Extra's: The extras were pretty weak this time with only a photogallery, some trailers, a cum shot compilation from the scenes and a double sided DVD cover. This was likely due to the length of the movie as well as the fact that it had ten scenes but I think a few solid extras would've helped this one in terms of value.

Audio/Video Quality: Iron Head 4 was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by director Tina Tyler for Mercenary Pictures. I wish it were as good looking as Iron Head 2 but there was some extra tease added in to make the action better so the flaws that included lighting issues, grains, and some camera angles that didn't work all that well for a few of the performers, didn't bother me as much. In large part, the visuals looked pretty solid but a bit more polishing is needed to really work the magic I know Tina has the potential for (as much as I'd kiss her sweet ass in real life, I call them like I see them when reviewing titles; as always). There were no compression artifacts and my overall assessment of the visuals is that they were about average. The stereo audio was another area needing some work with the vocals too low in a few scenes or competing with the music track that forced me to choose between hearing what was said and listening to the audio at too loud a level (causing distortion). Most of the time, it was okay but only okay instead of superior as I'd like to hear from the nice folks at Mercenary Pictures.

Body of Review: A lot of you enjoy watching movies that are solely focused on blowjobs with no other sex going on. For the most part, I like the full act taking place but if it's good enough for the former President of the USA, who am I to argue? In the last few days, I've reviewed a few such movies, Big Gulps 1 and the superior Orally Challenged. Neither will cause the folks at Evil Angel to worry about the dominance of their Feeding Frenzy series but diversity is a good thing; even in porn. Well, an old friend of mine (she's younger than I am though) recently retired and starting directing porn again, a lovely lady by the stage name of Tina Tyler. Tina is one of those gals that always seemed to add another dimension to her work, whether it was performing or directing or even working at her favorite little dungeon in New York, so her return should be considered a good thing. Working as a Behind the Scenes camera woman and director at Mercenary Pictures, she now has a chance to finally prove herself completely as a lady in charge and the first chance I've had to review her latest work is Iron Head 4 (I never saw the third volume, her debut I believe). While the technical values were similar to Iron Head 2, she managed to bring something else to the picture and I'll breakdown some of the highlights for you in the following scene descriptions:

Scene One: Flower Tucci, a well known and highly desirable anal queen coming out of the stable of gals at Seymore Butts studio, was up first after providing some tease footage to ready partner Lexington Steele in his upstairs piano room. Her dirty talk and flimsy print dress didn't last long as she tormented him before slobbing his knob. While her claim to fame will probably always be her anal antics, her oral skills seemed fine tuned too and the amount of energy she gave was very nice indeed as she practically made him beg for it. The scene had very high energy and was a sweet way to start the movie off.

Scene Two: Jazmin, a 19 year old small gal from Bangladesh that likes belly dancing, was up next on a bed after giving Tina a short interview and dance. Her partners were Mike Foster and Mario Rossi, both capable studs for the action of the day. Her oral skills fell short of Flower's but she gave both of them some nice licks (that they returned in a change of pace). She worked out the loads onto her face well enough but Mario's goofing around (not to mention the poster in the background bearing his name) didn't help elevate it past decently warm.

Scene Three: Mika Brown, the gal featured on the front cover (in the middle; she's been a favorite of the company for some reason), was up next in a scene that had her working with Damien and Doni Blass by some French doors that provided a visually interesting bit of lighting. To be completely straightforward, I'd have preferred flat lighting (something the company rarely offers) but she proved to be better at oral than a full scene like the one in Black Reign 6. Doni rimmed her and spanked her ass but the emphasis was on well done oral; a talent she seems to have worked on over her short life.

Scene Four: Nadia Blue, a gal that would look right at home at a punk rock concert or second tier strip club, was up next after giving some tease footage with pleasant vocals. She also did two guys, Damien and Will Powers; two of the least gifted men in the movie. The blowjobs were mechanical this time (I'm not saying I'd turn one of them down but compared to some of the others here, she wasn't all that great) and they snacked on her crack a bit too.

Scene Five: Megan Martinez, one of the cutest gals in porn these days (and the model for Adult DVD Empire's latest advertising campaign), was up next in a dark, almost surreal, scene on a couch. Why the initial lighting was so poor is beyond me but wimpy Will Powers didn't seem to care since the tactile nature of her charms took over for him in a way none of us could understand. She was energetic in her oral and I wanted to see more of her after this scene.

Scene Six: Aidan Lane, a 19 year old newcomer to porn, teased Tina during the interview with her flexibility (she put her foot behind her head) and while I'm not her biggest fan in terms of previous work, she has long showed some serious potential to break out from the pack. If all gals from Maryland are this skilled, I may have to visit some day. Her partner was Mario Rossi and she gave him a titty fuck as well as the usual oral loving. Her style was a bit less energetic but she had some serious skill at milking a nut, using both her hands, her tongue, and her eyes to coax out his load all over her head and upper torso.

Scene Seven: Queenie, a 27 year old black gal from down south, was up next as she followed the formula on the couch provided. Lexington Steele was her partner and she took directions well enough; giving him the sloppy head he desired. She wasn't the most visually appealing gal but she was decent at giving head.

Scene Eight: Hollie Stevens, a bleach blonde with a sultry demeanor about her, was up next as she provided some exceptionally solid tease by masturbating and discussing what she wanted out of the scene (at least in terms of the sexual activity). Will Powers was her partner (boy did she lose out in the luck of the draw) and her oral skills were never truly put to the test with him. I'd like to see more of her in the future due to the heated manner she teased with but the oral was bare bones at best.

Scene Nine: Finesse Navarro, an exotic looking cutie that's been in the jizz biz for about a year, spoke too softly to hear since the music got in the way but she claimed to want two cocks in her mouth and Tina is all about offering up what people want, yes? Her partners were Damien and Will Powers, while not the best two meat puppets of the show, at least there were two of them like she asked for. She was engaging and energetic, offering up some solid action throughout the scene. I just wish she could've had her shot with Lexington himself.

Scene Ten: Lain Oi and Sharon Wild, a couple of bleached blondes known for their oral skills, were brought in to finish up the production with Doni Blass as their partner. They double teamed him well enough and managed to keep focused so the scene was another one where you'll find skill beat looks (they weren't ugly by any means though). It was playful and energetic; in many ways among the best of the show. Yum!

Summary: Iron Head 4 was an oral only title that even a jaded old porn hound like me could suggest as Recommended. Had the technical aspects been better and/or more extras been included, I probably would've boosted it up a notch but fans of this type of show will likely do that on their own. The cast weren't all the very best in porn, but there was a nice selection of gals according to race, ability, freshness in the industry, and scenario. I see a bright future for director Tina Tyler with Mercenary Pictures but she needs to work on some of the basics first since there are a lot of fans getting higher end home theatre gear; gear that amplifies problems more than can be easily compensated for. Otherwise, it's good to see this visionary little sweety back in the game since losing her stint at public relations for Sin City a while back (she's better at hands on activities if you ask me so this change should work well for her).
