Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the same old 1.33:1 ratio full frame color that most porn is made in these days. Thankfully, it looked very sharp with only minimal grain in most cases. This is a point of contention that some companies have; they suggest to me that you can't get a super clear picture without compromising other aspects of the DVD. To them I say HAH! There were no compression artifacts or mosquito noise and the pattern noise caused by the fishnets was not a problem. The colors were slightly too saturated but compared to a lot of other recent releases, this looked splendid. Julian may be the listed director but the movie was almost certainly under the control of someone with more experience, given the angles and clarity, I'd bet on Brandon Irons this time. The audio was presented in stereo English but had no separation between the channels and little dynamic range, yet it sounded clear too.

Body of Review: Platinum X Pictures is sort of an offshoot of Red Light District, although it has it's own flavor in terms of the porn it produces. The company has been looking for a market niche to call it's own since the inception of the company and hopefully, it will lock in a secure place in order to keep making fans happy. The latest release by the company, Lipstick N Lingerie, is one example of why I'm pulling for it to stay in business. The movie has really attractive and sexually talented women having hardcore sex with a group of willing and able studs. These gals wear some hot lingerie, tease the camera (and therefore viewer) a bit, and then the action begins. There isn't any dialogue or plot, just the type of sex so many fans want to see. Scene One: Rita, the once shining crown jewel in the Private Pictures contract stable, is now on her own as an independent contractor and appearing in a host of movies like this one. The technical values were top notch and the extras pretty solid too. If Platinum X Pictures can continue making movies like this, they'll be around long after some of their competitors close shop.
