Extra's: There were three bonus scenes from other Dasha releases, each of them pretty solid. The next best extra was the 14-minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Victoria Woodhill for the movie. While it didn't look as good as it could have, I'm of the mind that the picture quality of the sex scenes is the important thing. There was also a couple of photogalleries, a mini-biography for Dasha, some trailers, a position room and a double-sided DVD cover to go with the spam.

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, as expected. The picture had too much grain and some poor lighting but it wasn't as bad as some other recent releases by Vivid. The video noise that accompanied the movie proved a distraction in several spots but I like the cast so it wasn't the end of the road for me. There were no compression artifacts noticed, nor was there any mosquito noise, but the overall quality of the picture varied a bunch. One of the cameras looked like a video and the other looked like film although I think the inconsistency had to do with the processing but it was jarring when it took place. The audio was presented in the usual 2.0 stereo English but like most such releases, the dynamic range was minimal and the separation between the channels negligible.

Body of Review: Vivid's stable of contract performers have long been a point of contention among fans in the industry. By tying up a host of cuties, other companies aren't allowed to use them and the general feeling is that Vivid is too soft core in terms of what they show. My own opinion is that screwing and blowjobs make for hardcore by virtually any reasonable assessment of their releases, and I've seen anal, rimming (female to male), and even kinkier actions taking place in the company's releases so those who prefer circus act sex might want to consider their arrogance before spouting off in public. The company's latest release, That Girl Is Crazy, focuses on former contract star Dasha as she has sex with a host of other industry performers. There was a little bit of story but most of the action was barely related to it and if you like Dasha, read the following breakdown of the scenes:

Scene One: Dasha, the blonde on the front DVD cover, and Mario, a guy that looks very much like a young Rocco Siffredi, had a scene in a bakery. He initially fingered her and ogled her body before she gave him a swell blowjob, making sure to lick his balls and give lots of eye contact. The couple then started to screw in a couple of positions, with doggy looking best. Some of her moans seemed a bit overstated but I thought she had fun, right up to the part where she jerked him off all over her breasts.

Scene Two: Aria, the sexually talented gal with the lock of light hair to distinguish her from others, took on the massive Lee in a mechanic's garage. He went down on her pussy and ass, only to hear her scream in pleasure as she jerked herself off. They then kissed before she dove after his massive meat-missile (sorry, insider joke) with energy and flair. They rode each other hard and wet, ending with a big facial to please the fans. There almost always seems to be chemistry when this gal is in a scene, whew!

Scene Three: Wendy, a gal that has developed a lot of fans over the years, regardless of her hair color (I've always liked her as a blonde, just as she was here, though), Dasha, and a guy had a scene on a bed during the daytime. The three moved about but Wendy got most of the attention orally from the other two. She had a lot of fun with the role, continually smiling and moaning her pleasure out loud. Both gals gave him some oral relief in order to get him hard enough for the inevitable boning that took place. It ended with the usual pop shot but was pretty warm throughout. I was curious as to why the guy wasn't credited anywhere on the box or in the credits but I've seen him in a couple movies before (a mystery).

Scene Four: Lana, a perky little blonde wearing a hot stripper costume, took care of bank guard Mickey at his post. Speaking of posts, she engulfed his to the bone as she attended to his modest erection. Being a gentleman, he spent even more time on her than she did on him, making her yell out in pleasure. They screwed in several positions and it ended with him rubbing out a load onto her ample chest. There was some potential here that went untapped but in all, it wasn't a bad scene.

Scene Five: Dasha, wearing tight jeans and a bikini top, gave video store clerk Eric a bit of the action he wanted in the video store. Her oral to him was energetic and filled with chemistry, just as his oral to her seemed to be. When they boned, she kept talking about how she wanted him to do it, something most guys seem to like, as well as moving her hips to meet his. It ended when he dumped his load onto her chest in this decent scene.

Summary: That Girl Is Crazy was not the finest work released by Vivid or director Paul Thomas but it certainly had enough good sex to warrant a rating of Recommended. If you enjoy the cast and like seeing decent extras in your DVD releases, check it out. If you prefer flavor of the month performers or can't live without seeing bareback sex, pass it up though as the company prefers to take the stance that the health of the performers is more important than the whims of a handful of complainers.
