Extra's: The best extra was a 32.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Brother Love that started with Venus taking about things like her oral fixation and ending with Kaylynn masturbating. It was a lot of fun to watch and I've long enjoyed Jonni's BTS features. The other extras included the usual cast list, filmographies, photogallery and a weak fetish menu but left out the traditional Evil Angel director biography (perhaps because Jonni's so new to the company).

Audio/Video Quality: Bet Your Ass 2 was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color that it was shot in by director Jonni Darkko. The colors seemed a bit off, pale even, and the lighting wasn't up to par for a modern Evil Angel release but I'm willing to bet the visual aspects were influenced by it being originally made for Digital Sin, not Evil Angel. There was grain, a lot of compression artifacts, and some video noise here too but the composition of the shots was usually flattering to the cast. I hope his later efforts will look better than this one since that was one of the things holding him back at his last place of employment. The stereo English audio track was interesting on a couple of levels. The music played out of the left speaker while the vocals played out of the right speaker, the vocals being sometimes interfered with by background noises. The vocals seemed hollow and the music droned so I can safely say that you won't be giving your home theatre a workout with this DVD.

Body of Review: Jonni Darkko is one of the newest members of the Evil Angel team, brought over from Digital Sin by director John "Buttman" Stagliano himself in the not too distant past. For the most part, I've seen a bit of a variance in quality of Jonni's output over the years but I can admit that when he gets something right, it's often very hot. That said, today's review is of his latest release for Evil Angel, Bet Your Ass 2, the sequel to a DVD I really wish I had seen. The theme of the show is to provide a lot of anal sex with some of the more attractive gals in the porn world, and I thought it wasn't a bad show overall. Here's a look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that every scene had some anal action taking place as advertised:

Scene One: Venus, a brunette with a nice ass and willing attitude, was up first wearing a black outfit that fit her seductive moves as she teased the camera while some droning music played on in the background. Mark Ashley got to play with her after the masturbation sequence in the barren room but this was far from her best work. She admitted to having an oral fixation in the BTS feature and she proved it on camera as she licked and sucked him off repeatedly during the scene (even doing the taste testing so many of you perverts like). The emphasis was on the anal sex though and unfortunately, she let him do most of the work; making the scene somewhat lamer than I had expected.

Scene Two: Kelly Wells, was up next wearing a spiked collar to go with her see through black outfit as Mark Davis treated her like a dog. There wasn't much tease footage this time, weakening the scene for me, but Mark's a talented guy so I knew she'd be put through the paces fairly well. He spanked her and readied her for the anal with a large dildo with her doing a better job than Venus during much of her scene. There was a fair amount of taste testing and some major gape action with her grunting and groaning as though he was tearing her apart. It was a decent scene but looked like it was made for his old company.

Scene Three: Taylor Rain, the lovely brunette with the youthful face, lean body, and sexual stamina we rarely see in the "real" world, was up next in a heated scene with Mark Ashley. She began with some serious tease footage, using a mirror to showcase her lovely ass as she prepared it for the scene. Tasting herself off her own hand, she used a large dildo nicely to get me ready for some fun but it wasn't until Mark joined her that she really let loose. He did almost all the work here too, limiting the appeal for me of the scene but he did such a good job that I really couldn't bitch too loudly about it. The anal went balls deep and ended with a load of goo on her ass and pussy that was allowed to run down her crotch to her mouth (some minor swallowing here too). This was the best scene of the bunch by this point and it wasn't even close to her best work.

Scene Four: Tiffany Mynx, the hotty featured on the front DVD cover in a red outfit, was up next and I was happy since the previous scenes were kind of generic to me. She was an anal queen long before the current crop of them rode into our perverted little hearts and her sweet, heart shaped, ass looked fantastic. If ever there was a person that could prove a few years is no roadblock to sexual desire, this would be the gal. Mark Ashley was the lucky stiff (and I do mean "stiff) to get to work with her here as she started out with precious little tease footage before blowing him. Keeping in mind an older gal has to work a little harder to please the hyper critical, youth oriented audience these days, she toyed with him in a manner designed to really enhance the quality of the scene. She wasted no time after that to take him between her lovely breasts and titty fuck him a little before they started the pumping action we all came to see. He plugged both holes and while the vaginal showed her as more energetic, it was well done throughout the scene. How could anyone not love that ass of hers? She did some ATM and it ended with her taking the usual facial but she didn't swallow as expected.

Scene Five: Kaylynn, the hotty on the upper part of the front DVD cover wearing a fishnet outfit was up next as she teased the camera before taking care of Brian Pumper. I'll admit I'm biased in her favor since I've been up close and personal to her lovely ass but anyone could see why I hold her in such regard when watching her in action. She used a glass dildo to spread herself open and then tasted it with some ATM antics before the interracial action with Brian began. He licked her first and then proceeded to tear into her tight ass as she begged for more. In all, it was a hot scene with plenty to like and even surpassed Tiffany's scene in terms of heat, energy, and chemistry. I'm still surprised to this day that I don't see her in very many movies. In any case, she did some more ATM, he spanked her a little, and she ended it by taking his load from her crotch and playing with it.

Summary: Bet Your Ass 2 was far from director Jonni Darkko's best work so I'm giving it a rating of Rent It based as much on the lack of energy that most of the cast had to the weaker technical aspects. I think this was a release he had been working on before leaving Digital Sin and it shows in many ways. I had to give credit to some of the cast though since Kaylynn, Taylor Rain, and Tiffany Mynx were very appealing to me (even if not doing their best work). The extras added some measure of value too as over 30 minutes of Behind the Scenes material will always be better than some generic material tossed in without thought. I look forward to seeing his newer work though as I've long believed he has a lot of potential and Evil Angel is probably the best place for him to develop as a director.
