Extra's: The best extra was easily the 16.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by "The Man". It started off with Bamboo showing off her assets on a couch with some interview footage and a bit of masturbation and progressed to her scene and Pat playing with her a bit outside (not sexually though). I thought Pat was advertising West Coast Choppers a bit much with his sweatshirt but his biker affiliations have long been a part of his work so I can't complain too loudly about it. Julie Robbins was up next and she seemed to be a delight with her demure manner of showing off (kidding) but Pat should've provided her with some batteries for her vibrator to make her masturbation sequence more enjoyable (for both her and the audience at home). She had great legs and I predict a bright future for her in porn. I would've enjoyed footage of the other gals but a lot of similar releases have no footage at all so I won't fuss too much about it. The other extras were the usual trailers, photogallery and pop shot compilation.

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, the porn industry standard for years, as it was originally shot. The lighting seemed better this time and the grain and video noise were less noticeable as a result. The composition of the shots seemed somewhat better too although a bit more work on that might yield significant results too although the colors were accurate for the most part. I had few complaints about the picture and the action easily distracted me from whatever flaws were present. The audio was presented in the usual stereo English but the vocals were often too low and the music in-between the scenes (as well as the credits) was kind of lame; mostly because it was too loud compared to the vocals. If you turned up the volume for the vocals, you'd have to readjust for the vocals and vice versa.

Body of Review: From Ass Brand New to Ass Slaves to Terrible Teens to the more recent Just My Ass Please and Double Impact 1, Pat Myne has been showing the porn world that he has a lot of talent developed over the years he was a performer. As with the first volume of the series, Pat proved that he had an eye for talent in his latest release, Double Impact 2; a show about double penetrations. This time, Pat pulled out all stops in terms of cast and went with some of the leading anal queens of the industry such as Katja Kassin. I think fans of anal action are going to be very happy with the results but here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast in case you want more information on which to base your decision:

Scene One: Selena, a lean brunette from Australia that doesn't look nearly as old as her true age, started off the movie with the formulaic tease footage that Pat (and I) like so much. Her all natural body and willingness to do anything directors want have made her a minor favorite in the industry and fans will appreciate this scene a lot. Her partners this time were Manuel and Steve, the tag team duo from overseas, and the oral action was her best asset as she took both of them into her stretchable mouth. They did some rough sex too (slapping being the most common) but the vaginal and anal with plenty of DP action was the primary focus. The standing DP was the best in terms of fun but the bent over version on the couch seemed the position she enjoyed the most (with her wailing like a banshee about it). In all, it was a decent scene by someone with a modicum of talent for sexual activity on camera with a touch of passion and some minor heat to display. It ended with a creampie and swallowing session for fans.

Scene Two: Bamboo, an attractive Asian with dyed hair and a lean body, was up next as she showed some decent tease footage and huge nipple erections (she could've poked an eye out with those things) outside before taking the show inside for some action with Alberto and Jay. They seemed impossibly large for her to handle but she did so with ease in the usual oral, vaginal, anal and DP expected here. Her moans seemed more realistic than Selena's although the chemistry was often lacking and the heat a bit tepid at times. On a mechanical level though, she was better suited for the action and fans won't care much either way since the gal has a lot of talent in the sexual activity arena. She took the facials well and fans of Asian gals will like her a lot.

Scene Three: Katja, the hotty on the front DVD cover that has taken the porn world by storm this past year with her exquisite performances in hardcore gonzo, was up next as she took on Ben and Manuel in a cavernous living room while initially blindfolded. She was the queen of oral her as much as the anal queen of the show, pushing the men to their limits with a heated smile and energetic performance. From the gagging oral to the hammering screwing in both holes (singularly and together), Katja was a sight to behold. I'll admit that I'm a long time fan of hers (she was the talk of the town at the 2004 AEE Show, having put on more than a few shows at various parties) and my comments can be taken with a grain of salt but the scene was well done and fans will enjoy every sweaty minute of it. What sets her apart in many of her scenes is the way she aggressively pushes back at her partners and doesn't just lie there to take what they have to offer; something most fans seem to appreciate these days. The guys didn't get much in her mouth to swallow but she played with their dicks at the end as well as their semen so it's not like she was dodging.

Scene Four: Lil' Bit More, a tiny bleach blonde gal from Las Vegas, was the next gal in the show to follow the routine. Her tease wasn't as expansive as the other gals and following Katja didn't help her much either but she provided a decent show of her own here with Steve and Manuel on a couch. Her oral skills rivaled Selena's and while she wasn't as good as Katja in the boning department, she was better than most in terms of pure energy. This is an interesting development since she was so tiny and fans of dirty talk will appreciate her enthusiastic howls demanding to be fucked in her ass but she never really appealed to me here. If you like gals that look underage (although obviously aren't), she'll be a scene you go back to repeatedly. All accounts of her being a nasty little slut proved true here and the ending facial was well done even though she didn't swallow.

Scene Five: Julie, a stripper from Charlotte, North Carolina with perfect legs and a sweet ass, was up next. She teased the camera outside (what awesome grinding of her ass on the bench!) and went inside to get some meat from Brian and Steve in the living room. I think she had a great body and only a nose job stands in her way of taking the porn world by storm but her performance here was very well done. There was less emphasis on the oral this time but she did a fair amount of that as well as take the guys in her two holes like a champion. She could pump and grind with the best of them and even seemed to like rimming Steve while she was getting pounded from behind. She had a couple of extra pounds (noticeable in a couple of positions) that looked okay on her but some toning wouldn't hurt either. In all, there was less DP footage here too but a lot of anal and she took the semen nicely.

Summary: I think Double Impact 2 was easily worth a rating of Recommended based on the heated performance of Katja Kassin alone with the other gals strutting their moves nicely as well. The casting this time seemed to focus on providing for the niche markets, Katja for the overall anal crowd, Selena for her internet audience, Bamboo for the Asian lovers, Lil Bit for those that like gals looking underage, and Julie for the guys that love that Deep South accent; but that tended to make the scenes somewhat limited in appeal to the general population a bit more than average. All the gals did double penetrations, all of them showed some solid energy, and all of them had their unique appeal but something was missing in many cases and it's difficult to describe just what that was. I'll admit to liking each scene for some aspect or another but only one of them truly shined as the leader of the pack and that kept the rating lower than it could have been.
