Extra's: The best extra by far was the 10.5 minutes of Behind the Scenes footage by Jason Silver. I liked it this time as much as the last time I saw his work but it had a lot of filler footage too. The other extras were limited compared to other releases by the company and included short biographies of the entire cast (guys too), some trailers, a photogallery, and a pop shot compilation.

Audio/Video Quality: Assploitations 4 was presented in the typical 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, as expected. Sadly, the picture quality was still on the low side, something I've noticed a regular occurrence on the Mayhem side of Sin City. There was grain and video noise, but at least there weren't many compression artifacts. The focus seemed a little off at times too, which bugged me more than a little (maybe it had something to do with the lighting or perhaps it was the DVD transfer), but it was the colored lighting that weakened the picture the most this time. The shadows got in the way too often and this should be easy to fix for later volumes of the series. The 2.0 stereo English audio was a bit hollow with little dynamic range or separation but you could hear the moans and groans once the action started. The lower levels at the beginnings of the scenes were a nuisance but not something that got in the way too badly.

Body of Review: There are a great many people who think Sin City's journey into gonzo via their Mayhem line of DVDs is a waste of time, especially considering the competition from industry heavyweights Evil Angel, Red Light District and scores of others but I tend to dismiss such claims since there's a market for everything these days and the company has had its share of successes. While I doubt they'll ever be a first stop for me, I've noticed a lot of decent reviews for their product (many of which weren't by the same old shills that love everything too) and their contract directors tend to show some glimmer of creativity on a regular basis. My latest review of one of their titles is of Assploitations 4, a title that led me to believe the same anal action taking place in Assploitations 2 would continue. Let's face it; I had a lot of unresolved questions after seeing that earlier volume in the series and wanted some answers, or else! Would the lovely, if not physically perfect, Aurora Snow go any further in her quest to showcase ass? Would the performers go over and above the usual circus act sex they have become known for at so many other companies? I had to know so I picked this one up and away I went. Here's what I found:

Scene One: Aurora, starting off with a bit of a bondage theme, began the scene tied to a chain spider web in a dark dungeon but ended up with hotty Lauren taking charge. After some spanking and kissing, Jay was introduced for some oral pleasures. The gals double teamed him and Aurora even rimmed him as Lauren deep throated his moderate sized cock. The gals then took turns riding him, each getting some solid anal with lots of dirty talk to boot. Aurora even took a leak on him (some would say squirting) and the scene was as hot as fans of the gals would expect with lots of chemistry and energy to go with the heat.

Scene Two: Gia, one of the hotter new gals in porn, began the following scene in a jail cell but was released to give Anthony, Dick, Seth, Marco, and Vincent some pleasure. She seemed really into the action as she took them all on orally while they surrounded her and made her give them some gag-oriented blowjobs. She spit on them as she sucked away and they manhandled her accordingly. The scene turned into a more traditional gang bang with plenty of DPs and anal going on but she was tough to see as she called for them to hit it harder (I liked her throaty moans). They slapped her breasts a bit and then unloaded on her face and mouth after which she swallowed a lot of their loads. Wow!

Scene Three: Hannah, a beautiful blonde contract star at Sin City, and less attractive Asian Lucy, started off by bathing Aurora in a bathtub while wearing fishnet clothing. Aurora backed out and the two went at it until the massive Lee joined them. Like the other scenes, there was taste testing, oral and vaginal but also anal sex galore. Hannah had a few extra pounds on her frame (that looked great by the way) but was still leaner than she has been of late and the anal pounding she took was great. Scene Four: Shayna and Avy, a couple of lean brunettes that looked like generic house strippers at a low end club, played well with one another on a bed as they tried to warm up for a couple of guys, including Alex and another (uncredited) guy (probably Alex Rox). The action was about as typical as some of the other scenes, including the usual blowjob, straight and anal sex but then took a turn for the bizarre and had some DPP (double pussy penetration). If you like more conventional DPs, there were some of those too but the scene lacked much chemistry and proved to be the weakest link in the chain in terms of energy, heat and chemistry.

Scene Five: Aurora, all locked up to a couple of posts in the dungeon, took on the muscular Marcus as he used a metal paddle to spank her and otherwise toy with the young gal. He released her to blow him and she was soon riding his meat pole like it was the only thing in her life worth doing in both her pussy and ass. She gave it a lot of taste testing and deep throated him to orgasm, making the scene very heated throughout. They had a lot of chemistry and energy with a solid amount of heat for fans of the performers as well as interracial. Yum!

Summary: Assploitations 4 didn't answer all my questions but it certainly gave me what I was looking for; attractive women doing anything they could to show off their anal skills. The series still needs work on the technical end of things but it was worth a rating of Recommended or better depending on how much you enjoy the cast members taking male members up their asses. From a reviewer's standpoint, I'd have preferred better cast ID's of the men and as a consumer I would've liked better extras but there was a lot of fuck for the buck here and a bit more spit and polish will go a long way to improve the rough edges the series has had in the past. Fans of anal sex have a lot to choose from on the shelves of their local porn emporiums but this one was worth checking out nonetheless.
