Extra's: There were two discs worth of material, and most of the bonus stuff this time was additional sex scenes. There was also a new interview with Kate More that was recorded 10/18/2003 that was a 7 minute long compilation of quick comments taken at the same time as the clips shown between the scenes. There was also a bunch of trailers of her movies, well over a hundred pictures from her scenes, a double sided DVD cover, a quiz where getting the right answers rewards you with a striptease and then another scene, as well as scene details and production notes (along with lots of sound track choices).

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color with the interview sequences shot in non-anamorphic widescreen, all as originally shot. There was grain in many of these older scenes and some video noise as well as a lot of stylish effects such as slow motion in too many of the scenes. If you enjoy seeing a major hotty from Private's movies of years gone by though, you'll be forgiving since many of the scenes looked well done. The audio was presented with the same choice of stereo English or other languages, often enough dubbed in a distracting manner. The music was pleasant in most cases and the limitations of the audio were never so bad as to hold my attention long.

Body of Review: One of the better compilation series in porn today comes from Private Pictures, a company known for high end production values and very attractive contract stars, as well as solid entertainment value. In their Private Life series I have watched Jodie Moore, Rita Faltoyano and even Michelle Wild, in some of their best work for a really low price. The two-disc sets have impressed some of my associates and I to the point where we sometimes fight over who gets to review the newest releases. Luckily, I snagged the latest volume of the series, The Private Life Of Kate More, the 16th volume of the long-lived series. I've always thought Kate was a hot looking gal that lacked some of the heat her counterparts had but if you're a fan of hers that doesn't have the releases this compilation was derived from, check out this basic primer to the double disc set:

Scene One: Amanda's Diary 1: D-John Millerman: 6/1998: Kate, Monic, and Ursula, all three attractive brunettes, with Andrew and Joe, had a scene in a park on a blanket. The sex included oral, straight, and a bit of anal with a single DP (and a touch of lesbian action). It wasn't the type of scene Private is known for but it was warmish for couples. I just hated the dubbing that was used for it. The Amanda Diary series was designed for couples and not Private's usual hardcore kink.

Scene Two: Hells Belles: D-Frank Thring: 8/1998: Kate and Laura, both dressed in fetish attire, controlled George on a bed. The lighting was off but fans of vinyl outfits will appreciate these two cuties showing him a good time. The sex looked posed more often than not but included some anal and PTM (pussy to mouth) for those who care. I'd have liked it more if they had really had a full fetish scene but this release from the Pirate line rarely did that type of thing (all style and little substance). In the interview, Kate claimed that she liked this one and that she currently works as a professional dominatrix.

Scene Three: Call Girl: D-Antonio Adamo: 10/1999: Kate and David had a scene in a limousine. It was far too short in length and lacked much heat since the style over substance issue came up again. The whole scene lasted about five minutes and looked washed out.

Scene Four: Call Girl: D-Antonio Adamo: 10/1999: Kate, the lead, Silvia, the hot blonde that retired years ago, and David, had another scene from Call Girl. Suffice it to say, the gals looked great but the stylish camera effects weakened their scene a lot. I loved their lingerie nearly as much as I hated the slow motion photography used to show it. The action was similar to the last scene with both gals taking anal here. The scene did remind me how much I missed Silvia Saint though.

Scene Five: Fashion: D-Antonio Adamo: 12/1999: Kate, Sophie, and Franco had a scene in a swimming pool. The gals looked great, nearly a given in one of Adamo's movies for Private, but the slow motion photography and lack of anything but mechanical grinding made this one a bit weak. Fans of seeing a huge penis plunge into cute gals will probably like it more than most though, especially for the anal antics that took place.

Scene Six: Fashion: D-Antonio Adamo: 12/1999: Kate and Mercedes took on Frank and Leslie as an old dude watched them in a dark room (I think it was Adamo himself). It started off as a lesbian scene, complete with sensual music and lighting, and soon enough, the gals split off to work one guy each (initially). There was plenty of oral and straight with loads of anal but it wasn't much better than the other scenes. The gals looked good but lacked the heart I prefer to see in my sex scenes.

Disc Two

Bonus Scene 1: Room Number One: D-Juan Carlos Jesus Villalobos: 10/18/2003: Kate, in something of a return to the business, and blonde newcomer Lolo, had a very stylish lesbian scene together in a dark room. The scene was erotic in nature and while I disliked the stylish elements of the scene since they were akin to something off a late night pay cable show for Cinemax, it was a lot better looking than some of Adamo's scenes shown on disc one.

Scene One: Amanda's Diary 1: D-John Millerman: 6/1998: Kate, started off by masturbating with her hand and a mirror but was soon joined by Nicol and Nick in a phone sex scene.

Scene Two: Triple X Files 12: D-Frank Thring: 8/1998: Kate, Fovea, and Kevin had a scene outdoors after a bit of a food fight.

Scene Three: Amanda's Diary 2: D-John Millerman: 6/1998: Kate, Katy, Monic, Ursula, Joe, John, and Nick, had an orgy on a porch. It was much like every other scene here with an attractive cast and a multitude of sexual positions.

Scene Four: Private XXX 3: D-John Millerman: 6/1998: Kate, Katalin, and Nick had a scene that started off in a car but moved to a wilderness location in no time.

Scene Five: Amanda's Diary 2: D-John Millerman: 6/1998: Kate, Katy, Monic, Ursula, Andrew, and Nick had a scene that started off as a lesbian scene in a bridal shop but expanded to include the guys near the end.

Scene Six: Amanda's Diary 1: D-John Millerman: 6/1998: Kate and Nicol had a lesbian scene on a dorm room bed. It was kind of a generic scene but they did work well together.

Scene Seven: Private XXX 1: D-Frank Thring: 8/1998: Kate, Fovea, TJ, George, and Kevin, had an orgy scene together with the gals wearing vinyl outfits and using sex toys to impress the guys. Yum!

Scene Eight: Amanda's Diary 1: D-John Millerman: 6/1998: Kate, Mary, and Joe had a stylish fantasy scene at night in a bed. It was kind of weak but okay to watch once.

Quiz Scene: Amanda's Diary 1: D-John Millerman: 6/1998: Kate, the brunette lead, Nicol, a hot redhead, and Leslie, the hairy hunk, had a scene in a hotel room. There was oral, straight and anal here, as expected. It wasn't a great scene but it wasn't bad either.

Summary: Like Jodie Moore's, Rita Faltoyano's or Michelle Wild's volume, this one will appeal not only to fans but any consumer that appreciates poetry in motion. Admittedly, the sex this time was far weaker, forcing me to rate it as a Rent It, but with so much footage and so many extras, it's hard to deny that this will be a good choice to look for in local shops or online. If you're a fan, it will easily be her best release to date but keep the limitations in mind if you're looking to buy.
