Audio/Video Quality: Unleashed #6 was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame it was shot in by director Mr. Pete for New Sensations. The lighting was slightly off this time so the fleshtones seemed a bit muted but aside from a few minor shadows in a couple of scenes, the action was all easy to see. The over saturated colors weren't the worst I've seen from the company but they looked like someone forgot to check the camera or something. The composition of the camera angles was generally done well enough to enhance the look of the performers but there were some areas needing more attention. I saw no compression artifacts or video noise though some shimmer was detected on the fishnets in two scenes. The stereo English audio was a mixed bag with some levels set improperly; either too low to hear them clearly or too high, causing some distortion. In either case, the parameters of the audio were somewhat looser than the visuals so maybe someone will pay more attention next time.

Body of Review: These days, you can't find many companies not hiring porn performers to also direct. Maybe some of it has to do with saving money on their part (not needing to pay a director) or perhaps it's just an attempt to get performers to work for them cheaper (as they learn the fundamentals on someone else's dime) but in large part, these newcomers to working a camera or directing in general have proven to be fairly talented at their craft. This doesn't mean that they don't have a lot to learn but the learning curve for porn these days is pretty fast given that almost anything will sell if marketed correctly. The most recent example of this phenomenon is Mr. Pete and his series for New Sensations, Unleashed #6. The series is just about showing a series of vignettes where Pete and his old pal Mark Wood each got to play with a plethora of pussy; young pussy at that. If you're in the market for some new gals in porn, this one might work for you fairly well. Here's a look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used, even in the sole anal scene:

Scene One: Karina Kay and Sunny Lane, the two hotties on the front DVD cover, began the show by kissing passionately on a couch, wearing no clothes. Karina was the sexual aggressor here and she spent some time going down on Sunny before the two were interrupted by Mr. Pete; not only the director but the lead male performer too. The sexual antics were oral and vaginal only, with some limited toy work too, but it was the main problem for me was how subdued the screwing was. Scene Two: Jamie Huxley, an attractive brunette with brilliant eyes and a lean, fit body, was up next in a scene with Mark Wood. She started off wearing some stripper clothes including neon pink bikini wear and a black fishnet top as she knelt in a cage waiting for him to release her. Once given the chance, she didn't make a break for it, staying to blow him instead. The extras were also good but the main reason I didn't rate it higher was the manner in which many of the gals were on autopilot instead of giving their best performances (I've seen several this week and they really shined). Overall, I haven't watched any of the other volumes in this series but I hear good things from some credible sources so perhaps something else was going on that inhibited the work of the cast this one time.
