Extra's: The extras were pretty solid this time with the first being an 18 minute long Behind the Scenes feature. It focused mainly on the cast and their preparations but some of the crew snuck in as well. There was also a 6.5 minute long Photoshoot that had the cast posing for various pictures in stages of undress. Next on the list were 9.5 minutes of outtakes that started off with some circus act sex in the form of double anal (DAP) and some ATM (ass to mouth) and moved to other minor stuff in no time. Other than a photogallery, the only other extra was a neato 11 minute long Strip Show that had the gals teasing the camera with their slinky moves. Yum!

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, as expected. Aside from a few minor issues that popped up on a very irregular basis, the picture looked crisp and clear for me. The fleshtones were solid and any visual flaws were not noticed the first time I watched the movie (I got into watching the action: a fact that Red Light and Mr. Ferrara can be proud of since it's not every day that this happens to me). The audio was presented in the usual stereo English and while the separation wasn't anything to write about, the moans and groans were pretty crisp themselves.

Body of Review: Manuel Ferrara is one of those porn studs that has been working on bridging his career from performer to director in recent months. My comments in this regard have been generally quite favorable since he has proven time and again that all he needs is a little bit of polishing up of his lighting skills (and maybe editing skills) to become one of the better directors in the gonzo field. That said, I took a look at his latest release for Red Light District, Anal Expedition #3, and found it smoking hot with attractive, energetic gals that know what they're doing and like it as well. The four scenes were longer than most,. Allowing all the nastiest sex to take place without a clock ticking in the background. If this sounds like what you'd enjoy watching, here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast:

Scene One: Vanessa and Sandra, a couple of lean and attractive brunettes wearing fishnet body stockings were the first to be presented for our viewing pleasure. They were held on leashes and spanked as they were told to sniff out some cocks. They crawled about and found Dillion, Steve and George just waiting for them around the corner in the other room. Scene Two: Kathy, a blonde gal wearing a sheer body stocking (I prefer fishnets but this looked good too), asked for money when Manuel tried to play with her. I had to give credit for the honesty of the premise even if my fantasy is to find a gal that likes sex for the fun of it (I'm not holding my breath though). In a point of view fashion, she toyed with his cock and then gave him a great blowjob, proving she could inhale a penis like no one's business. Scene Three: Sarah, Sandy, and Melissa, were up next as Melissa was spanked for being a "bad girl". Scene Four: Elen and Liliane were up next. The gals were working a massage parlor with David and Manuel as the customers willing to pay whatever it took to get serviced. Elen was a blonde that wore a white hooker outfit and Liliane was a brunette with light highlights in her hair wearing a fishnet body stocking. There was more of a set up in this scene than the others and I think it worked for the most part although I thought the other scenes were okay too. Fans of foot sucking and ATM will also be happy with this scene as it appeared that everything that could be sucked, was sucked and sucked hard at that.

Summary: Anal Expedition 3 is worth a rating of Highly Recommended due to the great cast, the hot sex, and the willingness by all involved to give 110% of everything they had to make it a winner. The technical values were really well done and the extras added some replay value to make this one a stroke flick on par with anything else in the gonzo field, bar none. That the cast also appeared to have a lot of fun might not be mentioned in future reviews but it was an integral part of what made this release a success. Hopefully, Mr. Ferrrara continues to improve his craft, proving that so-called meat puppets can make great movies too.
