Extra's: For most of you, the best extra will be the bonus scene between the lovely Julia Bond and hairless Ben English from Craving Big Cocks 7. It lasted the better part of twenty minutes and was a straightforward scene between the two partners that ended with a big wad of goo on her face. I liked the 28.5 minute long Behind the Scenes extra more since it gave most of the gals a lot of screen time with some solo action for the patient among you. There was also a photogallery, some trailers, and a bit of company information as well as a "true" (not a collection of covers) double sided DVD cover.

Audio/Video Quality: 4 Finger Club #22 was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by directors Xavier Mann and Brother Love for distribution by New Sensations. The fleshtones were accurate, the lighting reasonably well done, and the composition of the shots seemed to work wonders at enhancing the look of the gals. Yeah, there were some unfortunate close ups of stretch marks or other minimal flaws but the editing seemed to catch most of them and the gals have looked far worse in some higher budget releases elsewhere (at least the ones I've seen in other movies). The grain was minimal and the other visual flaws quite forgivable considering the big picture that each director added (at least one of the last four scenes also appeared to be shot by Brother Love; going by stylish angles and the like, but each has a similar approach in the movie so maybe Brother assisted as cameraman). I saw no compression artifacts or video noise, making this an eye pleasing show. The stereo English audio track was somewhat less sweet with levels varying too much, probably to compensate for the humming of the Sybian in a few cases, but even there it wasn't bad.

Body of Review: New Sensations was once one of the leaders in crystal clear porn on DVD. Since that time, they've gone through a number of directors, producers, and assorted crew members but the good news is that the company has been attempting to make a rebound of sorts over the last year. As a result, the company seems to have decided to pick up where they left off in a well received series, with 4 Finger Club #22 to inaugurate this newly aggressive approach. Directed by Xavier Mann and Brother Love, the movie was very similar to older volumes like 4 Finger Club #8, yet improved in terms of getting gals that liked working with one another. Not a single gal in the movie was substandard (a marked change in attitude since the older volumes almost always had a few clock watchers on hand that coined the term "gay for pay") and some of them were among the best new starlets in porn. Each gal took the required four fingers in her pussy too, with a variety of action moving from energetic and active to a more subdued but no less appealing sultry approach. Here's a look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that all of it was well worth a look, even by the most jaded of you into lesbian antics:

Scene One: Julia Bond, the pierced hotty on the front DVD cover, and the curvier Tory Lane, were up first in the movie. Each wore a minimal outfit that had some neon fishnet accessories and each gave as well as they received here. Although it wasn't noted anywhere on the DVD cover, this scene was directed by the talented Brother Love (look up his work; he's an up and comer) and was hot enough to score Julia the front cover. The gals were playful in how they attacked one another, licking and sticking as needed to get their partner off. They used toys (Tory's ability with a dildo impressed me a lot) in each hole and each gal took at least four fingers in her pussy. If not for fear of criminal prosecution, I'm sure they'd have fisted one another a few times (they caught themselves when getting close to doing so). My only reservation about the scene was that the gals didn't have the Sybian to work with (a large vibrator in the shape of a saddle) as the series employed in the past. Otherwise, the two gals rocked with lots of energy and chemistry; appearing to get off at least a few times each. Yum!

Scene Two: Penny Flame, a really cute gal with an overactive mouth (at times), was up next with Karina Kay as they played with one another on the rug. Each gal was looking in top form so fans can safely rest assured that someone did her job getting them ready (there were two makeup artists or I'd credit the one responsible). In a sense, they were in the unenviable position of following a great scene but these two are known for their own heat so I hoped they'd be as good. Okay, I'd have licked the sweat off their stomachs given how hot they looked and I thought Penny was the better of the two sexually (only by a little bit though). Each took the requisite four fingers in her pussy, leaving their partner's fingers soaked in female juices. They got to ride the Sybian at the end of the scene and it really worked for them (I'd have bet either would've taken it home in payment of their services for the day). Tory looked better on it but Penny's playful manner of turning up the juice on her friend was cool too. In all, it was also a ball draining scene for me.

Scene Three: Kylee King and Lexi Love were up next as they pawed each other on a bed. Kylee seemed a little self conscious here but once the action started, both were lost to one another as though the camera wasn't present (at least that's the impression I got from watching them). As such, the two acted more subdued and as if they wanted to take their time and enjoy the pleasures their partner presented them with, including all the fingering action advertised. Fans of rimming will know that all the scenes had it in the past and this new release was no exception although Kylee seemed to relish ass tasting like no other in the show. The toys used this time weren't as center stage until the Sybian came into play with each gal riding it as though on the bonus plan for the largest snail trail were in the cards. While not as heated as the previous two scenes, the gals looked good together, with some heat to spare for those wanting more.

Scene Four: Savannha James and Majesstic were next up and to be open about them; I wasn't familiar with either. They looked a bit older than the previous gals but no less desirable as they teased and tongued each other in the living room. Fans of less well known (read: less worn) gals will appreciate that they haven't been in hundreds of releases but their inexperience sometimes showed as they were more mechanical than most of the others here. I'd have liked a little blondie action myself here and think each will do well if they continue to make porn but they are still on the steep end of the learning curve if this scene was any guide to their talents so even though they followed the formula, they weren't as heated in their scene. It was another slower, sultrier scene, and that helped make it a nice contrast to some of the more bouncy attempts to milk my nuts but the scene had less toy use and far too little Sybian action for my tastes.

Scene Five: Memphis Monroe and Nikki Hilton were up last, capping a collection of fine performances (for the most part). To the best of my knowledge, Nikki isn't related to Paris Hilton (I get asked that a lot) but she's far more sexually skilled if you compare any of her scenes to the sole celebrity work done by the millionaire heiress. Here, the two gals looked as though they came from an upper level strip club (that's a compliment by the way), putting on quite a show as they kissed and toyed with one another. The strap on dildo might not have been worked into the scene as effectively as I would've liked but it helped make the scene different from the others where more of the silicone toys were pumped in and out of the partners. The Sybian ride was again too short for my tastes but these two seemed less into acting as they enjoyed it than a few of the others so the scene balanced out in the end.

Summary: 4 Finger Club #22 succeeded in ways that I wasn't sure was possible after such a lengthy hiatus for the series. The gals were often in top form, having the kind of sex most of us are willing to pay for, unlike the generic gonzo scenes that are so prevalent today. If you like seeing attractive women having sexually explicit fun with one another, this was a very good title to watch, unless you're into more of the circus act sex approach a few companies seem to rely on for their movies. I'm going to rate it as Recommended but a lot of you will find it even better than that given the way the cast seemed to appreciate one another to the exclusion of everything going on around them. As one of the New Sensation flagship titles of old, it was sure good to see these two directors do the series justice and I can only imagine what else they're capable of.
