Extra's: The best extra of the DVD would easily be the bonus scene between Heather Gables, Joey Silvera, and Sledge Hammer. She was good in Hellcats 3 and here too. The other extras included a photogallery, cast list, limited filmographies, and a paper insert detailing upcoming releases from Evil Angel.

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, as expected. Like most gonzo, the picture suffered from some grain and minimal video noise but nothing that would keep me from watching this one over and over. I saw no compression artifacts and the lighting was generally pretty good this time. The audio was presented in the usual stereo English but there wasn't any significant dynamic range or separation between the channels. It was clear enough, considering the action, but I still long for the day when audio is treated with more respect from the better companies in the industry like Evil Angel (so the pack will follow them).

Body of Review: Gonzo leaders like Evil Angel have long followed their own path, letting others follow their lead. The company has a small stable of talented directors that were cultivated over years of hard work and one of their best in terms of diversity is Joey Silvera. The man is known for some really strange titles as well as his rougher edged series and the latest in that line is Joey Silvera's Service Animals 17. The series showcases women that are sexually talented, often fairly new to the industry, and who willingly have some of the hardest sex in which domination is a major theme. Such is the case with this volume, much like Volume 16, the last release in the series. If you're still interested in this one, read the following breakdown of scenes by cast:

Scene One: Jayna, started off the show by wearing a skimpy schoolgirl outfit like she did with Britney on the front DVD cover in the upper middle of the box. She was smoking and seemed to be in need of some discipline. After Britney "arrested" her, the two went in front of Shawn and Domineko in a kitchen (the premise quickly fell apart). Shawn took charge and choked her a little bit before the gals kissed to warm up. There was then some spanking (how appropriate, huh?) and the gals ended up taking turns blowing Shawn. Jayna then started bouncing on Shawn's cock while Britney slobbed Domineko's knob, all to the very vocal tone of Jayna's gasps. Jayna then took to the anal nearly as well as she did the vaginal sex with Britney helping her take it all inside. Each gal gave her all but Jayna's DP was impressive for the comparative size difference if nothing else. The gals took their facials like professionals and cum swapped in a heated manner.

Her see thru corset and fishnet stockings helped make her a treat for the eyes as she showed off her stripper skills and perfect ass for the guys. Like the gals before her, she was hot.

Scene Four: Corina, a lean white gal wearing a fishnet top, a couple pieces of blue jean thread for shorts, and some "wings" as displayed in the upper left hand corner of the front DVD cover, played with Rick and Tone outdoors, showing off her flat chest and bony ass. With a body like this, you know she's going to have to make up for it somehow and she succeeds to a point. While they took the act inside and gave her some oral loving too, the gagging action was a bit weak for me. If you like your performers young looking, she may fit the bill but she wasn't all that special to me.

Scene Five: Sativa and Foxy, both seen on the middle of the left hand side of the front DVD cover, were walking down the street when called back by Joey. They get in his SUV and show themselves off (primarily Sativa though) and soon arrived at his place where the gals spanked one another and played hard. Seth was called on to provide the hot beef injection and the trio were all skilled at sexual play. From the kissing to the blowjob to the straight and anal, the gals proved they had what it takes to milk a nut. Foxy seemed the more intense of the two women but each contributed their own unique brand of loving to the proceedings. I think both gals did a splendid job, showing heat and chemistry beyond their years.

Scene Six: Crystal, a bleached blonde with a curvy ass that'd make even a gay man sit up and take notice, showed off her body to Joey Ray inside the house after a bit of striptease. Her neon green outfit wasn't the best of the batch but most fans would rather see it, and her, on the floor so that's no big deal. She's featured on the front DVD cover in the middle of the bottom, so you'll see what I mean about her sweet ass if you take a look. She started off the sex by sitting on his face and bossing him around before giving him some head to warm up to. They then screwed in a couple of positions with her energy levels pretty solid. It wasn't the best scene of the bunch but it had some measure of merit to it although fans of facials will be less than thrilled that he lost control and popped off on her abdomen as he pulled out of her pussy. Kink fiends may enjoy that he licked some of his own spew off of her body but that's not my thing.

Scene Seven: Heather, the blonde on the lower left hand side of the front DVD cover, showed she was more than just a flash in the pan with her performance in Hellcats 3. Joey and Sledge were rough on her meaty pussy lips but there was no stopping this gal once she got started. There was gagging, choking, straight and anal with some point o view oral to end it (with the two loads of course). I think fans will enjoy this one a lot as she remained playful as well as sexually charged throughout the scene.

Summary: While Service Animals 17 was not the edgiest, roughest outing by the famed director, it had enough of that type of action for all but the pickiest of fans and a lot more for the casual porn fan that enjoys seeing women get off to hardcore sex acts. I'm going to rate this one as Recommended for the great cast, the solid amount of fuck for the buck and the action being exactly what was described on the cover. A few of these gals almost certainly will be in tremendous demand after this movie is seen by other producers and I hope all of them live up to their potential because they all appeared to have hardcore down to a science (well, nearly all).
