Audio/Video Quality: Iron Head 1 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, as originally shot by Lex and his crew. For the most part, the colors, fleshtones, and other technical aspects were very well done this time. The camera angles varied from the POV so many of you seem to enjoy to the medium and close-up shots that have long been staples in porn. The lighting was solid in most cases which kept the grain and video noise to a minimum; making me very happy that I stuck with Lex and Mercenary Pictures for so long. The audio was presented in the usual stereo English with minimal separation or dynamic range but the basics were well handled and the groans could be easily heard.

Body of Review: With so many companies catering to niche markets these days, it's no wonder that consumers have been getting spoiled as they have found vocal advocates in reviewers like myself. Think about it; almost every act in porn turns someone on and many consumers have special needs with regard to what they need to get off so reviews can typically provide the kind of information that consumers have long found to be seriously lacking on box covers or paid advertising. I don't know about you but I've learned the hard way over the years that as much as I like porn, I don't trust companies to give me what they say is contained in their releases (simply put, I've been burned way too many times). One man that has tried his best to offer up exactly what he advertises in porn is Lexington Steele with his Mercenary Pictures releases. While he sometimes falters (like most mortals), on average I never get the impression that he's trying to rip anyone off for a one time profit. With this kind of attitude towards customer service, it should come as no wonder that his latest release, Iron Head 1, is just what I expected; a series of oral only scenes with gals giving head to a series of guys (mostly Lex but also some of his regular friends in porn). I'm not going to break down the scenes by cast this time since all the scenes were so similar but essentially, the gals wore lingerie and teased the camera a bit before blowing their partners.

If this sounds fairly basic in scope, that's because it was and there is an elegance in such simplicity that transcends the genre of porn and serves as a lesson in life. From Lex getting head by Katsumi to Erik giving Cameron a reason to enjoy his meat and beyond, the scenes all managed to show a fair amount of heat and/or chemistry that many other oral only shows simply fall short of doing. There were some moments where the action included the titty fuck and other actions (like jerking a guy off) but a lot of loads were launched to make this movie and a whole lot more are going to be christening the laps and hands of viewers that pick this one up.

The female cast varied quite a bit with a lot of the diversity missing at other companies. Some gals had naturally blonde hair while others were bleached blonde, brunette, or even redheaded. Other gals had all natural chests or implants that looked outrageous by comparison. Most of the gals wore fetish attire or sexy lingerie, with many, if not most of them, masturbating before they engulfed the member of their partner. If this isn't a recipe for success, I'm not sure I know what is. I think some of the gals were great at the sloppy blowjobs some of us like while others could out suck a Hoover vacuum cleaner and not a drop could escape their grasp. In all, while I'm not the biggest fan of oral action, I found a lot to like here.

Summary: Iron Head 1 was worth a rating of at least Recommended if not even more for providing the kind of action advertised and in copious amounts that should keep fans happy for weeks, if not months, at a time. The simple fact that a lot of the scenes were very short proved to me that the ladies were really talented at the kind of oral pleasuring many men enjoy and fans of Lexington should know that the majority of scenes had him at the helm. If you're a fan of the cast, check it out but if you like oral only scenes, this will be a must have for your collection.
