Extra's: The best extra by far was the 17 minute long Behind the Scenes feature that included some interviews by Anastasia Pierce and even some sexual antics that were fetish oriented. I would've preferred the entire cast be included in the BTS feature but it was certainly a decent extra that added some measure of value for me. The other extras were more generic in nature, including a slide show, some trailers, and commercials for things like phone sex ads and Hustler.

Audio/Video Quality: Taboo 3 was presented in a non-anamorphic widescreen with an aspect ratio of about 1.85:1. The picture looked cropped to that ratio rather than originally shot in it but I applaud the artistic attempt nonetheless. The colors looked accurate, the lighting was a hodge podge of various techniques that sometimes worked better than others, the level of grain typically minimal, and the composition of the shots better than I recall Taboo 2 having. There were no compression artifacts, no video noise, and while I would've liked more of a straightforward approach to the scenes, the movie wasn't bad looking at all. The stereo English audio track was kind of basic (again) but the vocals instilled a sense of heat in several of the scenes and the music didn't get in the way of the action. There wasn't a lot of separation between the channels and the dynamic range lacked a bit but I didn't get the sense that the audio was blown off here at all.

Body of Review: Hustler has long been a leader in the adult entertainment industry, from the first club Larry Flynt owned to the magazine that started a sexual revolution resulting in what we now call the porn industry to the numerous movies the company releases each month. While not every DVD is a top notch hit, the company offers a lot of good material for you guys out there in need of some visual stimulation to take care of personal business. The latest release by the company is Taboo 3, a movie made up of five vignettes of fetish oriented sexual activity bordering on the bizarre but often working out nicely, much like Taboo 2 did for me. While this release doesn't have someone as hot as the lovely Teagan Presley, several of the cast members were at least as sexually skilled so the show worked out on average. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast and action, noting that condoms weren't used and a few of the scenes managed to achieve a good level of heat:

Scene One: Ana Nova, a very sexually aggressive gal with dark brown hair and a red & black fetish outfit, was up first as Tommy Gunn used a electric probe on her tongue and body as Brett Rockman held her in a chair (all done in a mad scientist's laboratory). The guys then offered up their meat for the sucking, something she excelled at with lots of slob and hand action, before they took turns tapping her pussy and ass. Initially, she took them one at a time but after a while, she did a heated DP with them. This energetic, chemistry filled scene ended when the guys jerked off loads to her lovely face.

Scene Two: Shy Love, dressed in a flimsy pink outfit, had the next scene with wimpy Trent Tesoro, with him dressed like a baby in a large crib. I wondered if he was paid more to look like such a goofus but this is actually a well known, if weird, fantasy so I won't pick on him too much (he suffered enough looking like a fool here). In any case, she stripped, blew him handily using her skilled tongue and hand, and let him fuck her in the pussy and ass while they were on the floor. In all, the scene was pretty good but it could've been better if she had toned down the yelling a tad (and through herself into the action more).

Scene Three: Boo D. Licious, a very attractive brunette, and blonde Barbara Summer, were up next as a couple of dominatrix looking gals in a science fiction looking setting it hot outfits while a loser guy (Mario Rossi I believe), bound and forced to wear a gas mask, was made to watch. Boo was the dominant partner here in this lesbian scene and she wielded her strap on dildo with a certain degree of personal power throughout the scene. Barbara did the oral this time and I found myself drawn into the heated, passionate action more than I thought I would be.

Scene Four: Randi Wright, a gal with pretty eyes and a nice figure, was up next as she played a futuristic interrogator akin to Harrison Ford's Decker in Blade Runner to suspect Marco Duato. She angrily inquires about his desire to suck cock, a charge he vehemently denies, eventually showing him how good she does the act. Her dirty talk, slobber, and hand all helped get him very hard for the riding action that showed her giving a lot more heat than usual even though it was strictly vaginal sex here. It ended with a large facial load that she licked up off the count down device. Whew!

Scene Five: Cytherea, the gal on the front DVD cover dressed in a circus wig, was up last with the massive Lee Stone in a vacant room adorned with "taboo" posters on the walls as she kept her intravenous (IV) drip close by her. He wore a brown vinyl outfit as she inhaled his huge member into her mouth, looking at the camera the entire time. The straight boning was pretty simple and she did her vaunted urinating act (she can call it "squirting" all she likes but it's still just a gal taking a wiz). He ended it by dropping a load onto her mouth but this was another weak scene in my book, lacking any significant chemistry or passion.

Summary: Taboo 3 had three great scenes and one pretty good one so I rated it as Recommended. Much of this rating was due to the splendid cast of talented performers and the interesting (if twisted) scenarios that most of us could agree weren't typical of modern day porn. The extras were okay and the technical values a bit of a mixed bag but there was some decent fuck for the buck here and fans of the cast will like it more than average. Taboo 3 might not be the best movie from the vaults at Hustler but if it is a sign of things to come, I think Hustler may prove some of it's critics wrong once more (just like it did when the magazine first came out).
