Extra's: There were actually a lot of good extras here to add value for those of you who enjoy them. First up was an 11 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Johnny Thrust that showcased all the gals before their respective scenes. It could've been longer but I thought it proved everyone was consenting and having a good time making the movie. There were also five interviews with the gals of the movie, most of who goofed around for the camera with their scene partners at one point or another. Each of the cast, men and women alike, had a short biography (I just wished the men had a picture too since I'm not familiar with a few of them, leading to some minor guesswork about identities below) that gave some background data. There were also trailers, a pop shot compilation, a photogallery, and a double sided DVD cover with Katja featured on both sides.

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, as most porn is made these days. To be fair, the video quality varied a bit with the scenes shot in broad daylight taking the high end and the dungeon-like atmosphere of a few other scenes showing considerable grain and even some compression artifacts at times. On average, I think the sex was good enough to distract a viewer's attention but a closer examination proved revealing in terms of visual defects, however minor in scope they were. The audio was presented in a minimalistic stereo English with no true separation noticed and only the hint of dynamic range beyond the normal equipment used. It wasn't bad but it wasn't all that great either.

Body of Review: Mayhem XXX is one of those companies that I've found to offer some solid gonzo performances in recent months. While I haven't seen many of their releases, my associates seem to agree that the content of their movies is very much in line with their advertising, something not always the case with their competitors. In the crowded field of gonzo porn, that's a big plus for the consumer. Their latest release is Ass Fucked, a movie of five vignettes where the attractive female cast practically demands to be fucked in the ass by the host of male meat puppets. There was very little story behind each one and the extreme nature of the sex was enough that fans of circus act sex will likely be satisfied but the main draw here is going to be the women; something not usually the case with gonzo. From Katja to Gia to Trina and Audrey, the sexual romp was exceptionally hot with plenty of energy and chemistry to make a consumer pleased with their purchase. If this sounds like something appealing to you, read the following breakdown of scenes by the cast and what they did:

Scene One: Audrey, a lean gal with some curves wearing a pair of tiny shorts and a black crop top, gets picked up hitchhiking by Otto and Trent on the side of a deserted freeway. They took her to their worksite where she used the bathroom while they finished a job, soon to find her coming out all decked out on fishnet stockings, a pink camisole, and a collar with a sexually permissive attitude (asking to be "fucked in the ass"). They stay outside and go to a little stream where they all got busy, feeding her some trouser trout before hammering away at her holes like they were on leave from Iraq. The anal was pretty hardcore as they slammed her while she verbally demanded more, ending in a major DP and facial. She was pretty dirty at the end of the scene, giving those who want a nasty gal plenty to enjoy. The energy levels were high and the extreme nature of the scene exactly what was advertised.

Scene Two: Katja, the hotty on the front DVD cover who's been taking the porn world by storm in recent months, was next up in a scene with Nick. She awoke in a creepy, deserted building where it looked like she'd be a murder victim in no time only to find him ready for her. I liked her fishnet stockings, garter and minimal underwear a whole lot as they always look great on her and apparently he shared my convictions because he was aggressively screwing her within moments. He then went down on her before slamming her ass in a manner he hasn't been seen doing in years (he dropped off the face of the world for awhile), making him a very lucky man indeed. Like the other gals, she did her share of taste testing of his rod after it penetrated her but her energy was off the charts, better than the others most of the time.

Scene Three: Gia, looking stunning in a black PVC corset and matching stockings with collar, pranced into the courtyard of a nice house ready to screw anything that moved. Her scene partners were Dave, Van, and Bob, all of whom tore her up by taking her orally, jamming their cocks inside her mouth, vaginally, pushing her limits to the max there, and anally, stuffing her as full as I've ever seen her in the past. She was among the most verbally nasty of the bunch and they responded exactly as you'd expect them to in another great scene. The gagging, tasting and facial with some swallowing were all well done and fans will simply have to see this one to believe it.

Scene Four: Trina, a gal with whitish blonde hair that falls down to her back nearly touching her ass and a curvy body that men would love to use, started off the scene by acting like a bitch in charge of the world. She soon ended up in a pink body stocking and shorts with a set of nice fishnet stockings in a subterranean industrial plant with Alec, demanding her fuck her in the ass. After some sweet oral by both of them and a bit of vaginal warming up to boot, he was tapping that ass like it was the best he'd ever had. She was verbal like Gia but mostly lost in the moment, moaning and groaning like a banshee, even as she did the taste test off his penis. In all, it might not have been the best scene of the show but it was very well done with loads, and I do mean loads, of replay value.

Scene Five: Kat, a skinny gal with minimal curves wearing a black see through top, pink stockings, and a regulation slut-wear outfit, started off the scene getting kicked out of an SUV along a deserted roadway. She wandered up to the nearest house only to find a grumpy, though still massive, Lee telling her he'd give her a ride to town for an ass fucking. If I had been her, I'd have given it to him when he turned his back but she gave it up to him instead. The oral wasn't as energetic as the other scenes but when they started in on one another, she proved her worth in the vaginal and anal sex. I really didn't find her all that attractive but I did enjoy the heat of the scene.

Summary: There's no way around the fact that this DVD earned a rating of Highly Recommended. From the attractive, ball bustingly energetic cast to the solid plate of extras to the amount of fuck for the buck, I dare say that fans of anal sex will be getting off to this one for a long, hard time. With four out of five scenes top notch and the other one designed to appeal to fans of young gals taking it hard and deep, I think Jim Powers has finally proved that he wasn't the hack director his detractors have long claimed him to be. I look forward to seeing if he ends up with a sophomore slump with his next release at Mayhem, a company seemingly ready to challenge it's peers.
