Extra's: The only extras this time were the same old 4 minute interview with Clive McLean and a cast list. There was also some spam but most people don't count that as a "good" extra. Sadly, the box cover advertised several extras that were not present on the DVD, something consumers should beware of.

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, as the scenes were originally shot. Like most compilations, the quality of the scenes varied a great deal. While none of the scenes was unwatchable, a few were desperately in need of fixing up, particularly the older ones. They had a lot of grain and video noise, with some lighting issues to boot. The audio was presented in stereo English but the vocals were just as varied as the video and the music ranged from lame to okay.

Body of Review: The Hustler Barely Legal series has been around for a long time, showcasing a number of young porn performers over the years. Like their counterparts at Vivid Video, Hustler has started seeing the ease with which they can take older scenes and sell them in compilation form, providing no new footage to slow things down. If you're a fan of the concept and haven't seen the previous releases, this is one way to catch up on some decent scenes and not pay a fortune. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast:

Scene One: Barely Legal 23: Oh So Sweet: Monica, one of the cutest gals in porn these days, had a scene with Pat by a fireplace after she teased him from outside. As sweet as she's gotten with age, she was a little cutie back when this was filmed. It started off with her sitting on his face, letting him eat her through her cotton panties. She took his member in her mouth too, showing a glimpse of her future talent. They boned in several positions and she even took anal back then, making this a good scene to enjoy. It ended with a pop shot to her mouth, as expected.

Scene Two: Barely Legal In The City: Nikita, Jade, Ember, and Billy had a scene in a fancy living room. It started off as a lesbian scene with Nikita as the focus and the heat was enough that the others joined in soon after. Billy was the last to join in but he got to bone Nikita so it was worth the wait for both him and the audience. This was actually one of her tamer scenes but it was still fun to watch.

Scene Three: Barely Legal 1: Bunny, a healthy looking breeder with a lean body and nice breasts showered while being watched by creepy Herschel. She caught him so she took the aggressor's role and forced him to submit to her will, initially by blowing him and then by fucking him with some PTM action. They boned in several more positions before an all-natural Allysin joined them in the bed, something that made old man Herschel a happy camper. Scene Four: Barely Legal 21: Slumber Party Sluts: Avy, Aimee, and Nikki all had a slumber party on a bed after discussing watching porno together. The three soon were eating each other out and massaging their bodies as they got off to the show. It was slow and the chanting soundtrack would've been better if dropped but I liked it nonetheless. Fans of strap on dildos and toys will appreciate the many toys used for much of the scene, even if they moans and groans seemed faked.

Scene Five: Barely Legal 2: Cheyenne, back when she was fairly new to porn (the scene was shot almost five years ago), and Kyle, had a scene after he drove her home from babysitting his kids. They pulled over in a deserted area and he went down on her like nobody's business. He screwed her in several positions, getting faster as the scene progressed, and she finished him off with a clumsy blowjob and handjob.

Scene Six: Barely Legal 18: Video Virgin: Tawny, a hot blonde with very lean limbs, and her real life husband Rickey, had a scene in a darkened room. She started off as if it were a masturbation video, slowly stripping off her clothes, and then diddling herself in the way too dark room. Scene Seven: Barely Legal 11: Jake's Garage: Violet, before she attained her star performer status, reminded me of how looks challenged she was when entering the jizz bizz. Her scene took place in an auto mechanic's garage with Raphael (AKA: Rafe) when she walked in on him as he was jerking off. They did some oral and straight but this was probably the weakest scene of her I've seen in years.

Scene Eight: Barely Legal Summer Camp: Ashley, looking ready for action, led both Benjamin and Talon to an Indian teepee in order to get some privacy for her sex life. They tasted her and she tasted right back, deep throating them with no problems to speak of. They screwed, even anally, in a few positions and closed it out with a DP and two pop shots to her face.

Summary: I did like the majority of scenes enough to rate this one as a Rent It but the false advertising on the DVD case for extras such as a Behind the Scenes feature, a "Where are they now" feature, and the missing director's commentary made me almost lower the rating in fairness. Rent it if you like the cast, just remember that most of them became much more sexually talented as they grew older, something fans might want to remember.
