Audio/Video Quality: Jack's Playground 16 was presented in anamorphic widescreen 1.85:1 ratio color. The colors were sometimes a bit too saturated but aside from some minor grain and video noise, the show looked pretty good and never distracted from the sex taking place. The audio was presented in 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround English but the use of the audio format was not really great since most of the sound came from the center channel. While this comes as no surprise, especially since the budget of most porn movies is so small, Digital Playground is world-renowned for being on the leading edge of technology and a number of fans, myself included, appreciate their efforts.

Body of Review: Jack's Playground by director Robbie D. of Digital Playground has finally started getting some positive press (why do so many resist?) by others and that's likely due to the way the series fuses comedy with porn in a unique manner; thinking outside the box (so to speak) and having a willingness to showcase new gals that aren't into having sex with a partner just yet (few series are bold enough to have the hottest gals do only masturbation sequences). In any case, the series uses the guise of Robbie as "Jack" trying to catch hot women having sex in order to earn a place in his music videos. The latest volume I got to review was Jack's Playground 16: Make A Wish. Now Blow Me!, one I thought escaped me having seen Jack's Playground 17 only last month. I also thought this volume was good because it had several cameos by the lovely Teagan Presley, who sported her new implants (I liked them natural though). If this sounds like something you'd enjoy, read the following breakdowns of the scenes by cast and action:

Scene One: Porsha, a brunette with a bit of her curvy baby fat still on her frame, started off by sucking Roxy's penis but he had problems getting hard so a comedy bit was made up to kick him out (by having him call out another gal's name). At that point, she began sucking on a huge dildo and proceeded to have a masturbation scene for the camera. While she wasn't the hottest gal to appear in one of Robbie's movies, I'd hit it at closing time.

Scene Two: Roxy, playing a British 19 year old (well, she claimed to be 19) was wearing a maid's outfit for the next scene. I'm not usually a fan of pantyhose but she managed to change my mind a bit. Mark was the lucky stud this time and she proved her sexual talent for cleaning a guy's pipes here. She has long been an exceptional oral talent but that's not her only specialty; she can also do anal with the best of them (almost as good as Katja). He stretched her ass out with an anal butt plug before the anal assault began, using a couple toys to enjoy the process. She also provided an energetic fuck with her pantyhose on and I doubt anyone would be able to convince me that she wasn't having a great time here.

Scene Three: Ashley, the blonde in the middle of the front DVD cover, was up next in one of the series' masturbation scenes inside a car in public. Her wholesome look combined with her beautiful face and hot body made this a winner scene although I'd join most of you in saying that I'd like to see this 19 year old in a full scene (and not just "wearing an eye patch").

Scene Four: Lee, an okay looking gal with a nice body and pleasing face, claimed to be from Arkansas (pronounced here as "Are Kansas") before having a scene with a guy practically old enough to be her grandfather, Tyce, on a bed. Her oral was slow and sensual and the boning wasn't bad but the couple lacked chemistry and enough energy to make me go back for seconds (sloppy or otherwise).

Scene Five: Taylor, one of the most tricked out cuties in the porn business in terms of her willingness to do it all with a smile on her face, and Nick, had a scene in a motel room in the boonies. Sadly, the scene was oral and vaginal only but at least she actively participated in the scene and didn't just lie back and let the old guy do all the work. It ended with a moderate sized load to her face and wasn't bad, just weaker than it should have been. I'll admit that I liked her picture on the left hand side of the front DVD cover but it wasn't her best photograph either.

Scene Six: Tereza, a hotty with darker hair and an all natural body, was up next in a masturbation scene for Robbie. She's the gal on the right hand side of the front DVD cover and I really thought her DSL's were great (dick sucking lips). This is yet another gal I'd like to see more of in the future since she had a bit of playfulness missing in too many others these days.

Scene Seven: Isabella, a slutty brunette with a few extra pounds that looked good on her (contrary to popular belief, anorexia isn't sexy or fun), and the mighty Evan were up next in the final scene of the show. He was dressed like a flamer in a pink feather outfit and she had on slutwear similar to what a lot of high school gals wear. They went at it on the couch and her oral skills were very nicely honed, with her even doing some no hands blowing before he gave her some penis in her pussy. It was a fun ride with plenty of energy and heat so I thought it was well worth watching more than once.

Summary: Jack's Playground 16 was worth a rating of Recommended for the attractive cast, the variety of action, and the playful manner in which the gals carried on for Jack's camera. I'd still like to see more footage and better extras included in the series (like companion spin off series Teen America) but as a change of pace, I can appreciate Robbie's creativity and way he gives more than just a formulaic look at porn. The technical values were much better than average here too so it might serve as a way of showing off your system like most porn can't. Oh, and some have asked me if you need to see all the earlier volumes to enjoy the insider jokes; my answer is no, it might help but you'll catch on quick enough by watching any volume (heck, I wish I saw all the earlier volumes myself).
