Extra's: The best extra for me was the 10.5-minute long Behind the Scenes feature that showed much of the cast and crew at work. There was also the usual selection of trailers, cast biographies, production notes, photogalleries, and a double-sided DVD cover.

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in anamorphic widescreen with an aspect ratio of 1.85:1, not something you see in porn very often. Handled properly, anamorphic widescreen can enhance the picture quality quite a bit and that was certainly the case here. There was a touch of grain and occasional haloing but it looked very sharp most of the time with perfect skin tones. The audio was presented in the usual 2.0 Dolby Digital English with all the usual foreign language options for you to enjoy. With a picture of such high quality, can the audio be anything less than great? Sadly, the answer is that yes, it can be less than great. Much of the audio appeared to be dubbed and while the overbearing audio was a pain at times, I found turning down the volume worked wonders for my libido. Perhaps Private will offer a "no music" option like Anabolic does on some releases in the future or just have the performers moan and scream in real time like other companies do.

Body of Review: The Private Fetish series has long been a place to find circus act sex, leather and lace, and fetish attire of all sorts for your viewing pleasure. Whether it was Kovi or Frank Thring, both of whom have moved to other companies these days, the productions almost always looked sweet with hot women and hardcore sex to pleasure yourself to. The last volume I saw was Volume 11 and it was pretty solid in most ways but the latest volume in the series, Theatre Of Lust: Pirate Fetish Machine 14, just didn't do it for me. The story revolved around a bad guy that was sent to jail, only to be released later (I guess European jails are as full as ours). In any case, here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast, noting that the men were not credited very well and I only knew one of them:

Scene One: Julie, the hot blonde on the front DVD cover, started off the sex with an homage to Nazi Germany. Her partner was Gabriel, a guy wearing rubber underwear, mask, gloves and pantyhose. Admittedly, this made me laugh out loud for several moments, since I failed to see the attraction of the outfits but she was pretty hot looking and I'd have probably worn such a sissy-boy outfit too if I'd get laid by her. She blew him and took him in her pussy and ass, although it was strictly mechanical sex, just like your father probably bought from Europeans while serving in the military, but she did look good.

Scene Two: Jessica, an attractive gal with a lot of energy to spare, took care of Gabriel and Alberto on a stage with some red velvet couch behind her. After the oral, they started banging her pussy and ass, eventually giving her a DP as they verbally abused her. She mostly hung on for the ride here rather than participated as she did with the excellent oral she gave them and this scene also made me long for Kovi's brand of fetish that Private used to offer consumers.

Scene Three: Sandy, another bleached blonde from Private, jerked off Alberto as he licked and sucked her high heels on the floor. She gave him a quick blowjob before he took her ass and while she looked pretty hot here, her skills were nothing I'd have paid top dollar for in real life.

Scene Four: Rita, a tall brunette with a sweet looking ass, wore some fishnet stockings as she was brought over to a table to bend over. She serviced both Franco and Gabriel, orally, anally, and in a DP but the dubbed moans proved to weaken the sex. I'd like to see more of her but only if she learns to enjoy the sex more (regardless of what sex acts she performs for the camera).

Scene Five: Anette, a cute redhead, and blonde Sandy, had a lesbian scene in a classy hotel. I like seeing attractive gals do one another and they did appear to have some fun, making this scene a lot of fun to watch if you enjoy the chemistry between two gals (most real men like seeing hot gals go at one another). The oral was well done and the strap on dildo was cool to watch although they could've been a bit more into it at times.

Scene Six: Julie and Jessica, both looking like something out of an 80's music video, had a scene with Gabriel in a dark room. They were actually pretty wild here, using fingers, tongues and spanking to enhance the mood. They did oral, straight and anal with some ass tasting action by the gals. It wasn't the best fetish scene I've watched (in fact, there wasn't anything fetish about it) but I liked watching them have sex.

Summary: As a fetish movie, this one was sorely lacking but as a generic foreign-based porno, it was good enough to rate as a Rent It. The picture was way above average but the audio and lack of better extras combined with the lack of much fetish action to make this DVD something you need to see for yourself before accepting my rating as the gospel truth. I'm glad Private is working on improving their picture quality, now some sound work and better writing might be able to propel them past the hordes of other porn-producing companies on the market. I know they have the capability; they just need to polish the rough edges and do it.
