Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, the industry standard and looked a bit weaker than usual here. The lighting was oaky most of the time and that caused the show to look pretty good to fair, depending on the scene. The 2.0 stereo English audio was fairly clear with few problems. The DVD transfer was decent with few compression artifacts noticed when I watched it. To sum it up, the show had a few moments where it was out of focus and some camera angle problems but most of the time, it looked alright.

Body of Review: Hustler is known for giving fans what they want and has been since it pushed the boundaries of adult entertainment with it's magazine so many years ago. These days, DVD is the medium by which Mr. Flynt provides us with our fix of attractive young ladies and one of his premiere series' newest titles is Barely Legal 48: Younger! Wetter! Tighter! Better!. Like Volume 46, the release had some major cuties. The show provided 5 scenes of young women who have sex for your personal pleasure and each of them looked to be younger than average, if not eighteen years old. If you like them young and ready, here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast, noting that a lot of anal took place this time:

Scene One: Hook, Line And Sinker: Nautica, the little Asian cutie seen on the left middle of the front DVD cover, and Kurt, had a scene outdoors after they went fishing. She took a leak by the stream and the two hit it off so they took it inside for a scene on a bed. He had a snack attack on her crack and she snacked back while he checked out her rack. Her oral skills were solid and aside from some lighting issues, it was pretty good to start out the movie with. The two boned, with her giving some extra energy to the proceedings, and after a few positions, he dropped a load on her lovely face.

Scene Two: Cream Of Sumyoungguy: Lily, the lean Asian gal on the upper left side of the front DVD cover, and foreign Sascha, had a scene in a Chinese food restaurant. She was a bitchy cook and he was the waiter, with both of them wanting some action after closing the store. He went down on her a little and she returned the favor with an energetic blowjob before they got down to business. She also put a lot of effort into the action and the straight sex was warm because of it. The scene ended when he jerked off to her face.

Scene Three: Squeaky Clean: Isabel, an English gal with a few extra pounds, and hippy Mark, had a scene in her bathroom with him portraying a handyman. Neither did much oral in the bathroom and the scene was pretty tame in most ways but I'd have tapped her if given the chance myself. Oral and straight sex only marked this one and it was okay to see once.

Scene Four: Interrogation Frenchie: Melissa, the lead gal of the movie that was featured on the front DVD cover, and pretty boy Dale, had a scene where he worked for the INS and she was an illegal immigrant from France. She gave him a sloppy blowjob by a desk and he ate her out in return. Neither seemed very into the action until he started boning her pussy and ass. Now I'm sure he's seen a lot of ass action (probably giving and receiving) but the two seemed to hit it off here even though she couldn't take him all the way inside her ass. This was the best scene of the movie.

Scene Five: Two Sluts And A Plumber: Holly, the redhead on the lower part of the left side of the front DVD cover, Delilah, a very attractive blonde, and Alex, had a scene on a bed after the two gals showered together to tease him. The gals seemed to have a lot of fun orally pleasing him and while his skills weren't exactly great, he got the job done as he alternated between them with both oral and straight sex. I'd like to see more of the gals and less of him if you catch my drift since his load was tiny, he shot on Holly's stomach and seemed like his head was going to explode.

Summary: I think this volume was good enough for me to rate it as a Rent It but unlike better volumes like Volume 43, the heat factor wasn't all that great much of the time and the limited amount of extras and length to the feature made it have barely adequate fuck for the buck, a big factor for me in rating a DVD. The technical issues weren't the worst I've seen this month but the sex wasn't great either so check it out if you enjoy the cast only.
