why they are successful in the porn industry. Their latest release, Twisted, follows a formula of providing somewhat kinky looking, or acting, gals having sex scenes with men of questionable character. If you've seen releases by the company in the past, you'll know what to expect and here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast for those looking for a movie without acting or any of the fancy stuff you get elsewhere:

Scene One: Soma, a lean Latino gal with a disturbing look to her, took care of Brett on a bed after masturbating a bit. He licked her ass a bit and she blew him in return, with some force-feeding action taking place. He then started banging her fairly hard in no time at all, something she seemed to enjoy. She became very vocal in asking for him to fuck her, something many fans appreciate, and after an energetic scene, he popped in her face.

Scene Two: Sara, looking like the lead singer to Swedish pop band Roxette, crawled around the floor to sneak up on Alex. She then grabbed his penis and spent a bit of time on it, making sure he was good and hard for playtime. He gave her some less energetic oral in return and in no time at all, they were screwing in a bunch of positions. I thought Sara had retired but the box cover says she came back to do this one last scene, and she did a little bit of anal as well. The scene ended when he popped his load upon her face.

Scene Three: Kayla, a lean brunette and a dominating attitude, took charge of Meat while she wore a fetish outfit. He was made to perform a lot of oral on her and she reciprocated by blowing him, just in time to get him hard enough to start hammering her pussy. She then pulled out some anal beads and he shoved them in before taking them out to feed to her mouth. She eagerly accepted them and then he started boning her ass. I didn't like how I could hear them getting directions at the beginning of the sex (it sounded like Jimmy D, which wouldn't make a lot of sense given his stance on ATM action but I know his voice). Otherwise, it was a solid scene that ended with a pop shot to her mouth.

Scene Four: Jacquelin, an Asian gal with a small body, started off by masturbating for the camera outdoors by the pool. She used a large red plastic toy to warm up before jumping in the hot tub to wait for Tony. He came in and started making out with her, after which she gave him a decent hummer. He returned the favor a little bit and then they screwed for a couple minutes before he popped his load onto her face. This was the weakest scene by far.

Scene Five: Cytherea, known far and wide as the pissing queen (sorry, I meant to say squirting queen), and the lead on the front DVD cover, masturbated in bed before she was joined by Johnny. She undid his pants and blew him for a moment, until they swapped positions and he went down on her. They boned in several positions with a bit of energy and chemistry after which she took his load into her mouth. She finished by swallowing the load, much like Sara did in her scene.

Summary: I think Jimmy D was the "real" director here, after listening to him bark orders in one scene and seeing his pretty mug in the Behind the Scenes feature. I'm rating this one as a Rent It for anyone other than major fans of the cast because the technical limitations and fact that the cast really wasn't at their best. Don't get me wrong,, there was a lot to like about Twisted, just not enough to pull it ahead of the pack.
