Extra's: The best extra was a 17 minute long Behind the Scenes feature from Young Girls' Fantasies #1. In retrospect, it had a lot of interesting information about this up comer and fans should watch the whole thing. There was also the usual cast list, mini-biography, trailers, slide show and spam.

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, as expected. Most of the scenes were pretty good but some of the older ones in particular had a lot of lighting issues and grain as well as video noise. The director for most of the scenes was Clive McLean and he generally does a decent job but somewhere in the equation, the picture was impacted a few times. The audio was presented in the usual stereo English but again, the best scenes were only decent and the worst had droning audio tracks that gave me a headache.

Body of Review: Ashley Blue is one of the most popular performers in the jizz bizz at this time. Fresh off a best performer win from AVN, she has been in a contract with JM Productions, one of the more interesting companies in terms of smut production these days. Before she became popular, she worked a lot for Hustler, making a number of scenes under the young gal genre. In what appears to be a decent compilation of Ashley's works for Hustler, the company is taking a lesson from it's subsidiary Vivid, and releasing Into The Blue: The Best Of Ashley Blue, a collection of seven scenes of her earlier work. Scene One: Young Girls' Fantasies #1: D-Clive McLean: 2002: Ashley had a scene with Ben and Trent at the police station during a line up. There was the usual oral and straight but also anal with a DP. The sex itself was well done with some energy but the picture looked weak and that lowered the heat for me.

Scene Two: Young Latin Girls #6: D-Ray Anderson: 2003: Here's what I said when I first reviewed this scene: "Ashley, a young looking cutie with a tight and natural body, did both Valentino and Frank by an outdoor pool. In the Behind the scenes feature, it was mentioned that she was going to do double anal but it never worked out so you'll have to be satisfied with the oral, straight, and anal action with a double facial. It was a warm scene though."

Scene Three: Young Sluts, Inc. #8: D-Kat Slater: 2002: Ashley and Trent had a scene after she showered in front of him. At first, he was content to watch her but soon joined her in the open shower, lowering her to her knees to blow him. They took the action to an easy chair after that so he could go down on her and in no time he was plugging away at her pussy. She wasn't as energetic here as she has been since but it was an earlier scene so I cut her some slack.

Scene Four: Hot Showers #7: D-Clive McLean: 2002: Ashley and Ann had a lesbian scene in an outdoor shower stall as Ann soaped herself up. If any of you enjoy looking at super hairy pussies, this Ann gal has got you covered. I doubt my lawnmower could whack through those hairs without a couple of passes! The two frolicked and took the action to a blanket on the nearby ground in order to go down on one another and use some toys. It wasn't bad in most ways but Ann wasn't the cutest gal I've watched this week.

Scene Five: Barely Legal On Vacation #2: D-Clive McLean: 2003: Here's my original take on the scene, which I still agree with: "Ashley, Mark and Trent had the only anal scene here in what appeared to be a teepee set indoors. Energetic and fun to watch, the guys put her ample oral talents to work before moving onto to the rest of the action. It was a warm scene with anal and a DP for fans who like it."

Scene Six: Barely Legal Summer Camp: D-Clive McLean: 2003: My original comments (mostly) still stand: "Ashley, a girl next door looking gal with a lean body, started off by having some oral with Billy on a bed. The two did some 69 and were soon joined by Talon. Not long afterwards, the threesome was screwing in a variety of positions with her making lots of fake moaning sounds. There was lots of oral and straight sex with a bit of anal to top it off before the facials took place."

Scene Seven: Barely Legal #27: D-Clive McLean: 2002: Ashley and then boyfriend Trent had a scene together where they were looking to get their own place. The scenario was kind of goofy (I've yet to see a realtor walk away from a handful of money) but she was cute in her tight, white panties. The two made out on a couch before going down on one another and showing some chemistry. They then screwed in both the pussy and ass before the obligatory facial. It was a pretty warm scene and while I never thought he was all that great in porn, she showed some potential here that couldn't be denied.

Summary: Fans of Ashley Blue would be well served by getting this compilation so I'm rating it as Recommended for them and others that like attractive, young gals who do it all. The technical values weren't great and the extras kind of limited but the overall package was better than anything you'll see her making these days. If you get a chance, check this one out as it showcases the cutie in a way that might just make you a fan.
