Audio/Video:

The video is presented in full frame color. The quality lives up to the standards set by Vivid, not extremely good. The picture is troubled with a grain and lacks sharpness. There are also issues with lighting, with the scenes generally poorly lit. The audio is presented in 2-channel stereo. It's not extremely impressive either, as it has a slight hiss in the audio track. Overall, not the best quality, but better than some. Fortunately, for the most part, the technical issues of quality will not ruin viewing pleasure.

Body of Review:

Most single people know how much dating can suck. How difficult is it for someone to find Mr. or Ms. Right? While you search and search, you never seem to find them. In Kira's case, while she's been looking for Mr. Right, she should've been looking for Ms. Right. This doesn't apply to most of us, but for porn, it works out fairly decent. This feature isn't the absolute best on the market, but it has its good and bad moments. While the title Jackie and Jill comes from the story of Jack and Jill, it doesn't really. There's no hill or pail of water. Anyways, this is not the kid story that some may expect, but a tale about sex, lust, and love. Here's the scene by scene.

Scene 1: Julie Robbins

Julie is an attractive brunette with a pretty good looking body. We find Julie with some guy out by the pool. This isn't a full scene, it's more of a tease. Still, it's probably the hottest bit of action in this feature. It's pretty straightforward and looks decent. I was a bit disappointed with the camera being focused on her ass for what seemed like the entire time. Overall, this was a very disappointing scene.

Concluding Words:

While I'm a huge fan of Kira Kener, I pretty much will only watch adult features that she is in. I prefer to see all-sex titles that skip the mindless dribble and seemingly pointless stories. In the case of Jackie and Jill, like many other adult films, it was not an original story. While it won't win any awards, it was a decent story. In terms of the actual content of this feature, I was a bit disappointed. Each scene seemed really short. The action seemed to be well over before it even started! Some of these scenes were a real disappointment, because the girls did not get a chance to really "expose" themselves. Another big disappointment was with Kira's scenes. In most of her past work, she has had some pretty hot scenes. In this feature, the heat seems to not exist. This was partly due to the short scenes and the fact that the scenes weren't that hot. Fans of Kira will be slightly disappointed. Fortunately, Lezley Zen had a pretty damn good scene. This one scene (with a decent storyline) makes this a decent rental. Couples and fans of the feature side of porn will definitely want to check this out. However, if you prefer the nastier side of life, Down the Hatch #12 or No Swallowing Allowed, you better skip this one.
