Extra's: The best extra was the 27 minute long Making of Anal Love Stories featurette. From the sex footage to the interviews to the goofing off, the feature added some good, solid, value to the DVD release. The other extras were the more standardized trailers, photogallery, minimal cast biographies, and the usual production notes.

Audio/Video Quality: Anal Love Stories was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as Skeeter shot it earlier this year. The lighting wasn't as solid as most other Private movies (or even Skeeter's more recent work for Metro) and that added some grain and video noise to the scenes but the action was typically solid enough to cover up many of the minor flaws that reared their ugly heads (sorry but the analogy fit perfectly and I couldn't resist). The composition of the angles and overall picture sometimes left something to be desired but most of the time, they flattered the women. The audio was presented in the usual stereo but it was kind of hollow most of the time. While it wasn't bad enough to keep me from liking the action, it wasn't as good as Private is known for; not by a long shot. As usual, you could select other languages or subtitles but I'm not sure if they were accurate translations or not.

Body of Review: Once upon a time, suitcase pimp Skeeter Kerkove used to read the internet gossip sites and forums in an effort to promote his wife's many skills. While most people goofed on his poor grammar, lame attempts at promoting his breadwinner wife, and overall goofiness, he never wavered in his devotion to the porn industry or his wife. Over time, he learned to direct movies and show that he was more than he first appeared and made some very solid porn. The latest release of his that I got a chance to see was Anal Love Stories (Private X-Treme 14), a series of vignettes that had a host of gals doing anal while following Skeeter's well established formula carried over to all the companies he has worked for. That said, here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and actions, noting that condoms weren't used in any of the scenes and while there were rough edges, it wasn't a terrible release:

Scene One: Julie Robbins, a gal with light blue eyes and a curvy body, was up first as she followed the formulaic tease with smoking sequence dressed up in fetish gear walking up the staircase in a nice manner in her frilly pink outfit, fishnet stockings, and PVC boots. Her partner was foreign stud Steve Holmes and he practically glowed as he gave her the once over before tasting her ass (and spanking it too). While not my favorite performer, her dirty talk and overall skill with a penis elevated the scene a bit for me. The emphasis was on anal sex of course and each of them rimmed the other. He used some anal toys on her and when he got revved up, tore into her ass like a locomotive. She seemed to enjoy the action and the energy level was pretty good for the most part.

Scene Two: Mason Storm, a super cute brunette with an hourglass figure (wearing a corset, gloves, silk stockings and platform boots) could be seen on the less explicit front DVD cover (it was double sided), had her scene with studly Alex Sanders on a couch. They wasted little time going to the anal action and she gave some ATM after getting reamed out thoroughly. They switched positions a few times and she managed to warm up to his large penis eventually but it wasn't her best scene. In the end, it finished up with her swallowing his load handily, but this wasn't his largest load either. Regardless, she looked good in the scene, even if she wasn't as energetic as usual.

Scene Three: Lauren Phoenix, the blonde hotty known as an anal queen with a perfect ass, wore a red and black outfit that accentuated her curves before she was joined by Mr. Pete and Mark Wood on a couch. Pete worked her front side, kissing her and playing with her breasts as Mark stood and watched. She then did some oral on both of them, taking turns with them as she jerked them off with vigor. The guys took turns screwing her pussy and ass, with a lot of DP action too and fans of taste testing will be pleased to note that she never shied away from a cock covered with her own juices on it. Her scene was energetic and full of chemistry, making it very fun to watch.

Scene Four: Elizabeth Lawrence, an Australian with a lean figure and well rounded ass, was dressed in black boots and gold shorts with a matching top as she prepared to have fun with Andrew Riviera on a bed. She wasn't looking all that cute this time but fans will likely disagree since I couldn't exactly put my finger on why I came to this conclusion. She followed the formula of holding her boot heels as she blew him and then took him in her pussy and ass. She did much of the work herself, at least until the anal began, and the overall scene wasn't bad (but it wasn't even close to being the best). After some ATM action, she swallowed his load down with ease, giving fans another reason to like her act.

Scene Five: Dana Vespoli, one of the hottest gals in porn these days, wore a red and black PVC outfit that showcased her sweet ass in a manner I rarely get to see. Her partner for the scene was effeminate Benjamin Bratt, a guy no stranger to anal play (cough), and at some point in the movie, each got some rimming from the other. The way she took anal in her small, tight asshole was great but her oral skills were far weaker than average. I didn't like the way he slapped her around but I'm sure some of you like that too. It ended with a pop shot to the mouth but he didn't give her much to work with.

Scene Six: Ariana Jollee, a gal with an admittedly average face and body but one of the most recognized anal queen acts seen in recent porn, wore black boots and a white/blue fluffy outfit as she took on another effeminate guy; Scotty Lyons. He did some oral on her, used a dildo to spread her apart, and then the couple did a lot of anal action. She was truly a champion at anal here but with only Scotty to work with, there wasn't much she could do to elevate the heat of the scene. While Skeeter proclaimed that he "saved the best for last", I thought the movie petered out after the second scene. The scene was still worth a look though.

Summary: Anal Love Stories (Private X-Treme 14) was worth more of a Rent It to me than the last volume I saw. This being his second release from Private before he went elsewhere, I can't fault him for attempting to convey a sense of urgency and heated passion while having the gals do things that get him off but several of them just seemed out of place at times. In all, Skeeter has proven himself enough times that even if he were to quit today, no one could question if he had something special to offer but he still had rough edges to hone when this one was shot. If you like the Private X-Treme series, this wasn't a bad volume but it wasn't all that and a bag of chips too.
