Extra's: For me, the best extra was a 29.5 minute Behind the Scenes feature with all the gals and cast. It had a lot to like and some silly moments between the scenes for those who enjoy seeing the performers outside of the sex (though there was some sex here too). I also liked the 7.5 minute session of extra sex with Natalli on the bed with her three black studs that was listed as a bonus scene. While it wasn't as well made as the full scene with her, it still had a lot to offer and if she ever develops a fan base, they'll want to see it. There was also a fetish menu, a trailer, a couple of photogalleries, a filmography, a cast list, and a coupon for the Las Vegas Fashionistas show by John Stagliano.

Audio/Video Quality: Black Pipe Layers 4 was presented in the regular 1.33:1 full frame ratio that most porn is shot in these days. The colors were decent and the biggest problem with the visual aspects of the show were the lighting being off at times and the corresponding amount of grain and video noise that resulted. Yes, there were moments where the focus was lost a little and the composition of the shots lacked finesse but I thought it looked better than Justin's first two volumes in the series done at another company (before Evil Angel hired him as a director). The audio was about average for a gonzo production and the guys did most of the talking although I did notice that the music came out of the left channel while the vocals came out of the right channel at least once. At least I can't say that there was no separation between the channels…

Body of Review: As Evil Angel attempts to regain market share from some of the upstart gonzo companies busting their way into porn, they have begun to employ a variety of directors that fit in well with the EA scheme of the world. By that, I mean people that love ass nearly as much as company founder John Stagliano, and are able to present it on DVD in a fashion to his liking. In order to address the interracial crowd's needs, they hired Justin Slayer, the only black director currently employed by Evil Angel, who could truly give them the black man's experience close up and personal. Rumors about them hiring Lexington Steele were proven false (for the record, I like his style better although he still shares a number of the unpolished directing techniques Justin has) and fans of interracial will now have two places to go when searching for some fun. Justin's latest release is Black Pipe Layers 4, a continuation of his series from Exquisite. The quotes on the front and back covers said things like "Ravaging White Women Into Submission", "Even Harder!", and "Man, We Twisted These White Bitches Up!" so you have an idea of the thematic values taking place here. If this is your kind of thing, you'll enjoy the proceedings a whole lot so here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast and action:

Scene One: Janet, the hot brunette on the upper most right hand corner of the front DVD cover (with the light streak in her hair), was up first, initially walking through the streets in a form fitting black dress that looked fabulous on her lean body. Her long, strong legs and ass were the perfect way to start the movie as she entered a building, stripped down, and encountered Boz, Nat, and Justin after teasing the camera. The setting was a plain bedroom loft and it began with oral but quickly progressed to some DP action where she pumped back as though possessed. There was a bit of taste testing (PTM, ATM) and she said little, preferring to let her body do the talking in this energetic scene.

Scene Two: Nikki, a very attractive looking blond with an even better looking body than Janet, was up next, wearing a yellow bikini and shawl as she teased the camera in a barren entryway. She's the gal on the lower middle of the front DVD cover with her well rounded ass facing the viewer in butt floss. Her tease sequence wasn't as heated but Boz, Nat, and Justin didn't seem to mind as they engaged at full warp speed with her on a large blue couch. If you like seeing a curvy blonde taking on three willing black men (rather than the other way around), you'll like the way she fucked and sucked her way into their lusty hearts. The one thing a few of you might care about though is she wasn't as sexually skilled as some of the other gals here, sometimes just barely holding on as they offered up their black pipes to her but she did manage to take the DP action fairly well and I had to give her some credit as better looking gals are rarely as able or willing to do as good a job sexually.

Scene Three: Lucy, a skinny brunette with an all natural body, was up next as she walked through the streets before getting home to shower herself for the scene. While I like curvier gals more, I loved the way she lathered up her body, especially her ass, in the tease footage. Boz, Nat, and Justin soon joined her in the bed and I had to admit that she was gifted sexually. She's the gal in the upper right hand corner wearing the black top, just underneath Janet, showing her ass to full effect if you care about looks. In any case, the guys took turns getting blown and boning her from behind on the bed to begin the action, eventually progressing to anal with a DP in which she actively contributed while the screwing went on. She showed some passion and even enjoyment out of the scene, elevating it from a mechanical screw (if just a bit). She seemed one of the more gifted oral queens here as well.

Scene Four: Carol, a cute brunette with a limited ability to speak English, broke the formula by giving an interview on the couch first, telling Justin she had been in porn for about 9 months before taking on Boz, Nat, and Justin. Her actual scene began with the words "black slut" and "black dick only" written on her legs and ass, with the guys jumping in to get some of her soon afterwards. This began as one of the slower scenes and never really progressed all that much as she seemed unable to handle them as easily as the other gals (making noises like she was hurting and them asking if she was okay more than once). She did everything the other gals did, including the DP but this scene will only appeal to guys wanting to see a less experienced gal having sex. Oh, and she was the gal on the left hand side of the front DVD cover holding her breasts with the garish makeup.

Scene Five: Natalli, the hot blonde on the right hand side of the front DVD cover wearing pink hot pants, was last up as she teased the camera with her lean, lithe body and attractive face. After the tease was through, the scene jumped right in to her sucking them off in turn (a little jarring) with the same trio of Boz, Nat, and Justin to make the scenes consistent. Sexually, she was as gifted as any of the others; doing everything they did, but the scene was another one where the intensity was a bit less heated as the guys did much of the work. The DP action was present to but limited in terms of how long (and how strong) it lasted though she seemed to be able to take it fairly well as a "pure freak".

Summary: Black Pipe Layers 4 might not have answered all the nagging questions left over from watching the third volume (I never saw it) and the levels of heat and energy might not have been overly consistent but fans of interracial, hardcore action will probably agree with me that the DVD deserves a rating of Recommended. I wouldn't advise bringing a copy to the local KKK meeting or even a Baptist convention (being two completely different groups, I assure you), but the action included anal and DPs in every scene with some of the most attractive European gals I've ever seen Justin working with. This is the benefit of him working with Evil Angel; getting bigger budgets in which to seek out hot pussy wherever it might lead him, so check it out if you are so inclined.
