Extra's: The best extra for virtually every fan will be the inclusion of five bonus scenes taken from earlier releases. Three of these scenes featured Cheyenne Silver and the other two weren't bad either. There was also a 6 minute long blooper reel, trailers, a mini-biography, a positions room, a couple of photogalleries, a double-sided DVD cover and some forced spam. For the most part, the extras weren't great but about what you'd expect from Vivid.

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, as expected. Vivid has long had some problems with providing a clear, grain-free picture due to various issues, usually centering on lighting problems. Thankfully, this one looked very good, especially for its age. While there was some grain and minimal video noise, it looked better than most of the company's recent releases (giving me hope for future releases). I didn't see any compression artifacts or moiré, making it easy on the eyes. The audio was presented in the usual 2.0 stereo English but the dynamic range was limited as was the separation between the channels. The vocals were clear though and the music inoffensive, so it was worth a listen as well as a look.

Body of Review: Vivid Entertainment has long provided couples with a wide variety of entertaining releases in their porn offerings. The company makes no false claims about providing the most extreme sex acts (often called "circus act sex") and focuses it's efforts on couples as well as people that are content with watching attractive performers have sex in a variety of situations. In short, this isn't the company to call on if you want to see some of the sexual Olympics you'll see elsewhere but it isn't a bad place for those new to porn to start looking. The company is known for sitting on movies, waiting for the best time to release them so as to keep from saturating a market that routinely sees 10,000 movies released a year and the latest such release from Vivid is a little feature by the name of Joyride, featuring (if you believe the company) the wonderfully attractive Cheyenne Silver, one of their former contract stars. The movie really didn't feature her (she was only in a single scene) but the sex was pretty good nonetheless and centered on some wayward youth out to have a good time. If this sounds like something you'd find enjoyable, read the following breakdown of the scenes by cast:

Scene One: Renee, a curvy blonde that has been in the jizz bizz for a long time, and Kyle, had a scene in the bedroom as they decided to get ready for an important function. They did oral on one another but barely enough to get excited with (admittedly, Renee is a champion cocksucker) before she rode him hard in reverse cowgirl position. They switched positions a few more times and it ended when he jerked off into her mouth. This was a decent scene as the two shared some chemistry.

Scene Two: Ginger, a brunette cutie and the actual lead of the movie (you wouldn't know it from the DVD cover though), had a short solo scene on a couch. I liked watching her play with herself but it ended too soon and that was a shame. For those who don't know what she looks like, you might want to check out mainstream star Teresa Strasser but think leaner).

Scene Three: Chloe, known as an anal queen as well as a former VCA contract star/director, was wearing a tiny dress as she and Michael warmed up in an alley. As impatient as ever, Chloe took him into her mouth as they waited for Ginger and Nick to come back with a stolen car. Her oral skills were beyond reproach and it's easy to see why she has won so many awards over the years for hot scenes. In any case, he took her from behind as she leaned against a brick wall in the alley and she vocally approved of his skills as he hammered away at her tight box. I was surprised that she didn't do anal here since that was her specialty at the time this was made but it was a decent scene as well.

Scene Four: Tara, a blonde that was curvy enough that most straight men would want her, had some lesbo-action with Renee in the kitchen. Tara was the aggressor here but Renee didn't seem to mind relinquishing control as they licked each other silly. It wasn't their hottest scene but it was good enough to watch more than once (I like lesbian scenes).

Scene Five: Cheyenne, the hotty on the front DVD cover, took care of Steve in the dark alley. Her oral skills weren't as solid as the others in the movie but it's tough to deny that her looks more than made up for it. She gave a pretty good blowjob before he spent a few moments licking her tasty treat, fingering her as needed to get her ready for the boning. They boned a little bit but it wasn't nearly as good as many of her other scenes and it ended when she jerked him off onto her natural chest (she looked pre-implant here).

Scene Six: Ginger, still looking very attractive to me, and Nick, had a scene in the darkened living room on the couch (maybe he smelled her scent from the earlier scene). They kissed and then he did some oral on her before giving it to her slow and smoothly. The tempo increased as the scene progressed and it was also pretty good for the type of scene it was supposed to be.

Summary: With such a short running time and little unique to prop it up, the best I feel comfortable giving this DVD is a Rent It. If Cheyenne had truly been the lead and in several scenes, or if the extras had been great, I could see overlooking the running time but even with a cast that I liked, it smacked of misleading advertising and I can't reward that type of thing, even from a company that does address a large portion of the market that appears to be increasingly forgotten. Give it a shot with a rental first and if you really like it, buy it.
