Extra's: The only real extras here were a couple of Model Diaries which are short interviews of some of the cast (in this case a 5.5 minute long volume with Penny Flame and a 6 minute volume with Jessica Jaymes). There was a couple of commercials too but better extras would go a long way to making fans happy.

Audio/Video Quality: Alien Love Fantasy was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by various uncredited directors. The lighting was excellent, contributing to a lack of grain and other visual flaws in most cases, and the colors were exceptionally accurate. The composition of the shots also managed to invoke some extra heat but the action was very limited in terms of what took place most of the time to make that really help. I saw no compression artifacts and the settings were generally nice. The audio was presented in stereo English although there wasn't much separation between the channels (in the model diaries, the sound came from the left speakers) and the dynamic range of the vocals was droned out by the innocuous soundtrack.

Body of Review: As lesbian movies continue to make something of a come back these days, I'm struck by the vast variety of styles on the market, from the lighter Big Toys No Boys, WTBA 16, and Girl Crazy , to the vastly harder material of My Ass Is Haunted, The Connasseur, and Fucking Girls. With such a nice choice of lesbian loving to go around, it's nice to see pleasant little romps such as the vignette driven Alien Love Fantasy released by the infamous Danni Ashe as an alternative. With a series of light hearted scenes to play with, here's a look at the action by cast and setting per scene:

Scene One: Alien Love Fantasy: Kelle Marie, wearing a purple wig as on the front DVD cover, and Justine Joli (Swan), in a Star Trek styled form fitting bodysuit, meet in an intergalactic bar of sorts and hit it off at first sight. The sexual tension was evident from the beginning of the scene to the end as they kissed and worked each other up by rubbing one another. The emphasis was on muff diving and 69ing one another in a variety of positions on the purple couch with an increasing tempo as the scene progressed. I thought they looked good together although it was tamer than I thought it would be from the description on the front cover.

Scene Two: The Groupie: Devon Michaels, playing a bit of a guitarist, seduced star struck Vicky Vette playing a groupie in her loft. I thought the age gap lines were silly since Vicky is the older of the two but porn isn't known for having the best writing. In any case, they made out on the couch and licked one another all over as they stripped off their clothes; eventually going down on one another as though they were old flames. I haven't seen much of Vicky lately so it was good to see her in action again but the scene was also kind of limited in what took place.

Scene Three: The Dagger of Desire: Friday, Tanya Danielle, Jasmine Raff, and Justine Joli had a mystical adventure where they were forced to seek out a magical artifact (the dagger) as part of a quest. The scene was actually two scenes put together with Friday taking on Tanya and Justine with Jasmine in another part of a house. Both couples worked well together but my overall impression of the scene was that it lacked focus and the gals seemed too mechanical for me.

Scene Four: Fly Me: Jessica Jaymes, playing an instructor of flight attendants with Penny Flame her wacky trainee in this comedic send-up to a great many bad television shows. These two brunettes looked very good together and fans of foot fetish action will want to note that the gals engaged in a fair amount of that too. I've seen both of them elsewhere but have to admit that they looked really good here, especially in their skimpy red, white & blue outfits. The action was otherwise similar to the other scenes in how they licked and sucked one another off but I enjoyed it a lot.

Scene Five: Boardroom Beauties: Monica Sweetheart and Nikki Loren, acting as junior executives in a company, were taken to task by their boss Kelly Madison, for doing a bad job in their department. They showed what they were really hired for; some well known talents at pleasuring other women, and the three engaged in a ménage a trio in the corporate boardroom. Kelly's huge breasts provided a nice contrast to the far younger gals but the playfulness of the scene was still less than it could have been. Licking and sucking were the order of the day and this scene varied from the others in that it used a large plastic dildo to get Monica (and friends) off.

Scene Six: The Naughty Chauffeur: Sandra Shine and Laurie Wallace were last up in a scenario where the female chauffeur polished up the car in a nice tease sequence while her boss get revved up for some action. Interestingly, the sex took place by a gazebo after some more footage by a nice pool in the back yard but the initial editing weakened the scene for me more than it should have. The gals looked nice but the moves were mechanical and this detracted from the pleasure that "could have been". If you like lipstick lesbian light scenes, this will drive you crazy but it was all gloss & glitter with little substance.

Summary: Alien Love Fantasy isn't the best lesbian release I've watched recently but fans of the genre will want to take a look at it as a title worth a rating of Rent It if nothing else. There wasn't a lot of circus act or extreme sex taking place but the make up, the lighting, and a number of technical considerations made this pleasing eye candy and the amount of fuck for the buck (albeit, light fuck for the buck) was pretty good. Having noticed the advertisement on the front DVD cover saying the material was "too hard for Danni.com", I was left to wonder how softcore that website is almost as much as how much I wanted to spend some quality time with the cast of the release.
