Extra's: The best extra would have been a Behind the Scenes feature but it consisted solely of a few seconds of a gal getting pissed off because her partner came in her eye. Otherwise, there were some trailers and photographs of the cast done in slide show format.

Audio/Video Quality: Assparade 2 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as I suspect it was originally recorded by the Bang Brothers (not true credits were provided for anyone but the gals). The colors were accurate, the camera a bit shaky, and the composition of the shots looked designed to invoke a feeling of an amateur production. The lighting was decent, the grain minimal, and I thought it was among the best looking amateur releases I had watched on DVD. The audio track was monaural with no separation and limited dynamic range. The vocals were sometimes way too low compared to the background noises and the director sounded like he was whispering far too often, as did the cast. My biggest complaint with the audio track was the music that was introduced during the scenes that droned on no end. Maybe in the future, they'll ditch the music since it was so lame (one can hope, yes?).

Body of Review: I'm always willing to look for new things in porn or at least new companies that tell me they offer an alternative to the mass produced porn found all over the place. The latest company I came across was Bang Brothers Productions, a company that I believe is better known for their internet websites than DVDs at this point. The first release of theirs I have had a chance to see was a surprisingly interesting title called Assparade 2. This being an age of sequels (Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith starting its run this week), I figured I'd look to see what unanswered questions from the first volume were addressed but luckily enough, it was just a straightforward set of vignettes that all had some nice tease footage reminiscent of John "Buttman" Stagliano's earlier works. That said, here's a quick look at the DVD that I enjoyed far more than I thought I would when opening the package, noting that condoms were used for the health & safety of the cast:

Scene One: Kimmy, the gal on the left hand side of the front DVD cover wearing a blue outfit, started off the show by displaying her curvy (albeit, plump) body. Yeah, she looked much like a stripper from a second tier club but she didn't look like the generic porn performer either (it tends to balance out depending on your tastes in gals). Her ample sample of an ass was pleasing if you like them chunky and it seemed like half the scene was tease alone (not a bad plan in my mind). In any case, she looked a lot like a heavy version of pop singer Tori Amos as she sucked and fucked before the ending facial. I liked the playfulness and lack of polish she showed with her uncredited partner, making me want to see more, even after Kimmy's ~34 minute long scene.

Scene Two: Avy, the blondish looking gal in the lower middle of the front DVD cover wearing a white top and blue jeans, was a bit leaner than Kimmy with a somewhat solider ass (claiming to be 22 years old). Her face looked much more attractive in action than on the cover, and her tease footage was all indoors, unlike Kimmy; with it lasting half as long as the first scene. The sex actually lasted much longer with her uncredited stud and the scene clocked in at about 35 minutes with oral and straight being the operative actions of the day. He rubbed out a load onto her face but she didn't swallow yet I found her appealing on a couple levels too. The energy was solid, there seemed to be some chemistry between the couple, and this was another good scene.

Scene Three: Britney, an 18 year old cutie looking better than the infamous Britney Rears, was up next as she showed off her lean body outside. She's the blonde on the upper middle of the front cover as well as the snapshot on the upper right hand side to give you an idea of what she looks like. Her ass wasn't as rounded as the last two gals but you could tell she's done anal from the little hemorrhoid sticking out but her hairy partner, Jeano, didn't seem to mind as he spanked her and snacked on her crack. I also didn't like her stomach scar (cesarean section) but she seemed okay when taken the oral and straight sex (she also took an anal toy but that was it). In all, she really wasn't as talented as the others and the scene fell flat for me, even if she was the most like a regular porn performer compared to the other gals.

Scene Four: Erika, the lean brunette standing beside Britney on the upper middle of the front DVD cover (who's snapshot was the second one on the right side), was up next as she showed off her body in her 31.5 minute long scene. There wasn't nearly as much tease this time, a sad state of affairs, but she did look to have a smoking hot body with a great ass to enjoy. While her face wasn't all that great looking (I've seen worse in porn), she seemed mildly capable at taking a penis inside her mouth and pussy with some solid energy to spare. Her partner looked to be Jeano but he had a lot less upper body hair so I couldn't be sure (she called him Jean but…). In any case, I thought the action was pretty tight for the most part.

Scene Five: Isabell, an average looking gal with dark hair as displayed on the lower right hand side of the front DVD cover (her Polaroid was down there too), was up last as the 22 year old gave some decent tease footage on some staircase outdoors. Her scene was the shortest of all of them and I thought the weakest due to the way she relied on Jeano to provide the action, laying back as he did his duty. Part of the problem was also the fact that he seemed barely able to maintain an erection, not a good thing in a porno, and the basic nature of the scene made me think the wad was spent by this point in time.

Summary: Assparade 2 was worth a rating of Recommended to me for the way the cast seemed far fresher than most porn, the lengthy tease footage of some of the scenes, and amount of fuck for the buck presented here. While I would've liked better extras, better audio, and actual credits for the entire cast and crew, the show was fun to watch with a lot of playfulness missing in the corporate porn so many of us are familiar with. Is this title is representative of the Bang Bros works, I might be looking them up the next time I'm in Florida to shake their hands (I'll wear gloves though since I've seen where their hands have been). In short, Assparade 2 showed that there are alternatives to the same old stale porn so many companies sell to consumers; good alternatives at that! My only concern is that fans may be misled into thinking anal sex took place given the title so it should be clear that none took place here.
