Extra's: The best extra for me was the inclusion of almost 23 minutes of Behind the Scenes footage by Juan Cuba (with help from Jewel and John Nystrom) with the cast in full view. As is usually the case, PXP's BTS was AOK in most ways and added some value to the DVD. Another nice extra was a 5.5 minute long set of photoshoots with the gals of the cast. While I would've liked a longer feature here, it was still interesting to watch. The other extras were some trailers, a photogallery, a pop shot recap, and a double sided DVD cover.

Audio/Video Quality: XXX Platinum Blondes 3 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by director Jewel De'Nyle. The lighting seemed off a bit in most of the scenes, giving the cast a deeper tone than I believed them to have in real life. There was also grain because of the lighting and the focus had some minor issues too. I didn't see any compression artifacts or video noise but the picture wasn't Jewel's best looking work by a long shot. The stereo audio was about as weak as most gonzo porn with little to really appreciate given some of Jewel's recent works. There was little, if any, separation between the channels and the dynamic range was minimal.

Body of Review: One of my favorite people in porn for a long time has been the admittedly volatile Jewel De'Nyle; a woman that speaks her mind and doesn't allow idiots to walk all over her in order to curry favor by being a doormat. As a performer, she was outspoken over what she wanted to do and the same holds true now that she has graduated to being one of the most popular female directors in the jizz biz. Her latest release for her company, Platinum X Pictures, is XXX Platinum Blondes 3, the sequel to XXX Platinum Blondes 1 and XXX Platinum Blondes 2. The series focuses on blondes that like gonzo styled sex, many of which are the type of gal we'd meet at a local strip club. If you like decent direction in your gonzo porn, here's a look at what Jewel has put together for this third in the series by scene:

Scene One: Angela Stone, a gal next door type with a loose caboose, began the show by strutting around in some lingerie before taking on studly Manuel Ferrara on a bed. She gave some energetic head to him as he played with her body and then went down on her with equal vigor. The two boned passionately and she did a lot of PTM as well as rim his ass and spank him (although only once). I thought she really enjoyed the scene with him (getting off at least twice) and it ended with a pop shot to her mouth and face.

Scene Two: Roxanne Hall, a more attractive gal with a leaner body, followed the formula of tease and showcasing herself before having sex with Michael Stefano on a checkered couch. The oral was great and the vaginal sex wasn't bad but she seemed to tone it down a bit after starting off so passionately that I wondered what happened. Thankfully, she regained some heat when she called for him to poke her ass, using dirty talk to get him especially hard. From that point on, she gave it her all and the scene was solid because of it.

Scene Three: Katie Morgan, perhaps one of the cutest blondes in porn, was up next in a scene that fans will really like for all she had to offer. Her purple lingerie, lean little body, and winning smile were as seductive as could be for stud-meister Anthony Hardwood on the couch they shared. While I liked her when she had an all natural body better, she still appealed to me more than a little bit as she moaned & groaned, telling him what she liked when he went down on her. She also gave good head but it wasn't the best of the cast, preferring to really work his penis to the bone while he slammed it inside her tight pussy. Yum!

Scene Four: Trina Michaels, the curvy seductress that has been making a lot of movies lately (much to my delight), was up next on a couch with Joey Ray, a man with a plan, after an admittedly weak tease sequence. Perhaps she had an off day but I'd definitely advise her to work on the stripping routine if this was the best she had to offer. She made up for it with great oral though and if given the choice, I'd probably agree that giving a sweet blowjob was more important than a good floor show. Like the other gals, she did some PTM but she also did anal with a very vocal attitude as she was getting poked. I didn't think Reverse Cowgirl was her best position but she did ATM for the raincoaters and seemed okay with him poking her tight bottom. Scene Five: Barbara Summer, the blonde on the front DVD cover, ended the movie with a scene on a bed with studly Kurt Lockwood. Summary: XXX Platinum Blondes 3 was not the best release I've seen the lovely Jewel De'Nyle direct but it had enough fuck for the buck to warrant a rating of Recommended for fans of the cast. As with XXX Platinum Blondes 1 and
XXX Platinum Blondes 2, the technical aspects were slightly rougher than average but the cast seemed to mostly enjoy the scenes and that speaks volumes in a business designed around the smoke and mirrors of the illusory orgasm. Fans might appreciate all the anal sex or single squirting scene here but my bet is that many of you will simply enjoy watching some sexually charged, sexually skilled, performers go at it as if they hadn't screwed anyone in a long, hard, time.
