Extra's: The best extra here was the 15.5 extra minutes of bonus footage where director David Luger gets some head from Christie. Her talent is virtually the worst of the flick although I'm sure David didn't mind giving her some practice. The next best extra was the seven minutes of Behind the Scenes footage. Most of the time, it was just the cast messing around but it was a fun show. There was also a photogallery and a double-sided DVD cover.

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot. It looked a bit weaker than average for a Red Light District release as there was too much grain and some video noise. Overall though, it was still better than 80% of all gonzo on the market and the action almost always enough to keep my mind off the problems. The audio was similar to most Red Light District releases; it showed up as 2.0 stereo on my receiver but had little, if any, separation between the channels and not much dynamic range.

Body of Review: One of the bigger niches in the porn market today is that of the young performer. Consumers have made it a point to demand performers as young as they can legally request (18 years old) and the companies have responded with a plethora of options for them. Red Light district's entry into this so-called "youth race" has been one of the longest running series in it's existence, with the latest volume being Just Over Eighteen 9. Like Volume 8, it provided a number of women that looked to be fairly young and sexually talented. If you're looking for a gonzo release without the story, without the older gals, and without the high price too many competitors charge, read the following breakdown of the scenes by cast:

Scene One: Ryan, the blonde on the front DVD cover, claimed to be 19 years old and in her 4th scene in the industry. She started off with director David by giving a blowjob and some straight sex. It was initially a pretty weak scene, and a good reason for keeping him behind the camera (sorry David, controlling the camera is your forte in life, not the sex). Brett took over when he entered the scene and shoved his much larger penis in the gal's pussy, filling her up quite nicely. There was some spanking action (no, not me on the couch) and she took a facial at the end, wiping it all around her face as requested.

Scene Two: Brittany, a bleach blonde with natural 34D breasts and some nice DSL's (dick sucking lips), had a couple extra pounds to her and a girl next door face. She took on Michael and Darren in an energetic scene with a fair amount of chemistry. This was also the longest scene, clocking in at nearly 45 minutes. They did oral, got some gagging blowjobs, and then straight sex before the inevitable anal with DP and all the trimmings. She tasted herself off their dicks, took DPP, DAP and massive loads to her face (double anything is tough but both pussy and anal?!? Yikes!). For fans, she even swallowed some semen.

Scene Three: Laurel, a gal that was 18 years old and five months, had a great body. She wore a white top and red skirt with nice sized breasts. She was assigned Tony and Brett, the new guy and the established professional (in that order) for her scene and took them on with some amount of gusto. Tony's a bit rough around the edges but Brett more than made up for him in this scene. She did some good oral, straight, anal and a DP (although short) before swallowing both of their loads in her mouth. This was a really short scene but she looked new and maybe in time, will get more screen time.

Scene Four: Veronica, a lean but exotic looking gal with interesting teeth, had a scene with good old TT. He acted like he was on Prozac or something since his energy level was probably a third what it had been in the last scene I saw him in but it worked out well since he acted human this time. She blew him, giving it nice long stroked with her mouth and he kissed her while he fingered her for lubrication. After feeding her some of her own juices, he started pumping her pussy for all it was worth and spanked her. I thought he might be coming out of his coma at this point but he backed down fairly quickly. Even in the anal action he took it easier than I've known him to do in years. Personally, I liked the change and I think she appreciated it too. She tasted herself off his penis at the end and took a big load to her face but she only swallowed part of it.

Scene Five: Gwen, a gal that looked a lot like Haven with stronger legs, claimed to be in college but fairly inexperienced in terms of numbers of men. She was a teenager and took care of both Jon and Scott on the couch. Her sexual ability was limited but Jon seemed to be calling the shots here for good reason. She wasn't terrible, just lame compared to some of the other gals here. I'd advise her to get more experience and stage a comeback if she wants to make it in porn. She also needed a trim on her hairy pussy but at least she didn't dodge the come shots at the end and seemed to swallow them.

Scene Six: Christie, an eighteen year old gal that has done two scenes before this one according to her interview. She had a nice rack but her face wasn't exactly appealing to me but she wasn't really homely, if you catch my drift. Erik was her partner and she seemed to just hang on for the ride since he was a whirlwind of energy. Maybe he just drank a couple coffees or perhaps he was hyped up from something else but he slammed his dick in her at full speed and she couldn't really keep up. He spanked her, made her taste her own juices, and gave her a big facial at the end. I liked the scene in spite of her limitations and that speaks volumes for this scene.

Summary: Just Over Eighteen 9 is not the perfect porn DVD for those who enjoy younger gals but it was well worth your time and money. I'm rating it as Recommended for its cast, their abilities, and the various extras the DVD had. I think a few of the rough edges this one had might actually appeal to some of you so check it out and make up your own mind.
