Audio/Video Quality: 100% Silvia: Silvia's Cream was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by director Jill Kelly for her then new company, Jill Kelly Productions. Financed by one of the cheapest men in all porn, Jill did a decent job here as she started out with great intentions for JKP, and the picture, while basic, looked very crisp and clear. There were no compression artifacts or video noise; the colors and fleshtones were accurate, and the composition of the shots was nicely, if not optimally, handled. The monaural audio was a touch on the light side but generally well handled too since the vocals could usually be heard well enough and no dubbing was present to screw up the fantasy sequences shown in the movie.

Body of Review: The better part of five years ago, one of the leading ladies of porn started up her very own company (so we were told) in order to treat performers right and make a difference in what was offered for fans. That woman was Jill Kelly and she told me straight to my face her intentions and how she'd be in charge of all aspects, having found a silent financier to back her vision. Well, things didn't exactly work out as planned but at least initially; Jill released some very solid efforts (especially for a new company) like 100% Silvia: Silvia's Cream. At the time I watched this one, I had purchased what I was told was "the first copy" and no one had reviewed it yet. With wide eyes and a desire to see the lovely Silvia Saint in action (she retired after this one came out although she has recently made her way back to porn), here's what I said, noting that I was obviously far too generous on it in many ways but it wasn't a bad flick: "This was the first DVD I saw from Jill Kelly's new company
and I must say that I hope they succeed based on this one. The DVD serves as
a showcase for the beautiful Silvia Saint and she's in every scene. She has blonde
hair, some of the most heavenly eyes in the business, is exceptionally
attractive and seems to love sex. It's a shame that she has announced her
retirement from the industry and although I wish her well in whatever she
decides to do, I still hope she returns to the business soon. Complimenting the beautiful Ms. Saint is a cast of other attractive people
who enjoy sex in front of the camera. Unlike some companies who hire one hot
babe and the rest of the cast is lacking, Jill Kelly seems to appreciate
that giving us women like Haven, Keri Windsor and Nikita Denise in no way diminishes the production. I only wish that Jill had a scene here too. Oh well, you shouldn't expect too much from an early effort, right? There are 5 scenes here which have little "fast forward fodder" to interfere
with your viewing pleasure. The sex includes lesbian, anal, oral, straight,
inter-racial, and group. No condoms were used." That said, lets see what old Don had to say with his star struck eyes:

Scene One: Silvia Saint and Nikita Denise were getting English lessons from Randy Spears. Silvia
rewards him with a BJ and Nikita joins her in making him smile. Silvia then
rides him as he sits on a comfy chair. To be fair to Nikita, Randy then does
her doggy style while she goes down on Silvia. It all ends with double
facial. If this was to be a sign of the rest of the DVD, I knew that a lot
of people would be happy with it.

Scene Two: Silvia Saint was now giving language lessons to Dale DaBone and Julian St. Jox. The
guys have an awesome incentive-when they learn a new phrase, she lets them
show it on her body. If any of my teachers ever taught this way, I'd have
been a multi-lingual student in no time. The three engage in oral, then
straight, and then a facial. I found the scene almost as hot as the first
which still made it very warm.

Scene Three: Silvia Saint then took on the lovely Haven and Keri Windsor on a large bed. It
had lots of oral, some spanking and rimming, and fingering. If you like all
woman action, you're going to be spanking away to this one for a long time.
If you are neutral to such action, you will still enjoy it a lot.

Scene Four: Silvia Saint takes on Mr. Marcus as she tends his wound. To prove it's
all better, he lets her give him a BJ. They progress to straight and then
anal with a facial to cap off this very good scene.

Scene Five: Silvia Saint and Sean Michaels get it on. Sean is easily the largest guy in the
cast and she takes him balls deep with a smile. Both of them display a
chemistry that the other scenes had as well. Maybe Ms. Kelly asked the cast
who they wanted to work with first-in any case, it shows that everyone had a
good time.

Summary: 100% Silvia: Silvia's Cream had exactly what fans wanted; a lot of Silvia Saint in action before she left the world of porn so even now this little gem is pretty respectable in terms of value even if the amount of sex is far too light for modern sensibilities. While I sometimes regret being so positive about the DVD, here's what I said back then (remembering that I paid for it, just like all my movies from JKP at the time, in hopes of furthering their good fortune: I sure have become jaded…): "I predict that JKP (Jill Kelly Productions) will be making a lot of
money if they can keep making DVD's this good and nothing interferes with
the business side of the equation. The cast and sex were really good and
they paid attention to the technical aspects. How I wish that some more
established companies learned this lesson before they started churning out
crap like an assembly line. I prefer features and I still liked it a lot. I wish that the behind the scenes
featurette was longer, a commentary track was included and the movie was
longer-preferably with a Jill scene, but otherwise was worth every penny I
paid. In every way, it seemed as though Silvia, as well as the rest of the
cast, gave not 100% but 110%. Any fan of
Silvia's needs to buy this one. It was one of her last movies and it has her
in every scene. Even people that aren't infatuated with her will be happy
with the no condoms, hot sex, and attractive cast. Note to Jill Kelly Productions: Good job! Sure, I'd like a few more extras
and more scenes but this effort was better than many movies put out by
seasoned companies-I suspect they're going to get jealous! Thanks!" Okay, that's enough beating up on myself about this old review. I stand by my comment that it had more Silvia Saint than any movie released at the time and it still holds up well enough for me to give it a rating of Recommended with fans of Silvia probably needing to get it if they haven't already. Check it out though since all the failed promise of JKP started out so well with shows like this one that you'll wonder what happened….
