Extra's: The best extra, by far, was the inclusion of a 25.5 minute long set of scenes with the gals riding a Sybian (a very powerful vibrator shaped like a saddle for those who are unfamiliar with it). The gals almost all looked like they got off riding it. Yum! My second favorite extra was the inclusion of a 13.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Brother Love. There were some interviews, some sex, and a bit of goofing off but most of it revolved around some of the cast talking about themselves. There was also a bonus scene from China Syndrome between Lucy Lee, Chris Charming, and Mr. Pete. She's a moderately attractive Asian with decent sexual skills. I liked the scene although current reports suggest the actual DVD was worth buying even if this 22 minute long scene was only pretty good on its own (it had anal, DP, and a bunch of ATM for those who care). There were also some trailers, a photogallery, a double sided DVD cover, and company information.

Audio/Video Quality: Tongues and Twats was presented in non-anamorphic widescreen color as originally shot by director Axel Braun for New Sensations (a subsidiary of Digital Sin). The lighting varied a bit more than I preferred, giving some scenes a bit of grain and light video noise, with some minor color variations depending on the camera angle. The composition of the shots was almost always complimentary to the gals but let's be honest here; they were all very attractive so making them look bad would've taken a lot of work. I saw no compression artifacts either time I watched the movie and the slightly soft look of the visuals didn't detract from the heated performances they gave. The stereo audio was pretty well done with minimal separation between the channels but a decent set of vocal gals giving lots of dirty talk made it fun to listen to as well (a blind guy could've gotten off to this one).

Body of Review: Lesbian sex is some of the hottest stuff many consumers are willing to watch these days. After all, why watch a bunch of guys that look like they just got out of jail porking hot babes that few of us could score with on our best day? That said, some of the best lesbian sex rivals the circus act gonzo approach many companies have fallen into with WTBA 16, Big Toys No Boys, Girl Crazy , My Ass Is Haunted, The Connasseur, and Evil Pink, being some of the best titles available on the shelves of your local porn store. I lucked out and found another worthy title, Tongues and Twats from New Sensations, when picking some stuff up to review last week and I had to admit that I was pleasantly surprised. I've held the company in high esteem for a long time in regards to their virtual sex releases and some of their older work but recent efforts to revitalize their movies have been paying off too. That said, my biggest complaint here was a bonus scene I've seen all over the place that had little to do with the lesbian action on the feature so without further ado, here's a glimpse of the scenes by cast and action:

Scene One: Penny Flame, playing a piano while dressed in a maroon nightgown, and blonde hotty Lexi Marie, wearing a light blue gown, started off the scene by kissing one another passionately after Penny played for a moment. While I didn't like Lexi's implants, I did enjoy watching the two of them go at one another orally as well as rubbing one another by the piano. Penny led the sexual aggression here but Lexi was pretty solid too as they each gave the other some fun. If you like rimming, dirty talk, spanking, spitting, and fingering, you'll really like this one too. They also did some riding of the Sybian but you can also see more of that in the extras section.

Scene Two: Paola Rey and Sativa Rose, the two gals on the front DVD cover, were a nice contrast to one another both in terms of looks (brunette and light brown hair) as well as sexual energy (Sativa being more dominant this time). They rubbed, licked and played with one another in a fashion that surpassed the last scene, using a playfulness combined with the energy to make a solid scene. They did the same type of things, including the Sybian, but had more rimming as well. Their lean young bodies looked hot and I'd have licked the snail trails off the black couch they were on if given the chance.

Scene Three: Selena Silver, the attractive blonde (when did she change her hair?) with a growing following (in more ways than one), and brunette Jazmine, each dressed in black lingerie, were up next in a scene that took place in the living room on a purple/pink couch. They wasted no time and quickly went to work on each other; kissing as passionately as long lost lovers. The dirty talk was more prominent this time and the fingering action more hardcore but the overall scene was about as hot as the last one (a good thing, mind you). Selena was the better of the two this time, taking charge and showing most of the others in the movie that she will earn her paycheck two times over if given the chance.

Scene Four: Katie Morgan, looking fantastic (except for the implants) with her long blonde hair and youthful body, enjoyed equally hot looking Kelly Kline in a western themed living room on the couch. Both seemed to get off this time although Kelly shined like she rarely does with guys. While some of the acting was way overboard, I enjoyed the licking, fingering, and dirty talk since I've long been a fan of these two gals. Watching Kelly get goose bumps as Katie went down on her told me as much as anything else here and each seemed the other's equal in the action (whereas most of the other scenes had a dominant partner). There wasn't much of the spitting and spanking as in some of the other scenes but this one had a lot of charm and replay value. Whew!

Scene Five: Fallon Summers, one of the most attractive blondes in porn these days, and darker cutie Destiny DeVille, an exotic looking gal that added to the appeal of the scene, were up last in a scene that took place, you guessed it, on a couch. These two weren't as extreme as the earlier gals, nor were they as sensually erotic as the previous scene between Kelly and Katie, but it was still a decent scene in most aspects. They did the same oral, fingering and kissing but also used a dildo and the Sybian to nice effect. Fallon was the lead of the scene but only slightly and the chemistry was almost as good as the other scenes.

Summary: Tongues and Twats was among my favorite lesbian titles this year for all that it offered from the very attractive cast of hotties to the action that made them all look to be getting off to the generally high end production values and spiffy extras. If I could have picked out who'd couple with one another, I might've made a few different selections but overall I thought the show was well worth a rating of Highly Recommended. The biggest weakness lesbian scenes in porn have are that the gals often appear to be in it for the money (so-called gay for pay with lipstick lesbians). Having watched most of these gals do men in a heated fashion, I can tell you that they might be truly bisexual and they generally rocked in their scenes. In short, Tongues and Twats offered the plethora of pussy that most fans would agree is sorely missing in lesbian porn these days. If sequels to this one polish up the technical aspects a bit, they'll be opening up a renaissance for New Sensations.
