Extra's: The best extra, by far, was the 24 minute long Behind the Scenes feature. It wasn't the best BTS I've watched in recent weeks but it wasn't bad for a fledgling company. The first 17 or so minutes were devoted to the scene between Rio Mariah and Brett Rockman so if you enjoy those two performers, you're going to really like this as an extra (the rest of it was spent with Katja and Lauren in their scene). The other extras included the standard photogallery and a pop shot compilation from the scenes with some trailers to movies like Absolute Ass 1 as well.

Audio/Video Quality: Absolute Ass 2 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as originally shot by director Jordan Septo. The colors looked accurate, the fleshtones solid, and the grain minimal; just like the first volume of the series. One more positive thing to note was that the problems with a shaky camera were less obvious this time; marking a giant leap for anal-kind in his movies. He still has a way to go in terms of composing shots that compliment the performers and how often he uses close ups but his learning curve is fairly impressive compared to too many of the usual hacks that never grow beyond their weaker skills. The audio was a bit more mixed with Jordan's interview voice far easier to hear than the performers during the interview but once the action started; things were generally okay in this production.

Body of Review: As one of the more productive reviewers of porn these days, I try to take a look at a variety of material in order to better judge what works, what doesn't, and why. By comparing and contrasting what you can buy, the end result is (hopefully) a means for consumers to get more of an idea as to the contents of a DVD than you can trust via the advertised box cover. Let's face it; I doubt the people who design box covers have seen the movies in question and most of what they say is pure marketing hype. That said, I found a lot to like when watching Absolute Ass earlier this year. Director Jordan Septo is a newcomer to directing porn and those of you who've watched newcomers come and go will know how much of a long shot such guys are for companies. Thankfully, the guy has some basic talent with which to work and that's half the battle. In the follow up volume of the series, Absolute Asses 2, his skills continue to refine and he offers up a host of even better gals for your viewing pleasure in the five scenes. If you want to watch anal antics with some of the best in the jizz bizz, you could do far worse than this one so with that said, here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast and action:

Scene One: Katja, the attractive redhead hotty from Germany that has made so many fans this year (and was showcased on the front cover on the right hand side), and bleached blond cutie Melissa, a gal with a devilish smile, took on the massive Lee after a short interview with Jordan. I'm a big fan of Katja's and seeing her with another woman as well as a man is something I haven't come across much this year. I have to admit that I liked it for the variety if nothing else. They tasted one another and combined with their fishnet stockings, I was ready to blow a load out of the gate. The warm up lesbian action was good but Lee plugging them was even better (although fans of PTM and ATM might enjoy how much of that went on too). Oral, vaginal, anal, spanking and some rough edged antics were all on display with Melissa trying her best to keep up with Katja (doing a moderate job of it too). When it finished, over a half hour later, the sweaty trio was nearly as drained as I was and Katja licked the semen off Melissa's face. Whew!

Scene Two: Jamie, another blonde hotty with killer curves and a white fishnet body stocking as displayed on the front DVD cover (in the middle), was up next. She gave her interview outside before taking on the wild Brett on a wicker couch on the porch. She masturbated, gave him some splendid head, kept up the dirty talk throughout the scene, rode him vaginally as well as anally, and proved to me all around that she fit right in here. While her energy levels were not as high as the last two gals, no one in their right mind will call this gal a slacker after her intense boning session here and the chemistry was evident between them. For the record, she gave his penis the tastes test after taking it in both her lower holes and I'll have to revisit some of her earlier scenes given the strength of this one.

Scene Three: Nicki, another busty bleach blonde wearing fishnets and a slutty outfit (she's on the left side of the front DVD cover), gave her interview on the inside of the house before getting to work with the massive Lee. I wasn't a fan of her implants but her attitude was good about the coming action and that counts for a lot with me. Her fleshy ass was built for comfort, not for speed, and those of you who like strong legs as much as I do will appreciate her all the more. There wasn't as much oral this time although Nicki was obviously no stranger to having a cock in her mouth. Lee did his usual standing 69 for a moment but it was clear that he wanted to rip into her ass like nobody's business and they went at it enthusiastically as she talked dirty. There was also humor in the scene as she talked about him spreading her pussy while he screwed her ass (maybe she can't tell the difference?) but it was a well done scene nonetheless. The only weakness for some of you will be the limited facial he gave her; apparently, he's been working a lot lately, if you catch my drift.

Scene Four: Reina, a fleshy brunette with large (implanted) breasts and some extra pounds for fans of chunky chicks (not everyone likes skinny gals, but she wasn't fat either), had an outdoor scene with multi-tattooed Joe by the pool. Her oral was surprisingly weaker than usual but she did maintain eye contact and used her hand to help coax his load a bit. I'm not overly familiar with the guy but those of you wanting to see a small dick will be ecstatic with his work here. He gave her some oral too but she killed it with an overly fake bit of vocalization. Her anal wasn't bad but she could tone up a bit before her next scene. It was the weakest scene overall and I didn't detect much chemistry between them (although for all I know, they're an old married couple).

Scene Five: Rio, a tiny cutie with lighter hair (processed), was up next in a very energetic and fun scene inside on a couch. While her body type is not my favorite and I didn't like her implants, ever since she rubbed me the right way back in January (we chatted a bit, let's leave it at that), I've found her intriguing. Her sexual skills are well developed, her positive attitude among the best in the business when getting into a scene, and her willingness to do whatever it takes to get her partner(s) off almost legendary. After the formulaic interview and masturbation sequence, she took care of Brett (taking up most of the BTS feature) orally before the boning. She deep throated him and choked a bit but her vocalization and tasting in the anal action was great! The scene seemed to be the shortest of the bunch but the heat levels were solid throughout and she didn't disappoint me (has she ever?). His pop shot to her face was kind of small (apparently, he's been working a lot too) but she never dodged it.

Summary: Absolute Ass 2 is not going to be the best anal movie of the year but it does offer an alternative to some of the brightly lit gonzo productions or fetish laced weird stuff on the market today. The straightforward approach works for a lot of guys these days that don't need (or care for) semi-gay action as some companies are moving towards or all the kinky niche fetishes like smoking, foot fetish, double penetrations, and what have you. I think the strength of four of the scenes was worth a rating of Highly Recommended with only one weaker scene (and I wouldn't have kicked her out of bed either) to detract from the overall fun. The BTS extra was well done and even though I'd have appreciated more footage from some of the other gals, the thoroughness will be appreciated by fans of Rio more than anyone else.
