Extra's: The best extra for me was easily the 20 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by the talented Tina Tyler. It included some great footage of the cast as well as a bit of humor from Lex himself, adding to the replay value I need to boost a rating. There was also the usual photogallery, fetish menu, trailers, and double sided DVD cover but the BTS section was the only one that interested me.

Audio/Video Quality: Hole Collector was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio, full frame color that director Mario Rossi shot it in for his friend Lexington Steele's company, Mercenary Pictures. The lighting was slightly off in several of the scenes and that caused a bit more grain than I prefer seeing as well as some color saturation issues. This issue aside, the scenes usually looked pretty good and added to the entertainment value of the movie. The camera angles ranged from the usual types of shots to some POV to a host of other angles with the composition of said shots to almost always be complimentary to the cast of women. I saw no compression artifacts and only some pattern noise on the fishnets some of the gals wore bothered me as much as the lighting. The stereo audio was a bit on the varied side this time too since the vocals were at different levels. Some of the time, I could hear the cast just fine and other times they were barely discernable so you can understand my concern that a little quality control might assist with.

Body of Review: Mario Rossi is one of the up and coming directors for Mercenary Pictures, proving that the company is not biased in favor of directors based on gender or color as some have claimed in the past. With fellow directors like Tina Tyler and the mighty dark prince himself, Lexington Steele; it would be easy to get lost in the shuffle yet the guy seems to improve with every release. His latest movie for the company is Hole Collector, a series of unrelated gonzo vignettes of hardcore action without any tying theme to draw attention away from the scenes. If this sounds pretty good to you, just watch the movie. That said, some of the cast were especially talented and the DVD provided enough fuck for the buck that while it didn't achieve the highest rating of the month, it managed to showcase a lot of solid action worth watching more than once. Here's a brief look at the scenes, noting that no condoms were used:

Scene One: Lauren Phoenix, the hotty on the front DVD cover, has long been established as a top notch performer in the porn world. Her scene started off with the polarity of the colors reversed; a gimmick I wasn't really into. She wore a fetish outfit consisting of a black PVC corset, fishnet body stocking, collar, and stripper shoes that was different from the front cover but still very appealing to me. After the weird tease footage, she walked over to suck Lexington Steele's penis, jerking him off to get him hard. Her oral skills were a sight to behold and Lex gave her some oral in return. That didn't last long as he started boning her pussy as it to poke out the other side and she begged for more as the mighty tower of power impaled her as only he can. He screwed her pretty hard but she wanted more, asking him to penetrate her ass in the next room. She did a technical DP (one toy and one large Lex penis) with some nice energy and the various positions showed she was no dick dilettante as he hammered away with a lot of energy of his own. She did some taste testing (including ATM) along the way and ended with a combination facial/vaginal creampie and some more oral to his lengthy shaft. Yum!

Scene Two: Loni and Bamboo, were up next after some visually interesting tease footage that looked like Mario learned a new feature on the camera with (with cascading bars across a widescreen image); much like the polarity swap on the last scene's introduction sequence. The gals wore some decent lingerie but nothing that I'd call fetish oriented yet even though I'm not the biggest fan of these two, they seemed to work well in the initial lesbian action. They did each other fairly well before being joined by Pascal St. James on a big white couch. He'd bone one while she'd lick the other, using a blue plastic dildo to get her own juices flowing. The oral was intermittent, with plenty of PTM (pussy to mouth) and PTOGM (pussy to other girls mouth), but it was the vaginal screwing that drew my attention most. The gals almost seemed to have a bet going on as to who could do a better job (maybe they were on the bonus plan) and even the anal seemed part of this master plan. Another toy was employed to do some technical DP work and the ending facials hit both gals fairly well. In all, it was well worth watching as the gals had some solid energy.

Scene Three: Trinity Thomas, a curvy black gal wearing a tie up corset and skimpy panties, was up next in a tease sequence much like the last scene with those goofy black bars. She used a toy to warm up and partner Mario Rossi, employing his director privileges, worked her over fairly well. With PTM and some solid nut busting oral, the gal managed to showcase her talents very handily, riding him vaginally better than I've ever seen her before (that's a trick comment since this was the first time I've seen her, IIRC, but she only needed a better make up job to look better in my eyes). It was the most straightforward scene of the movie though and if you want a no-frills fuck, she's the one to zip to.

Scene Four: Michelle B., the busty British blonde with large implants and even larger talents with men, was up next in a scene that used Anthony Hardwood and Pascal St. James to test her limits. The tease formula worked less well for her since the camera trick didn't provide a consistent approach to the fun but I've long appreciated her ability to do it all with a smile, eclipsing the vast majority of gals in porn for hardcore antics. Her skimpy lingerie and boa worked well with her look and the guys seemed ready and raring to go so it came as no surprise that they took their time with her; savoring all she had to offer. Her oral was probably the best of the show and her anal abilities (with a DP and ATM) were at least on par with Lauren's scene; the two providing the best action of the movie. I liked Michelle's scene a bit better in that she was so vocal but that'd be splitting hairs since each was tremendously talented at their craft. It ended when they dropped their loads on her chest instead of face but she did some post coital sucking of their shafts to make up for their error. Whew!

Scene Five: Chelsea Zinn, a slightly older gal with some nice curves was up next as she followed the formula as well as the others. Using a large black dildo, she stretched out her pussy after fingering her ass and tasting it. I'm not familiar with this gal but her corset, garter, stockings and throw me down stripper shoes, all worked to enhance her look. She was vocal about getting to work with studly Brian Pumper and the dark prince himself, Lexington Steele, showing experience has a place in modern porn (I've enjoyed the comfort of a few women and found that to a point, experience is better than barely legal gals fresh off the boat and in their first scenes). The oral was very well done and her ability to do the vaginal, anal and DP were almost on par with the two movie superstars mentioned above. Her sheer appreciation of getting all they had to give (taste testing and all) made her stand out from a lot of the gals fans clamor about so I'll be looking for more by this hotty in the future. The scene ended with the double facial and surprised me at the energy levels and chemistry she showed with the gentlemen.

Summary: Hole Collector was worth a rating of Recommended to me for the heated scenes, the splendid cast, and the quality of the sex scenes. The technical values were a bit off and the extras weren't the best the company has offered, but the action was often very energetic and full of chemistry. Three of the scenes were simply outstanding on several levels and the show came very close to making the next higher rating but you might want to give it a look for all it had to offer.
