Extra's: Evil Angel has been aggressively marketing themselves of late as a company that is very DVD friendly so it should come as no surprise that this two disc set had a lot of extras that added plenty of value to the set. The best extra by most accounts would be the inclusion of 47.5 minutes of extra sex footage. Let's face it, while some of us like seeing the performers goofing around or acting silly in bloopers of BTS features, who can sensibly claim more sex isn't a prime extra? There was also a set of trailers, a photogallery, a fetish menu, a biography for Jules Jordan, a cast list, filmographies for some of the gals, and a list of websites for those who care too.

Audio/Video Quality: Flesh Hunter 8 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as originally shot by director Jules Jordan. The scenes varied in terms of quality but with so much here to watch, you could skip anything that didn't look quite right if it bothered you that much. There was grain in many scenes and some weaker then average lighting at times but the colors appeared accurate, the composition of most shots solid, and the amount of video noise minimal. I did see a fair amount of compression artifacts on each of my DVD players but most of the time, it looked related to scanning back to revisit something I had already watched (it sometimes takes a few tries to capture all the action in writing folks, sorry). The stereo audio was about the same as always; nothing special with minimal separation and limited dynamic range, but I could hear the vocals fine and there wasn't enough music in the DVD set to worry about.

Body of Review: There are a great many directors in porn these days so it should come as no surprise that the cream rises to the top of the food chain in most cases. Such is the case with directing legend Jules Jordan, named Best Director of 2004, for many of his works released that year (and I saw a couple after the wards that were even better!). One of his series that fans like is Flesh Hunter, a show that has just enough kink to keep even jaded old farts like me happy with tons of fuck for the buck on display. The latest volume in the series is Flesh Hunter 8, a volume with even more material than ever before. Almost a challenge to other companies in terms of what it offered; the show managed to bring together a healthy sampling of some of the best the porn world has to offer and this is why it is yet another reason to check out Mr. Jordan's works. I'm a latecomer to his brand of direction but as he continues to improve his craft, it's no wonder that his releases sell like crazy and if you need a reason to buy this one, read the following breakdown of the scenes by cast and actions:

Scene One: Alexis Malone, the blonde in the upper middle of the front DVD cover, started off the movie wearing a black leather body suit and a flesh colored strap on dildo that she seemed entranced with before she walked in on a blindfolded Kylie Wilde, the gal Alexis was giving head to on the front cover as well as being on the right hand side in the pink string outfit. Kurt Lockwood was sitting back and jerking off as he watched what was unfolding and Alexis gave him a few strokes for full effect. The gals then took turns getting hammered by Kurt as well as giving oral to him and each other for a long time. Alexis gave Kylie a good boning for kicks too but the meat puppet did a better job here. It ended with a double facial and the scene was very solid in most ways.

Scene Two: Gina Lynn, the blonde in a black fetish outfit on the lower right hand side of the front DVD cover, was up next in a scene punctuated by some serious tease footage. While her moves on a real stage are better (yes, I've seen her strip at a club), she managed to add something special to the early part of this scene by virtue of her talented gyrations. Jules Jordan, not being a dope, kept her for himself this time as she stuck her ass in the air like she didn't care what he did to it. Eventually, he jerked her off and she gave him some head but it was the heated screwing that worked the best this time. I'll be the first to admit that she's not the best performer in the business but she looks like Christina Aguilera (a little bit) with a larger ass so she appeals to me more than a little bit. Okay, she sat on his face, let him spank her and otherwise ride her in a bunch of positions and the net effect of the scene was that even I needed a break afterwards (I'm completely unapologetic about it too). I think Jules would sympathize with me too given the fact that he launched a huge load onto her face here, easily the biggest of the movie. Whew!

Scene Three: Tiffany Mynx, the hot redhead bending over on the middle left side of the front DVD cover, was up next, wearing a silvery outfit that really accentuated her ass and a sheer top. I'll admit to thinking she's an excellent example of established performers that have long been able to make me happy and I'm glad she returned to porn after a brief exodus not long ago. She began her scene a little grosser than I prefer to see, using a squeeze bulb to fill her ass with milk, push it out, and then lick it off the floor (and furniture). Other than that, I thought she turned in an excellent scene with studly duo Brian Pumper and Frank Gun, a porn world version of Ebony & Ivory that most fans probably think live in perfect harmony. The guys really put her through the paces here and I thought she had more than few orgasms due to their efforts, with oral, vaginal, anal with DP and lots of taste testing (PTM & ATM) going on. In all, it was a very energetic and heated scene with tons of replay value thanks to all those involved.

Scene Four: Christie Lee, the blonde in a white outfit in the upper left hand side of the front DVD cover, has been a fan favorite for many of you since first hitting the porn scene. I haven't always been on board the Christie cruise myself since she hasn't been a consistently solid performer but her white top, fishnet stockings and stripper footwear helped make her a winner here. She came over Jules' house to pick up a copy of Feeding Frenzy 4 and ended up getting into another flick, one centering on black guys with white women. After seeing it, she ended up having a scene with huge Mandingo, a guy that could probably split rails with his penis. In short, it was nearly as wide around as her arm and she claimed to "be in love" when she worked it over. She gave him as good a lube job as possible before taking him on in her dripping wet pussy. It almost looked as though he'd do as she asked of him "to rip her open" but she rode him like a cowgirl at the rodeo with a passion rarely seen in porn. Yikes!

Scene Five: Tiffany Holiday, the brown haired cutie on the lower left hand side of the front DVD cover wearing red lingerie, was up next as she masturbated for Jules in a chair. Once she left a snail trail on the chair, Jules got muscular Arnold Schwartzenpecker and wimpy Scotty Lyons to work her over. She had a lovely body and good attitude towards having sex on camera for money, making this a scene with potential. The sex included oral, vaginal, anal and a DP or two but she wasn't as energetic as many of the other cast members so the scene dragged for me a bit more than it should have. In all, with some much else going on, I could forgive the movie this one weaker scene but it wasn't terrible, just mechanical to me.

Scene Six: Alaura Eden, a brunette cutie with a round ass as seen in the upper left hand corner of the front DVD cover, began her scene with director Jules Jordan by wearing a see through black top, matching stockings, and a striped skirt with no panties. One of the strongest points of the scene was how she playfully teased Jules with a knowing glance; recognizing she was turning on a great many others at home at the same time. They rubbed one another and soon enough, she was blowing him with a vigor not often seen outside of an Evil Angel release. He then blindfolded her and put her in some fur-lined handcuffs before spreading her ample ass with some toys. He then gave her a technical DP, spending lots of time in her pussy, before getting to tap that ass. The scene lasted nearly 40 minutes and ended with some ATM and swallowing but it wasn't the circus act sex action that made it a winner so much as the energetic nature of the performers and the chemistry they displayed.

Scene Seven: Merrick Morgan, a blonde that reminded me of Bo Derrick in her prime (without the cornrows too), was up last as this newcomer teased the camera in a mink coat, jeweled neck collar, and a matching miniskirt in the loft near some windows. At first, I thought director Jules Jordan was going too slowly but I soon figured out he was making the most of this gal as it was her first scene. She masturbated after the tease and as soon as she was dripping wet, Jules showed her his meat lollipop to allow her a taste. Her oral was more sensual than the other gals in the cast and she seemed to view it more as a warming up exercise than a main event and the two were going at it like dogs in heat soon afterwards. Between the multitude of positions, she gave him some PTM tasting and it ended with a facial of decent proportions. In all, I think she showed a lot of potential and I hope to see her again soon.

Summary: Flesh Hunter 8 was easily worth a rating of Highly Recommended and fans of the cast may even think that's a little light given the variety of stuff they did as well as how much went on. In essence, there was more heated screwing on this DVD set than you'll find on almost any two discs from the competition. While Jules could work on polishing up some of the technical matters, I have no doubt that John Stagliano brought him onboard the Evil Angel bandwagon for his vision of what works in porn as well as all the little things he does so well. With several standout performances and most of the rest being first class "bone-a-thons" too, fans will find this one has more fuck for the buck than they are likely to find almost anywhere outside Evil Angel itself. Flesh Hunter 8 is enough to keep even the most jaded of you busy for a long, long time.
