Extra's: The extras were standard for Vivid, including 5 bonus scenes from other releases (three with Savanna Samson in them) but my favorite was the 12.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Vic Alpine. There was also a short biography for Savanna, some trailers, a couple of photogalleries, a positions room, and a double sided DVD cover. Like most Vivid DVDs, there was also a bunch of forced spam at the beginning of the DVD that bugged me (phone sex commercials probably have their place but in front of the DVD is not one of them).

Audio/Video Quality: Be With Me was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as originally shot by director David Stanley. The clarity of the picture was above average for Mr. Stanley and the colors seemed accurate too. There was little of the video noise and grain I've long associated with his work and this was a favorable development to say the least. Sadly though, the composition of most scenes seemed substantially less flattering to the women than most of his contemporary directors with an abundance of close up shots and lowly lit scenes to detract from their usual good looks. The audio was presented in stereo English and had little worth mentioning other than you could hear the vocal moans and the music didn't suck as badly as Stanley's usual movies.

Body of Review: Savanna Samson is one of my favorite Vivid Interactive contract gals due to the way she presents herself on and off camera as well as her great smile and body. Long known as the Vivid girl most able to compete on her own terms (even doing anal in her scenes), Savanna has proven to have the staying power many of her peers lacked. That said, her latest release for Vivid is a little feature known as Be With Me where she plays the sexual lead to Voodoo's acting lead. He has visions of the lovely Savanna wherever he goes and it causes him some measure of stress as he fantasizes seeing her in action all over the place. Like most attempts at direction by director David Stanley (allegedly fired by Vivid for a host of reasons, including lack of talent), the writing was lame and the technical aspects of the scenes showed what amount to a lack of understanding of what works in terms of heat. While I hate to see what damage he does at his new home, Wicked Pictures (I can only guess what he has on someone over there), I hope performers like Savanna are given better treatment by heterosexual directors Vivid hires to replace him (likely increasing the heat). The movie itself did have a few bright moments and fans of Savanna's will likely want to check this one out so here's a brief look at the scenes to give you an idea of what took place:

Scene One: Nicole, a busty blonde with a great set of…sexual skills (not to mention breasts), was up first with real life hubby Voodoo in a diner scene where she showed him that her waitressing skills were well worth a big tip. Her energetic performance was as great as ever and the dirty talk she employed to milk his nuts made me as hot as the visuals. The camera angles and composition of the shots here weakened it somewhat but I still liked watching her (okay, so I'm a slavering fanboy). The sex included oral and vaginal only with her jerking him off at a close.

Scene Two: Charmane, an attractive Asian gal with a tight, lean body, was up next in an office tryst with Randy (after he punched out Voodoo for looking at her breasts). The scene revolved mainly around oral with a straight screw and wasn't bad either. Foot fetish fans might enjoy that he jerked off onto her feet at the end but overall, it was a by the numbers scene.

Scene Three: Savanna, looking as healthy as ever, had the next scene with Grant in the bathroom while Voodoo watched them go at it. Her blowjob was nice but his initial oral on her looked cramped and confused (likely due to the setting). I liked her lingerie and energy but the heavy-handed manner in which the scene was edited really detracted from the action as she rode him. It ended when he popped on her breasts and she sucked him off a little in a post coital moment.

Scene Four: Savanna, still looking better than she did on the front DVD cover, gave homeless Jerry a blowjob in an alleyway while Voodoo watched. He reciprocated and went down on her, even rimming her to a near orgasm, before they boned like teenagers. I thought the camera spent too much time on his sweaty face and the breast pop shot was not what most consumers care to see. It wasn't bad but still something of a waste of talent considering Savanna's passionate nature.

Scene Five: Savanna, amazingly up in a third scene in a row, took on both Mario and Franco on a couch while Voodoo watched (of course since it was the guiding, and lame, theme of the movie). The men wore hats (a bowler and a top hat) while Savanna wore some nice lingerie, as they tended to one another's needs. Her oral was again splendid and they didn't do badly either but her energetic screwing was the best part of the scene. Fans will like that she did a DP (double penetration) with lots of anal as she masturbated but the way the scene used so many close-ups was problematic (unless you like looking at man ass as much as David Stanley seems to).

Summary: Be With Me is far from David Stanley's worst efforts for Vivid Interactive and fans of Savanna Samson have long understood the limitations of those directing her during her contract so I'm going to rate this one as a Rent It. Even with a lack of proper direction, Savanna looked great and her ability to pull off some heated sexual antics managed to give me enough to go on for a bit of personal pleasure. The extras weren't bad if you don't have the other releases the bonus scenes were from and the overall package was okay.
