Extra's: The best extra here was the inclusion of a 9.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature. It had some of the interaction between the cast during their scenes and plenty of nudity so it merited a worthwhile look from me. There was also a photogallery of the cast and a second photogallery of Gina Lynn, but they really didn't do much for me (and neither did the handful of trailers.

Audio/Video Quality: Top Notch Anal Bitches was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as it was originally shot by tag team directors Travis Knight and Gina Lynn. The colors were accurate, the lighting usually very solid, and the amount of grain minimal. I saw few compression artifacts or video noise and only some of the camera angles/composition of a few shots per scene were really problematic. I also didn't care for the over-produced manner in which each scene started but that's a matter of personal taste and I don't want to bag on the movie too harshly because of it. The stereo English audio track was okay and I could plainly hear the vocals of the cast at all times (as well as some background noise too). The techno music sounded like the junk Gina dances to at clubs (I've seen her act and it's a good one) but it wasn't a factor once the couples got down to business.

Body of Review: One of the downsides to the porn industry's contract performer system is that it locks up gals from being all they can be and making scenes for whomever might do the best job. Case in point: Gina Lynn; a blonde stripper that has been in small bit parts on cable and recently finished her contract at Pleasure to sign another at Club (limiting her exposure in porn even longer). Currently, she co-directs movies with her significant other, Travis Knight, and has a distribution deal with Exquisite to release them but due to her contract; she can't participate in the movies (what a pain!). Her latest release is the third in a series called Top Notch Anal Bitches, differing only in that the scenes are supposed to focus on anal sex rather than the more mundane stuff we're all used to. The scenes were not the best I've watched of late but there was some good material here for the stroke fans appreciation and the cast was diverse enough to please most of you. Without further ado, here's a look at the scenes by cast and sexual action, to see if it meets your needs:

Scene One: Vanessa Lane, the gal in the center of the front DVD cover wearing the paisley lingerie, was up first to establish the formula by which the two directors would follow. In short, while some droning disco music played in the background, she masturbated, teased and stripped until her partner, Jean Val Jean, joined her for some kissing. During what amounted to an overly edited MTV music video (that kind of cutting away is best done by experts folks), they looked pretty good but it wasn't until the slow/fast motion stopped and the couple got down to business that I became interested. She gave a good blowjob with deep throat action and then he started boning her pussy. She over did it a bit with the faked vocals but I couldn't help but like the action (except when he choked her). She did some PTM and showed her ability to act like a human pretzel before opening her ass for the anal. She was energetic throughout the scene and after some more anal (including ATM), he jerked off to her crotch. It had a lot of rough edges but I liked it.

Scene Two: Kelly Kline, the lovely cutie on the upper left hand side of the front DVD cover, started off her scene wearing the same pink lingerie she had on the cover. In many ways, I thought she was the most physically attractive gal of the movie and she followed the minimal formula nicely. Her partner was her real life husband Richard Raymond, an admittedly interesting looking guy (he needs a body shave, a lot of time in the gym, and a stylist) and she dominated him during the scene by forcing him to repeatedly do oral after some of the positions. The main focus here was vaginal sex but she did anal as well and kept talking during the scene (he was thankfully quiet). There was a fair amount of energy between them and the scene was among their best to date but that's sort of a half-hearted compliment (I've met them, like them both a lot, but still feel obligated to call it like I see it). The leopard print couch was an interesting backdrop for the two and fans of attractive women taking charge will like it (there wasn't as much taste testing here though).

Scene Three: Trina Michaels, the blonde on the lower left hand corner of the front DVD cover, was up next, sporting some lovely lingerie as she pleasured herself on a bed. The tease was far too short for this cutie but Tommy Gun made it clear that he'd make up for it by giving her some swell head. She reciprocated by giving him some gagging oral (some of the best I've seen lately too) to get him ready for the boning action. She was another vocal queen when being screwed and the energy was nearly surpassed by a sense of chemistry I got from them in action. The vaginal sex was very heated but the anal seemed more than she could enjoy (even doing a technical DP and some ATM). If you really want an anal queen, look elsewhere but she was a solid performer overall and I look forward to seeing more of her.

Scene Four: Shy Love, the lean brunette on the upper right hand side of the front DVD cover wearing bikini styled underwear that accentuated her curves nicely, was up next. She had a stylish little introduction sequence too and apparently Travis Knight agreed with me since he was her partner this time. I'm not a fan of her implants and unless a director is really on top of his game, she can look slightly creepy, but that was not the case here. The oral between them was great and the vaginal boning very well done but she really shined in the anal (more than anyone else in the movie). Maybe it was her trying to please the director or maybe they had some spark of chemistry together but whatever it was, the couple was great together. It ended with a facial and some taste testing but the scene was a winner for me with sweet replay value.

Scene Five: Penny Flame, the gal on the lower right hand side of the front DVD cover wearing black lingerie and showing off her lovely ass to full effect was last up. She looked like she could be Jewel De'Nyle's kid sister (and that's a big compliment coming from me) and I knew she'd rock during her scene by the way it started on the balcony. When she took the act inside, she jumped on the leopard print couch to masturbate and prepare for her scene with Kurt Lockwood (a very capable guy when he sets his mind to it). She orally pleased him in a heated fashion, even licking his ass a bit, and he reciprocated by preparing her holes for the oncoming action. The vaginal sex was energetic with several positions for the fans so I was kind of surprised that they moved to a large bed for the advertised anal. Sadly, if any anal action was taking place, I couldn't tell because the camera angle started to pull back and rest in a long shot of the couple! Talk about a sucky way to end an anal movie! It finished up with a facial but I was left hanging and that's not a way to treat a consumer.

Summary: Top Notch Anal Bitches was a mixed bag of sexual tricks and I think it's worth a rating of Rent It overall. I was leaning towards recommending it but the lack of anal in the last scene and the variations in sexual energy and heat detracted from the fine cast and otherwise decent value. Don't get me wrong, I think a lot of people will enjoy this a bunch but it could've been so much better with more spit and polish that I felt obligated to be fair. I was also put off somewhat by the fact that Gina Lynn wasn't in the release although I understand how contracts work. I hope future volumes of the show reach the potential of the talented direction. In all, I'd say that Top Notch Anal Bitches was fun to watch and worth a look.
