Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in anamorphic widescreen 1.85:1 ratio color. The colors were sometimes a bit too saturated but aside from some minor grain and video noise, the show looked pretty good and never distracted from the sex taking place. The audio was presented in 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround English but the use of the audio format was not really great since most of the sound came from the center channel. While this comes as no surprise, especially since the budget of most porn movies is so small, Digital Playground is world-renowned for being on the bleeding edge of technology and a number of fans appreciate their efforts.

Body of Review: One of the most popular comedy porn series on the market today is Jack's Playground. Director Robby D. formulated the series in order to experiment with the porn genre, providing some decent stabs at comedy and heated sex with the chance to parody various porn conventions with a wink and nod. After missing the last couple of volumes in the series, I had the chance to watch Jack's Playground 14: Montel Invades The Trade Show, and the premise this time had Montel returning to the spotlight as he visited the 2004 AEE Show. For those of you unfamiliar with the series, Robby plays a potential director of music videos that is always capturing the sexual exploits of those around him, with little regard to normal porn conventions (solo scenes are rare in a feature these days and he always tries to include a couple of them with new girls as one example). If you're looking for a refreshing change of pace in a market saturated by followers, you should take a look at Jack's Playground 12 but here's my take on it:

Scene One: Melissa, the cute blonde in the middle of the front DVD cover wearing the pink fishnet top, started off wearing some shiny black shorts and boots too (looking ever so fuckable, I might add). She took care of Joel on a bed after the briefest of introductions, sucking him off with glee before they screwed. Fans will enjoy her anal antics here as much as his spanking of her ample ass with the two sharing some energy and chemistry in the scene. It ended with a facial that wasn't bad, just unappealing to me as I'd have preferred she swallow it down whole.

Scene Two: Eve, a cute brunette with some curves to her lean body (not to mention huge implants), had the next scene with Eric, a series regular. The sex here was no less energetic although there wasn't any anal and the oral was actually better (people tend to compensate for shortcomings in porn I suppose). The scene didn't seem as long either but they did several positions of vaginal sex to get off and it also ended with a facial.

Scene Three: Crissy, the brunette on the left hand side of the front DVD cover, reminded me a lot of former contract girl Tera Patrick, had the next scene while hanging out of the couch talking to Jack. This was one of the masturbation scenes the series is known for and it wasn't a bad look at this cutie. I'm willing to bet a lot of guys watching this will be joining her (in spirit at least) as they see why she was featured on the cover with the others. It was way too short in length but I'm hoping she makes it into future volumes of the series. There was a short cameo of a topless Jelena Jensen here but she was completely natural here with no make up (I'm not one to care much about this however, she looks better with some paint on her lovely face, trust me). I would've appreciated the two doing one another but the solo stuff is a regular feature of the series and it seems to work for a lot of fans.

Scene Four: Christie, yet another breath of fresh air for me, was a blonde with nice legs, a killer ass and beautiful smile as she walked into the room with Eric. The sex wasn't exactly the most smoking I've seen from Digital Playground but the couple seemed to have fun and shared at least a little chemistry together in their sensual scene. The oral was the best part of the scene but she took to cock in her tight pussy as well so I think her fans will be as happy as I was watching this. The energy was somewhat lower here than in a couple of the other scenes but I don't think most guys are going to care once they take a look at this gal, probably wishing she were in their lap bouncing up and down.

Scene Five: Monica, a twenty year old blonde wearing a pink boa, a skimpy sequined bikini, and a muff buffer pair of blue jean shorts, was on the couch with dime store cowgirl Celeste, as Jack made his move. Essentially, she was convinced to do the next solo scene for him when he promised her some goodies to see her perform for him. I think she was cute in the sense of a house stripper in need or an orthodontist, with some potential for future fun (her body was certainly good enough for me and her basic facial structure pleasing). If she didn't actually get off while making the scene, she sure gave it a good college try and I want to see more of her in the future.

Scene Six: Teagan, Digital Playground's latest contract star, taking over Devon's spot, was up next. In case you've been living under a rock for the last year or so, she's the hotty on the right side of the front DVD cover that has done it all and Eric was the lucky bastard to tap that fine pussy from Houston, TX. While this wasn't her most extreme performance (she's done some very wild things in past scenes), I think I liked her more here than in most of those others she's been in to date. The oral and straight sex was plenty for me and I'm sure her fans will enjoy this scene a whole lot of times, if you catch my drift. Digital Playground made a great move in signing her and I hope she gets all the attention she deserves (by the way, the cut up blue jeans she was in looked hot).

Summary: It took me a few volumes to appreciate the series but it manages to combine humor and sex in a way that few others are willing to even attempt, usually succeeding in the process. Jack's Playground has set a new standard in porn comedy by never forgetting to give the fan what he wants; hot sex, beautiful women, and fresh ideas. With the basics covered, director Robbie D. has made a commitment to serving up a dish best served smoking hot with a smile to boot so I'm going to rate this as Recommended, just like Jack's Playground 11, although I came closer to giving it the next higher rating (if there were more sex, I'd have done so). I wish there had been more jokes about the Convention but I had to admit the playful poking by Montel at former contract star Tera Patrick, especially the bitch slap noise, were alone worth the price of admission. The sex and refreshing cuties of the movie were what made it worth a purchase. Check out the series and let me know what you think, just don't go in with any preconceived ideas since the series will always be a couple of steps ahead of you. Fans of Teagan will now have a reason other than the lovely Jesse Jane to see the latest Digital Playground releases and this is good news for all concerned; have fun.
