Extra's: My favorite extra was a toss up between the 4 minute long Behind the Scenes feature or the individual showering scenes of the gals (they were short but sweet). I wish they lasted longer but they still added some nice value to the DVD. There was also a pop shot compilation from the scenes, some trailers, a photogallery, and a double sided DVD cover.

Audio/Video Quality: Off The Rack was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as originally shot by the talented director Alex Ladd for DVSX . The colors were very accurate, the lighting well done, and the amount of grain so minimal as to be unimportant this time. Even better, the composition of the shots was almost always beneficial to the gals and made them look better than usual, a feat not always too easy in the harsh glare of porn lighting. I saw no compression artifacts or video noise and my overall opinion of the visuals was very favorable. The stereo audio was a bit more basic than that though and while I could hear everything said by the cast and director, there wasn't a lot worth mentioning here. This is true of most gonzo porn but an area I'd like to see exploited better in the future.

Body of Review: I'll be the first to admit that my initial impression of DVSX was that they were kind of generic in terms of the style they employed, the quality of their DVDs and the presentation of their material. Thankfully, they have been one of the few companies to rise above my initial impressions after a long, hard journey where their primary directors (including Alex Ladd) got better with time. I had interviewed them a few years back and if not for a technical malfunction, you'd have read all about the company's plans to increase the quality of their work. That said, Mr. Ladd's newest release is Off The Rack, a movie that focused on women with large breasts. By the front DVD cover alone you can tell the type of breasts up for grabs here and the action was often very solid indeed as the cast managed to convince me that DVSX is still getting better, even if they aren't perfect. Here's a quick look at the scenes, noting that condoms weren't used and most of the cast had some fun with one another:

Scene One: Brandy Talore, a cutie with brown hair that looks a lot like a younger version of Jewel De'Nyle, was up first wearing a pink and black outfit that accentuated her 36-DDD breasts (she's on the lower right hand side of the front DVD cover) on the couch. After some tease footage, she worked with Van Damage; initially blowing him in a slow, seductive manner. She also gave a short but sweet titty fuck before he began boning her tight pussy but she let him do the work so the scene lost some heat for me. Scene Three: Lisa Sparxxx, a gal with a somewhat less appealing face but nicer outfit (black & white stripes with pink frills and fishnet stockings), was one of two females not displayed on the front DVD cover but her large (and natural) DD breasts were interesting and her pussy looked great! She followed the formula before taking on both Slimm Dawg and Ace (not from SNL's Ambiguously Gay Duo); a couple of black men desiring to work her over hard. The oral was pretty good and she did some energetic boning (mostly in the ass for those who care) but no DP's this time. Scene Four: Daphne Rosen, a pretty bleach blonde that was also not featured on the front DVD cover, showed off her 34-DD breasts before the camera went to a POV style angle and her eyes were among the hottest of the cast (second only to Rita's) although her outfit was the weakest (until her bikini underwear was shown). After some decent tease, she took on porn stud Kurt Lockwood; a guy with some serious staying power this time. The oral was pretty varied with her rimming him after some heated knob slobbing and the screwing was as hot as it came here with him slamming her hard and wet in both her sweet pussy and ass. It was also rougher then usual with him spanking, slapping and choking her (at her request no less for the squeamish out there); giving the scene a lot of chemistry and passion as they worked each other over in the bathroom. Whew!

Scene Five: Panther, the large black gal on the upper right hand side of the front DVD cover, wore a tiny green dress as she teased the camera with her less than modest manner. If you like them chunky, she will suit you just fine and her partner for the scene, Joel Lawrence, had no problems with this interracial scene after she rubbed butter on her bosoms. The oral was surprisingly weak (my experience is that heavy gals usually suck like vacuum cleaners; with the gals acting like they're at an all you can eat buffet) but the straight screwing wasn't too lame. I'll admit that she simply didn't appeal to me so your mileage will probably vary a lot this time.

Scene Six: Rita Faltoyano, the lovely foreign bred hotty on the upper left hand side of the front DVD cover, was up next on a bed wearing some black lingerie with a flower pattern. This was the reason I picked the DVD and I wasn't surprised to see her give a great scene. It wasn't just that she has beautiful eyes, a smokingly hot body, and a winning smile; she also had a sense of playfulness that none of the others could compare too. From her warm up to her tease to the actual sex with goofus Nick Manning, she managed to get me quite excited. Her oral was top notch, her energy levels off the charts as she aggressively pumped back when he was doing her and her attitude proved every bit as good as she usually displays so the scene was a great choice to end the DVD with.

Summary: Off The Rack provided exactly what was advertised in a well handled manner; a credit to Alex Ladd and DVSX. I'm going to give it a rating of Recommended (it would've been higher but not all the scenes were as good as they could've been) since it provided a good amount of fuck for the buck with some nice extras. A few of the scenes were standouts though and those elevated the entire package enough to warrant the higher rating so read the review and act according to your own methodology, just remember that there was a lot of fuck for the buck to be had this time. If Mr. Ladd's movies keep getting better, I imagine certain companies will start making him offers since he already outshines some of the more well known directors in the industry.
