Extra's: The best extra this time was the bonus scene from Beautiful/Nasty Too with Devinn Lane, Taylor St. Claire, and Nicole Sheridan. The scene was well done, the gals had some nice chemistry, and it was just one reason to pick that DVD up. The next extra was a 2.5 minute long Box Cover shoot that interviewed Producer Devinn Lane as well as show the pictures being shot. The rest of the extras were more generic with the various photogalleries of the performers, the star stats, promotional reels, trailers, Wicked Pictures DVD catalog, DVD Rom materials, and cardboard case for the DVD itself. I would've appreciated a lengthy Behind the Scenes feature but the scenes already had such footage incorporated into them so it would've been redundant to have a feature on top of that. An audio commentary would've been nice too but Wicked has been less willing to do those over the last year or so since many fans don't bother listening to them as I do.

Audio/Video Quality: Beautiful/Nasty 3 was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by director Mark Stone for Wicked Pictures. The lighting was solid, the fleshtones accurate, and the amount of grain minimal in all the scenes. There was some minor lens flare at times when the camera went at a bad angle to the lighting but that wasn't common in any of the scenes here. The composition of the scenes was very favorable to the performers, enhancing their looks more than a lesser company's production would've been able to do. In short, it was visually interesting AND appealing in a way that few movies are these days. The DVD mastering seemed to be as solid as ever too with no compression artifacts or video noise in sight for those keeping track. The audio was presented with the standard choices Wicked Pictures seems to offer these days; a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround English track and a 2.0 Dolby Digital German track. I listened to the English track and found the 5.1 to be overrated since the majority of sound appeared to come from the front stereo speakers, leading me to think the track was remastered in 5.1 with little separation to qualify the better designation. It wasn't a bad track though so fans won't be disappointed.

Body of Review: As Wicked Pictures continues to spread its wings in the porn world, offering up a variety of genres for those inclined to appreciate them, one area that routinely seems left behind is the lesbian movie. That's why director Mark Stone, working for producer Devinn Lane, offer up the latest release in a lesbian series, Beautiful/Nasty 3. As a reviewer, I've heard mixed things about the previous two volumes in the series but never having received a copy, I had to accept what others said; until now of course. The theme this time was to showcase trios of poontang going at one another with a variety of settings in a luxurious mansion hired for the occasion. Having something of a crush for Jessica Drake, it was a no-brainer on my part to check this one out and it had a lot of heated antics to offer. That said, here's a brief look at the scenes noting that no men participated in front of the camera:

Scene One: Jessica Drake, Devinn Lane, and Kaylani Lei, the three Wicked Pictures contract gals displayed on the front DVD cover, were on hand to make the movie work well early on. Each has extensive experience with lesbian scenes, Devinn (the producer) especially so, and each appeals to a different segment of the audience. Jessica, the light haired hotty I've watched for years was my personal favorite but I know many of you prefer Devinn's experience or the Asian flavor that Kaylani brought to the show. Each licked and fingered their friends to oblivion, with Devinn getting some extra oral (it's good to be the producer I guess). Devinn looked tight for her age (she started in porn late in life) but again, the chemistry between them was strong enough to really work for me. Yum!

Scene Two: Ariana Jollee, Lauren Phoenix, and Monica Sweetheart were up next in a scene that started off at a make up counter inside a ladies room of the mansion the movie was shot at. While I tend to favor the so called "Home Team" in the scene above, I know a lot of you will prefer this trio of award winning titans that literally have few peers in porn to speak of. It wasn't that Lauren just won the Performer of the Year award or that Monica has a collection of awards from overseas because Ariana has been making great porn since long before awards entered into her picture. No, the ability of these three to convey sexual desire while enjoying themselves (even getting paid for it!) was also something special in my book as they worked each other over like girlfriends of old did. They even got a little bit rough with the spanking and pinching but fans will like Ariana's pissing routine (also called squirting by some) that doused the camera. I would've preferred some meat here (like mine for example) but for those looking to see lesbians will like it a lot.

Scene Three: Haley Paige, Kimberly Kane, and Devinn Lane, were in the third scene with some significantly improved tease footage of the gals. Kimberly and Haley had taped up nipples and Devinn's corset managed to enhance her look more than a little bit but the central focus of the scene was in toy use. Foot fetish, rug munching, spanking and lots of dildos shoved all over the place were the draw here. To be fair, as much as I liked all three of the gals with the way they look and from past experience, the scene didn't work well for me for some reason. It's not like I didn't think they got off (they showed all the signs of getting off) but it seemed somehow off to me and suffered as a result.

Scene Four: Sofia Sandobar, Myaluanna, and Kaylani Lei made up the next trio of terror. This was an exotic group by the countries they came from and the scene took place on the large staircase. The gals wore naughty nighties as they licked, fingered and kissed one another endlessly but for all the wetness, Sofia seemed out of place to me more often than not. This was perhaps the tamest trio of the show but fans of the gals won't mind as they eat their own cum and otherwise tasted their friends into oblivion.

Scene Five: Jessica Drake, Lily Thai, and Keeani Lei, were up last with Jessica brandishing a large strap on dildo. Jessica in a dominant role works for me more than I suspect it should (next time she visits, I'm not sleeping on my stomach; that's for sure!) but her black PVC corset and paddle collection fit well with the submissive attitude the others showed. The scene included some anal action (dildo and tongues only though) and more toys were brought forth to enhance the scene. In overall heat and chemistry, they ranked second but I pushed my thumb on the scale to add points due to the difference of the domination themes employed. Whew!

Summary: Beautiful/Nasty 3 was a title that I'd rate as Recommended to anyone looking for some lesbian action. The gals all seemed to enjoy the intricacies of female allure and weren't the lipstick lesbians you'll find in other productions (Devinn Lane as producer seemed to have an eye for who is really into it and who's wanting just a paycheck; hiring only those she thought would work out). The production values and amount of fuck for the buck were top notch too as the cast went through all the expected actions with a flare reserved for their private bedrooms. Not all the scenes were great but most were very well done or better so check it out if that's what you're in the market for.
