Extra's: The best extra for me was the 7 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Fabian. It showed the cast and crew playing around and even the director trying to get better performances out of the cast with extra cash. I would've enjoyed more showering by the gals but it was still pretty well done if too short. There were also some short interviews although I expected Hannah to say something about not being renewed for her contract (the writing was on the wall even then from what I hear). The other extras included the double sided DVD cover, a few photogalleries, some trailers, a pop shot recap, and some spam for those who care.

Audio/Video Quality: Blonde Factory was presented in anamorphic widescreen with an aspect ratio of 1.85:1 as shot by director DCypher for Sin City. It looked decent enough with accurate fleshtones and little grain. The lighting was pretty good in most cases and that helped make the movie look as good as it did, though no one will suggest the shadows and other visual flaws couldn't have been even better with more care. The composition of the shots wasn't always enhancing to the gals but some measure of care was taken most of the time. I saw no compression artifacts and little video noise here too. The stereo audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital and wasn't bad sounding by most porn standards though the music was generic (thankfully, it was also low level and not too loud).

Body of Review: Sin City is currently a company in the midst of change having excised itself of some contract employees lately and acting as if it were ready to try something new. During the transition phase, a number of movies shot previously are being shipped out, some of them pretty good and others fair at best. I didn't want to let anything slip through the cracks so I picked up Blonde Factory to review last week and the results were decidedly mixed. The covergal was the talented Tyler Faith instead of contract performer Hannah Harper. Perhaps someone thought they'd promoted her enough over the life of their deal and it was time to move on but Tyler's always a good pick for a cover. The movie was an industry standard; it revolved around a company that makes sexy androids who "live" only to serve the sexual needs of their owners. Hannah Harper was the lead android and she was in for some repairs. In general, the plot served to further the sex and wasn't anything special. Here's a look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that it was a pretty basic movie in all ways:

Scene One: Hannah Harper, looking like a cross between a Geisha and Priss from Blade Runner, was up first in a scene that started during the opening credits with Talon. Now that she's no longer a contract performer for Sin City, I was wondering if she'd act more into the sex and I think she did here as she blew him with some measure of gusto reserved for the hungry. She deep throated him and rode his cock deep in her ass, showing that her extra weight worked for her better than most. He dropped his load into her mouth at the end of the scene and it wasn't a bad start to the movie.

Scene Two: Nikki Hunter, Julie Robbins, Ciera Sage, Ric Masters, James Deen, and Alec Knight, were up next in an orgy scene at the factory. The gals were getting their test run and initially were all lined up with their partners in what looked like a standard living room furniture set (love seat and chair). It wasn't a bad scene as the gals knew how to suck like crazy; using the energetic approach rather than a sultry style some of you prefer. Scene Four: Tyler Faith, the hotty on the front DVD cover, was up next although I thought a better picture of her would've made more sense. Scene Five: Hannah Harper, still looking very attractive (more than she did in the opening scene), showed that she still had what it took after having her memory wiped clean by Chris Cannon's technician. The technical qualities were decent, the sex okay if nothing special, and the extras added a little bit of value. This one won't be competing for feature of the week (never mind awards for the year) but you could do worse than checking it out if you're a fan of the cast too. I hope that whatever steps Sin City is going to take to improve their movies includes better extras, gals that really throw themselves into the sex scenes, and some better stories if the need for making a feature flick arises but as with many of their other movies; it wasn't the worst way you could spent a few hours.
