Audio/Video Quality: Big Toys No Boys was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color that most porn is shot in these days. The lighting was even and plentiful, there was no grain, and the camera angles generally complimented the cast of cuties. The colors were accurate and I found no fault with the picture worth mentioning. The audio was presented in stereo but nothing was said outside of some moans and groans so suggesting it was an English track would be misrepresenting the facts. In all, the audio was a bit on the light side, especially compared to the main menu section that blared loudly with droning techno music but once the show started, it settled down for the most part.

Body of Review: One of the companies I'm still on the fence about is Devil's Film since I've seen a lot of variations in quality from them in the past. I think they've found a couple of solid formulas to work with that address a market niche (or two) nicely but they often appear low grade due to a lack of extras, generic formulas, and the women they employ for their movies. Their latest release is a lesbian outing somewhat like Vivid's WTBA series, with the gals using toys and tonsils to get one another off. The cast looking very attractive gave the show some added appeal but your mileage will vary depending on how much you enjoy watching Euro-babes go at one another. If you're still interested, here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast:

Scene One: Sarah, Victoria, and Cindy, the two gals on the left side of the front DVD cover and the one on the far right hand side, were up first. While they weren't the cutest gals of the movie, they were among the most playful as they stroked and licked one another on top of a bed. I really liked the spider web stockings they wore although I'd be the first one to admit that they appeared to be lipstick lesbians more than anything else. The gals set the pace for the rest of the show by using large dildos on one another in addition to the oral pleasure they gave. Personally, I think they needed some Houston-sized man-meat involved in the scene (guess who'd volunteer?) but it wasn't bad for this type of vegetarian show. Some anal play and a technical DP took place as well as the taste testing so many fans seem to enjoy. There was little chemistry but if you enjoy slow, sultry lesbo scenes, it'll work for you.

Scene Two: Jennifer, Kirsty, and Natali, were up next in a scene that took place on a couch. This trio had a few more accentuated curves than the last batch (and I'm not suggesting they were fat, far from it, so much as better developed) and looked more into the action. The toys came out earlier this time and they spoke just as little as the other gals did but I'm sure these vixens could coax a load out of most fans simply by moaning a little as they masturbated. One thing I noticed about this scene was that the gals seemed far less orally inclined and that there was more pubic hair but again, some of you will enjoy those aspects more than others. I'd have licked the sweat off any of them without reserve so I enjoyed it a bunch.

Scene Three: Samantha, Linda, and Chelsea, two blondes and a brunette, were up next in this parade of pussy. The trio went at one another on a couch, looking determined to give the audience a bit of a show for their money as they licked, caressed, and used toys on each other much like the previous gals did. The major difference was that they kissed a lot more than the other gals did, showed less inclination to do oral on each other's crotches, and employed even more toys in their pleasuring giving. Samantha's nipples were almost always erect and Chelsea seemed equally turned on with Linda slightly into the action herself. In all, it wasn't the best scene of the movie but it had at least as much replay value as I've seen in a lesbian release in quite some time.

Scene Four: Nikki, Patricia, and Angie, all three blondes (sort of) with very lean bodies ready to use them to get themselves as well as their audience off on a couch. They went almost immediately to the toys and showed less reservations about eating clam chowder (as well as licking the toys clean) than the various other gals of the movie so those of you who like women eating one another out will have a lot to check out in this lengthy scene. Some of the spanking action employed was half hearted (at best) and only one of the gals convinced me she was truly into the scene but another (they weren't individually named) seemed almost there, if you know what I mean.

Scene Five: Sarah and Sandra rounded out the rest of the cast in the final scene on the well worn couch. The distinctive brunette meets blonde action had a lot of potential and this scene was different only in how certain aspects of the other formulaic scenes were incorporated into it. They seemed to like kissing, sucking each other off, and using toys but they also managed to take their time as each got in some mutual masturbation while practically holding each other tightly. I think I'd rather have seen them taking on Tristan at the end but it wasn't poorly done for a lesbian tryst.

Summary: Big Toys No Boys had enough solid material for me to suggest you Rent It first unless you really like this type of European flavored lesbian outing set to minimalist backgrounds. I'd rather have seen them outside or at least trying to communicate something besides a moan or two and the mechanical manner in which some of them performed made me wish the better performers could've had more scenes (dropping the ones there for a paycheck). I think Devil's Film will prove my initial observations right; they have a lot to offer porn fans, but need to work on the rough edges a bit more than they have so far but they're on the right track by most standards.
