Extra's: The only extra worth anything was the lengthy orgy scene from Seymore and Shane Do Ireland (referring to Kylie Ireland, who sadly wasn't in the scene). It was a great extra that made me want to see the whole movie and added some measure of replay value to the show. The other extra was a series of trailers that really didn't mean much to me.

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color that Seymore's movies were shot in. The age of the material was about ten years old and showed its age but was not bad considering the entirety of the circumstances surrounding its filming. There was grain, compression artifacts, problems with lighting and a host of other ills but the overall impression I got is the same as most of Seymore's works; he focuses on the moment rather than the technical matters, figuring fans want the heat more than the pristine look some director's (and reviewers) prefer. The audio was presented in a slightly cleaned up 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo English but I think the encoding was added long after the shooting since there was no separation between the channels and the background noise was so evident. The vocals weren't as clear in the scenes as I like to listen to but they also conveyed the feel I think Seymore tries to obtain in his movies so if you haven't minded it in the past, it won't matter now.

Body of Review: What more can be said about the famed Seymore Butts that hasn't already been said? For years, he was a leader in the gonzo porn industry, focusing his attention on anal sex well before it became an industry standard. Now that everyone and their brother is shooting the same stuff, Seymore's cutting edge is gone but all of those gonzo director's except maybe John Stagliano owe the man a debt for opening the (back)door for their own works. In recent years, Pure Play Media has been re-releasing Seymore's back catalog of works, including some very well received compilations, the latest of these is Seymore Butts' There Was An English Lass Who Loved Cock Up Her Ass (AKA: Deep Inside Yvonne), a set of scenes that all have the lovely British tart Yvonne as a centerpiece for the anal pounding action. If you've ever watched this gal take a penis in her backside, you'll know that she liked the action as much as any blonde ever did and her enthusiasm spread to those she worked with. Here's a breakdown of the scenes of the movie, each featuring Yvonne, just keep in mind that the advertised "94.8% anal" is a misnomer since there was a lot of oral and straight sex too:

Scene One: Backdoor To Buttsville: 1995: Shane, Tera, and Yvonne had a scene with Tom from the archives of the anal enthusiast that started off as Tom celebrating his birthday. Tom hailed from Houston so even though he is a bit of a pervert, you have to take your hat off to how he choose to enjoy his special day. The setting was around noon and the gals were determined to make it a special day for the lean man by turning the tables on him somewhat. Yeah, there was the usual oral, straight and anal sex but they also rimmed his ass and jammed some beads up his butt to boot. The gals took turns riding him although Shane seemed more intent on controlling the action (or at least directing it), making me think her directorial nature was already evident at this point in her career. There was a fair amount of chemistry between the cast this time and while I've never really thought of Tera or Yvonne as top notch performers, they were pretty good here.

Scene Two: Seymore And Shane Meet Kathy Willets: The Naughty Nymph: 1994: Yvonne, the blonde Brit with a love of sex, and Vince were boning in bed as Seymore and Shane came home from the airport. The scenario was that Yvonne was responsible for picking them up and she blew it; preferring to screw Vince instead. Shane jumped in to get some measure of satisfaction and the three went at it orally, vaginally and anally but the scene was fairly short compared to most of Seymore's work. I thought Vince's pirate look (he had long, flowing hair here) was funny, especially given his closely cropped locks these days, but the gals looked to be having fun with him so who am I to judge?

Scene Three: Seymore And Shane On The Loose!: 1994: Krista, a cutie from Texas, Yvonne, the English lass this compilation is centered on, Shane, the mainstay of many early Seymore movies (and the only reason he initially broke out from the pack in my opinion), Mark and Gerry, had a scene in Seymore's living room when he went to pick up Shane for a signing in a Canadian bookstore. The orgy was very typical of early Seymore movies and had all the oral, straight and anal sex you'd expect although Yvonne and Krista were the focal points of the guy's attentions. They did seem to enjoy the action but Krista's over the top yelling (probably to make sure she got more air time) came off as fake too often for me and it took away from Yvonne's performance. Overall though, I'd be lying if I said that the scene was a bad one since they all seemed to have fun and the chemistry that Shane injected into the scene was easily as good as the talented Yvonne here.

Scene Four: Seymore And Shane: Playing With Fire: 1994: Shane, seeing how distressed Seymore has been over the whole burglary issue (his place was broken into previously while he was away on a business trip), decided to perk him up with a little show. She and Yvonne bring back Alex, the porn stud they met at the AVN awards show, and make Seymore a happy camper again. They all sucked and fucked (vaginally and anally) until even a depressed Seymore had a smile on his face, and he eventually joined in a bit. The scene ended though when Shane used her rather large vibrator/massager, on herself while Alex hammered away at her.

Bonus Scene: Seymore And Shane Do Ireland: 1994: This was a long orgy scene that had Shane, Missy, Amanda, Yvonne, Nicole, Alex, Mark, Seymore and maybe one other person all engaged in some sexual hijinks in a large living room. It was my favorite scene of the bunch and had all the usual oral, straight and anal action you'd expect from one of Seymore's movies. There was also chemistry between the performers that was undeniable so I rather enjoyed the nearly 44 minutes of action here.

Summary: This wasn't Seymore's best compilation to date but it was enjoyable enough to rate a Recommended if you're a fan of his. The bonus scene put it over the top in that sense and while it had a number of technical problems, the heat, the attractive cast, and the chemistry that only Seymore could manage, all combined to make it worthy of his fans. While true fans would be better off getting the original releases as they come out, this serves as a solid primer for those who particularly liked Yvonne as a cock-hungry anal addict and her similarity to the famed Nina Hartley might be one reason why so many appreciated her so much.
