Extra's: The best extra for me was the 13.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature starring the very attractive director of the show. Most of it was silly goofing around but fans of Kylie like myself will appreciate this a lot and the KSEX footage was cute too. There was also a 9 minute long series of photoshoots where the cast got to pose for the still camera in a variety of poses that pleased. Some of you will enjoy the photogallery, trailers, double sided DVD cover, director's biography or cum shot recap from the scenes (but I still liked the extra footage best and the cast list proved helpful; thanks!).

Audio/Video Quality: Ass Wreckage was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as directed by the hot and lovely Kylie Ireland. The cameraman was the talented Brandon Irons so you know the quality of the picture is going to be very solid and thankfully, he didn't let the viewer down. The composition of the shots was well done, the lighting pretty good (with a few shadows), and minimal grain or video noise to get in the way of the fun. There were no compression artifacts and the overall quality of the picture was a bit above average. The stereo English soundtrack was about average and that was one area that could bear the easiest upgrade for future shows (let's face it, if audio wasn't able to increase the whack factor of porn, phone sex wouldn't be such a big industry).

Body of Review: Kylie Ireland has long been a fan favorite for her winning performances, great looks, and ability to turn on just about any man regardless of his sexual orientation. Her curvy body and pleasing manner managed to convince leading lady of Platinum X Pictures, Jewel De' Nyle, that Kylie would make a great gonzo director, even though that has never been her style of show. Having watched Kylie's Taste Her Ass recently, my initial fears that she couldn't do a good job as a gonzo director were allayed and I sought out some of her other work to confirm it wasn't just a fluke. Her other title, Ass Wreckage, was just as good and fans of anal action will find this an exceptionally heated title. That said, here's a brief look at the movie's scenes, breaking them down by cast and action:

Scene One: Sandra, the brunette on the front DVD cover wearing a tiny PVC outfit, gentleman Steve, and buff John were up first. There wasn't any set up; the trio simply did exactly what they wanted to do and was busily licking one another on a bed when the camera turned on. Within a minute or so of the entrance, Steve was plugging away at her before licking her juices off his penis and then rimming him as John got some ass. The variations on the theme were nearly endless and the energy levels were very high throughout the entire scene with DP's, ATM, PTM, and lots of vocals to coax out your load(s). She wasn't the cutest gal of the show but she earned her pay more than a few times here. Fans of circus act sex will note that there were also double annals (DAP), lots of rimming (female to male and vice versa), and even fingering of the guy's asses, among other tricks. Wow!

Scene Two: Jamie, a very attractive blonde with some of her baby fat and PVC boots to compliment her lovely figure, was up next with Van on a bed. They kissed while she jerked him off and each gave as well as they got orally. Her sexual skills may not have been as well developed as Sandra's but her mouth was just as dirty and her cute factor made up for any discrepancies. There was some vaginal but with a title like Ass Wreckage, you had to know the anal was far more common here. The up side to this is that Jamie is and has always been, an excellent anal queen worthy of the crown that so many gals vie for these days. There was also ATM but most of the time she was riding his penis in her ass like she was on fire.

Scene Three: Kylie, the curvy director who's name derived from singer Kylie Minogue and Kathy Ireland, proved that she had learned more than a little in her years as a contract and feature star by joining in on the gonzo action here. Her partners were the new Tyla, a gal with a decent track record for scenes, and Van. Kylie was no sitter of the sidelines as she inhaled his cock to get him rock hard although Tyla took first fuck here. Each gal got some penis in their pussy and ass though (Tyla put eight fingers in Kylie while Van was boning the ass of the long time star too). Each gal did ATM and lots of other tricks; making this scene a must have for Kylie fans. The energy and chemistry levels were very good too so you won't be disappointed. Yum!

Scene Four: Julie, sporting newly brunette hair and her trademarked winning smile, Dominica, a blonde bombshell with a perchance for oral loving, and Jason, a guy that I don't recall ever seeing before, had their scene on a bed by a brick wall. This scene had the problem of following a great scene and while I think both gals were sexually skilled, the slower tempo of the action seemed to drag a bit more than I'd have liked at times. That's not to say the scene was bad; just a bit more limited than usual. In any case, the action was similar in the pussy and anal actions with taste testing but Dominica was the more aggressive of the two gals so fans of Julie might feel slighted. The most extreme it got was when Julie was technically DP'ed when Jason and strap-on dildo wearing Dominica tore her up.

Scene Five: Barbara, a bleach blonde with some nice curves and a love of interracial sex was up next while dressed in a pink camisole and skimpy panties. Her partners were the tag-team wonder twins of Tee and Sledge; a duality of thin and muscular men to address whatever needs a gal might have. They took turns plundering each end of hers and the scene managed to be fairly energetic with some chemistry (although neither quality was as solid as a couple of the better scenes of the show). Regardless, the scene had a lot of replay value, for fans of interracial as well as the rest of the world, and she managed to take the DP's with taste testing as well as anyone else in the show.

Summary: Ass Wreckage had a plethora of hot pussy and ass getting hammered with each gal doing exactly what fans want to see. Even the weakest scene was pretty good but the combination of excellent footage, the value adding extras, and overall quality of the production values and truth in advertising made this one worth a rating of Highly Recommended. If Kylie can manage to keep up this level of heated action in her scenes, even her directed scenes, she'll be rising the charts; disproving some of the critics that scoffed at her ability to direct, never mind direct gonzo, hardcore porn successfully. I'm rooting for her but I just hope she continues to give fans a little something of herself from time to time as it'd be a shame to keep her behind the camera when she has so much more to offer on both sides of it.
