Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, as most porn is shot these days. The general picture quality was somewhat weak with grain and video noise always present in minimal quantities but lighting a bigger issue than anything else. The focus was also somewhat less sharp than other companies provide but it wasn't the worst John Bone movie I've seen lately. The audio was presented in stereo English with a lot of separation. Unfortunately, the separation was that the vocals came out of the left channel and the music, as bad as it was, came out of the right side. Such lame mastering is probably not the fault of the nice folks at New Sensation since they are known for some top-notch audio when they try. There was a voice over and dubbed audio for the moans and groans too, reminiscent of Private's older attempts that proved so unpopular.

Body of Review: Ask people who their favorite porn director is and you'll get a lot of answers. From Jules Jordan to John Stagliano, to Brad Armstrong and scores of others, many consumers realize that aside from the female performers, the best way to know if you'll like a movie is who is making it. If you ask them who are the worst directors, most fans will also have a short list, often times the same people on the first list since the genre they all shoot tends to be loved or hated with little middle ground. One director seems to transcend that gap and his name is John Bone. While virtually no one likes his work these days, mostly due to the lack of heat and/or production quality, a number of consumers hate it with a passion. Their reasoning is sometimes unclear but most of it has to do with the fact that he has no extras on his very short features that show the technical expertise of a middle school amateur playing with his father's camera on a weekend. While I think such consumers are being a trifle unfair to the Bone-man, they are the ones refusing to buy his movies so I have to give them the nod for knowing what they hate watching. Mr. Bone once had a sizable fan base when others helped curb his weaknesses but now that he's on his own, his flaws stand out like sore thumbs. Such is the case with his latest release, Domina 3. The movie is about a group of gals at a castle that earn their keep by sexually pleasing the friends of the Baroness who owns the property. That was all there was as the narrator described what was going to happen before each weak scene. If you haven't gotten the hint yet, read on but keep in mind that there were no cast ID's or extras to use to identify them so if you're a fan of the virtually unknown cast, you're in the minority:

Scene One: The first scene had a gal wearing a silly plastic outfit go down on some nameless guy. In general, I like fetish attire as it can add a dimension of heat and newness to the same old sex if handled well but sadly, the goofier outfits make me laugh (as this one did). They did oral and straight sex with anal at the end. There was no chemistry or heat, making this scene a waste of time.

Scene Two: The next scene was shot outdoors and had a gal in heavy white makeup (like Pris in Blade Runner) orally and vaginally pleasing a guy in a red mask. She seemed fairly talented in the art of milking a nut and I liked her corset as it accentuated her figure but the music weakened it too much and the anal seemed forced. She did do some ATM for the extremists out there but I've seen more convincing performances out of daytime soap operas.

Scene Three: In this scene, a blonde and a brunette took on a muscular guy outdoors by a pool. They blew him and traded positions several times as he boned them both. The sex included oral, straight and anal with each gal helping out her friend as they did whatever it took to get him off. It wasn't a bad scene for all the limitations it had.

Scene Four: Fans of 1980's punk rock chicks might like the next scene since it had a brunette in a silly purple outfit take on two guys outside. They had her blow them, they boned her pussy and ass and she screamed the whole fricking time like she was being attacked (a real turn on for normal people, NOT!). It ended with the usual facial after a DP and her purple-feathered hair didn't help make it fun to watch, especially with her yelling all the time.

Scene Five: In the final scene, the redhead in the vinyl corset and the brunette with a blue wig and matching satin outfit took on a masked man. What said it all for me was that he was barely able to keep an erection most of the time no matter which hole he was filling. The gals also licked each other and the scene was okay if only for the lesbian aspects of it.

Summary: I've seen many better releases in the last day or two, never mind in the last few years but the idea was sound even if the execution of it was poor. I'm going to rent this one as a Skip It since the movie was tame and lame all rolled up into one with weaker than average technical stuff. If you like fetish videos, you can do better almost anywhere else shy of Sunshine and if you want passionate sex, this is the wrong place to look.
