Extra's: My favorite extra was the 13+ minute long Behind the Scenes feature. It showcased Kylie Ireland and the rest of the cast & crew with a lot of fun going on. I also found the interview of Kylie Ireland interesting (where Kylie spent about 8.5 minutes telling the camera how she envisioned the concept here; breaking all the "rules" people had for her given her past with features instead of gonzo), and the text description of the gang bang was interesting as well. There was also the usual set of trailers, a director's biography, a cum shot recap, photogallery and a double sided DVD cover to round out the solid extras.

Audio/Video Quality: The Whore Next Door was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as originally shot by director Kylie Ireland. The colors and fleshtones of the movie were very accurate, the lighting appropriate, and the levels of grain minimal throughout the five scenes. The composition of most of the shots was exceptional and flattering to the entire cast but especially Kylie with some solid work done by the various camera men (including the talented Brandon Iron). In all, it didn't look perfect (I didn't think that was the goal here) but it did help convey the passion, heat and chemistry of the scenes. The stereo audio was about average for a gonzo porn so there wasn't much to mention here but you could hear the moans, groans, and only a little bit of the background noise.

Body of Review: When one thinks of hot redheads in porn, there are really only a handful that come to mind from the last thirty years. One of the best in terms of her sexual energy, sheer charm, and talented sexual abilities has been the lovely Kylie Ireland; a gal who's name derived from the Australian pop star, Kylie Minogue, and the attractive model, Kathy Ireland. I've long found both of her role models extremely pleasing on the eyes but Kylie Ireland adds something special to the mix and I think anyone that's seen her in action knows exactly what I mean. These days, she directs for Platinum X Pictures, a company known to be on the cutting edge (some would say bleeding edge) of porn, offering tremendous value in their DVD releases. In the company's 128th release, The Whore Next Door, Kylie not only produces and directs, but stars in a series of ever increasingly heated hardcore gonzo scenes that forever alter this classy lady's image from the feature/couples market to the wacky world of circus act sex. As a fan of hers for over a decade, I was very uncomfortable at the prospect of seeing Kylie go to the extreme but I couldn't look away and in the end, I'm glad I didn't. If this intrigues you, read the following breakdown of the scenes by cast and action:

Scene One: Kylie Ireland, the hot lead of each scene, was up first in a lesbian domination scene that had Venus and Katrina Kraven, tossing our lovely star on a mattress in an abandoned house (or was it an alley?). Kylie was tied up with tape over her mouth as the gals slapped, choked, and otherwise abused her (verbally as well). The gals kissed her roughly and then started sitting on her face (forcing Kylie to rim and eat them out) with some foot fetish action too. The whipped out some toys and all of them eventually got slammed vaginally and anally in a most passionate fashion. This movie was obviously not for the weak of heart.

Scene Two: Kylie Ireland, wearing some black and purple lingerie on a couch, turned to a couple of men for the next scene with Manuel Ferrera and John Strong, as her bed buddies. She blew them with vigor and otherwise offered up her pussy and ass for their pleasure, even taking a DP (with PTM and ATM to boot!). They slapped her around too but not quite as aggressively as the last scene and fans will note that she even did a bit of pissing (also called "squirting"). In short, this scene proved Kylie's critics wrong in that she did everything a gonzo queen would do and did it like she enjoyed it. Whew!

Scene Three: Kylie Ireland, initially dressed in a tiny shiny outfit that accentuated her great legs, partnered up with Kurt Lockwood in a home library that looked much like my DVD collection room. They then boned in her pussy and ass as she called for him to get harder and faster. I thought this scene also had a lot of energy but also some chemistry; even as he stepped on her head while doggy ass fucking her near the end of the scene.

Scene Four: Kylie Ireland, dressed in a black top and pink skirt, joined porn veteran Roxanne Hall, and studly Manuel Ferrera, in a bed after they got all hot & excited with Kylie doing some PTM (technically, PTOGM). Steve Holmes, late for the action, was soundly chastised by Kylie before getting to join them (he was late) and they all partnered up; switching partners as they saw fit. Each gal took a hard one in her pussy as well as ass but after the intensity of the last three scenes, this one seemed somewhat average (which it really wasn't but the ever increasing antics tend to drain you in more ways than one over time). Like the other scenes, it ended in a set of facials, the gals did DPs, and this one spiced things up with some cum swapping.

Scene Five: Kylie Ireland, Kayla Marie, Julie Knight, Van Damage, Tyler Knight, Marcos Leon, Tee Reel, Jason Horne, Steve Holmes, and John Strong all had a historical event in porn: Kylie Ireland's first true gangbang as well as her first DPP (double pussy penetration) and first DAP (double anal penetration). Kayla and Julie were mostly there to act as fluffers for the men as they took turns taking Kylie ion any way possible. If there's a more hard core scene with Kylie anywhere on Earth, I haven't heard of (or seen) it. Wow!

Summary: The Whore Next Door was something a lot of people probably thought they'd never see; a gal like Kylie Ireland going literally "all the way" into gonzo. She may be twice the age of the current "flavor of the month" gals joining porn but only a fool would deny her sexual stamina, ability and determination to prove her critics wrong. For what it's worth, even a jaded old reviewer like myself found each scene enough to get me wanting some relief so I had to take a break more than a few times while watching this collection of scenes (although I'm a big fan of hers, I still think anyone would objectively see her passion, heat, and chemistry here). From beginning to end, The Whore Next Door was well worth a rating of Highly Recommended for all it had to offer. Fans of Kylie's like myself will probably consider this the holy grail of porn in some ways but I still hold out hope that she continues to make porn of all kinds and that this is just one more door she's opened to further her own sexual discovery (her parties are some of the most interesting in the porn world I'm told but maybe this will allow people to see her in yet another light). Whatever the case may be, Kylie Ireland seems to be on another path these days and I'll be watching to see what else she has in store for a demanding audience. The Whore Next Door had more fuck for the buck than a dozen of her earlier movies; making me wonder if this might become a series for all to enjoy.
