Extra's: The best extra this time was a 15 minute bonus scene between Kelly Fuck'N Wells and an uncredited black guy (Jay B.?). He taught her about ambushes in the field and she gave up some oral, vaginal, and anal sex as a reward. It wasn't a bad scene but it got dark by the end and that's probably why it was set aside (only found via the chapter menu too). The next best extra here was the 7.5 minutes worth of deleted footage. It showed the cast and crew screwing around during the sex scenes and was funny to watch. There was also a set of photogalleries, a pop shot compilation from the scenes, some trailers, and a double sided DVD cover.

Audio/Video Quality: Survival Sluts was presented in a combination of the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as well as some parts employing a 1.85:1 ratio non-anamorphic widescreen color. I had some issues with how much camera movement was observed, how others could be seen in the scenes (from the boom mike to the guy grabbing the water bottle in one scene), and some of the grain. Most of the time though; the picture was very sharp (perhaps too sharp since the clarity magnified every flaw in the gal's looks), the colors accurate, and the composition not too bad (when the camera stopped moving). I saw some compression artifacts but there might've been some truth to the advertised "Shot in HD". The audio was presented in a stereo English track but the audio was too low in the dialogue parts and too high during the sex scenes. It also lacked much dynamic range, sounding like it was recorded in a cave some of the time with wind noise and background disturbances noticed too.

Body of Review: One of the newer companies in porn is Damaged Productions. Personally, I think that's a chancy name (much like pop music band "Garbage") since it implies their productions are, in fact, damaged. That said, their latest release is a little movie about militaristic survival training called Survival Sluts. The movie was a series of vignettes showing the gals taking lessons in military matters before screwing their instructors. Needless to say, the premise wasn't bad but its execution lacked a lot of punch in most cases. With an attractive cast of cuties and no condoms in sight, here's a brief look at the show's scenes, noting that the technical matters could've used a lot more polish.

Scene One: August, the attractive brunette located on the front row, second gal over from the left on the front DVD cover, was up first as she was disciplined by Tyler Durden in the main building. She sucked him off in a playful manner before he reciprocated, using his tongue and fingers to warm her up. They then boned pretty nicely but she didn't do much of the work until the reverse cowgirl aspect of the scene. There was some PTM and it ended with a facial to her mouth. In all, the energy was mixed and I saw no chemistry between them but she did look good so your mileage will vary as to the quality of the scene.

Scene Two: Kayla Marie, an attractive but vacant looking blond, was up next on the rifle range as instructor Carlton Banks showed his tattoos didn't impede his ability to offer up a gun for her to practice on outside. Her oral wasn't as solid as I've seen her provide in the past but she looked good bent over inhaling his average sized hog. He kept looking away from her, she made noises like he was too large for her (cough), and it was pretty basic in terms of the oral with straight sex; lacking much energy.

Scene Three: Aidan Layne, the youngster on the right hand side of the lower front DVD cover, was up next as she complained about the lack of machinery at the base camp. Jack Spade, being the nice guy that he is, solved her basic needs by giving her his penis to play with. The oral was playful and while she could stand to learn a few lessons, she did a decent job of slobbing his knob outside. He gave her some oral loving too and it wasn't long before they were heatedly boning (initially in cowgirl). While not as cute as the last two gals, she did manage to provide some solid energy with a bit of chemistry too. It ended with a facial and was a pretty solid bit on boning.

Scene Four: Sophia, the hotty on the left hand side of the front DVD cover (the one with the largest breasts), was up next as she got a private lesson from Barrett Blade. The two kissed inside the structure and slowly warmed one another up before she engulfed his penis in her mouth. To be fair, I think she was the best looking gal of the cast and have enjoyed several of her performances in the past but her oral was fine, her titty fucking well done, and I knew beforehand that she'd be great in her scene. After Barrett went down on her, she proved me wrong as she failed to energetically participate in her scene until the doggy position. That's when she came alive and vocalized her needs, pumping back as he slammed it in her. I was admittedly disappointed that she wasn't working it from the beginning but fans will be happy that she took anal too. It ended with a facial but even though it was probably as good as any of the other scenes here, I expected more so it was only fair.

Scene Five: Jassie, a very cute (and very lean) brunette, was up next as Jack Spade taught her about auto mechanics with one of those little off road vehicles. She grabbed his attention, and his cock, to provide him with a lube job that was among the best of the show and he returned the oral pleasures to her. I noticed that her hips had filled out a little bit since I last saw her (and her ass looked nicer too) but she was still looking thin to me. The boning was mechanical with all the usual grunts and groans but still fun to watch as the two seemed in a contest of wills as to who would dominate.

Summary: Survival Sluts was one of those generic releases that had a lot of potential for fun but routinely dropped the ball. I liked watching the entire cast but there wasn't anything to set this one apart from a very crowded field of competitors, making it a Rent It at best. Don't get me wrong; it wasn't bad in most ways but looked amateurish in a field known for some really lame productions (I'll let you draw your own conclusions). On a positive note, the movie showed Damaged Productions can pick a solid cast, used technology that might provide a great picture (with more experience) in the future, and otherwise might have a bright future but more work will be needed in their later works for those factors to matter. In short, Survival Sluts was gasping for air as it barely managed to hang onto an audience.
