Extra's: I liked the 11.5 minute long Behind the Scenes extra the most since it had a lot of nudity and the gals rambling on in some unknown tongue. They looked good and seeing more of them was a nice way to spend a few minutes. This was followed by a 10 minute section called "masturbations" although it started off with a short lesbian scene before any actual masturbation took place. There was then a nice 15.5 minute long photoshoot with most of the gals getting some screen time, 12 minutes of interviews, a slide show, some trailers, some spam, and a chapter menu that allowed direct access to the women. I was surprised by the extras given that most Hustler releases are lacking in them these days (good work here though!).

Audio/Video Quality: Riding The Curves 2 was presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Denis Marti for release by Hustler. The focus was a bit off much of the time for some reason but the fleshtones were only slightly washed out. There was also some pattern noise whenever fishnet stockings appeared onscreen but aside from some flaws in the picture, I thought Denis showed some potential in terms of the composition of his shots and the fact that the DVD was anamorphically enhanced (with no compression artifacts). The 2.0 Dolby Digital encoded audio track appeared to be a generic monaural track that was processed in stereo but I could hear the moans and groans with the music kept fairly low here so I'm not complaining.

Body of Review: A lot of foreign porn makes our domestic material look great by comparison. After all, the sexual mores tend to be more liberal overseas and the budgets tend to be lower much like in mainstream productions. That said, there is also a lot of decent porn made such as Riding The Curves 2, the second in the series that started with Riding The Curves 1. Director Denis Marti made no pretensions about offering up cool sets, extravagant outfits or anything else; preferring to use the budget on the women to get the best available for the movie. That gave it a generic look at times and the technical matters didn't help any though the sex itself was often good. Here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were employed here:

Scene One: Tiffany Hopkins, a skinny brunette with pretty eyes, was up first as she teased Denis Marti on the couch of his study at home. She popped out her anal "tail" and then blew him with practiced ease before riding his cock in her tight pussy. This lasted until it was time for some anal screwing, something she did fairly well as her fleshy cheeks appeared to be used to wrapping around a penis but the way she pumped up and down on him. It ended with a facial that she took to her mouth and chin more than anything, making it a solid scene in terms of chemistry and passion.

Scene Two: Kathy Anderson, a beautiful blonde wearing white lingerie as seen (partially) on the left hand side of the front DVD cover, and brunette Claudia Adams dressed in red lingerie showcased on the upper middle of the cover, were up next in a playful little scene that started out with some lesbian playing before Kid Jamaica and Joachim Kessef joined them. For those who don't know about these men; suffice it to say that they were endowed with large members and the gals took right to sucking them off as best they could before some powerful boning on a raggedy old couch. Kathy's ass looked particularly fantastic as she rode her partner, both in vaginal and anal but Claudia wasn't bad either; especially when she did some DP work here. Kathy was no slacker either and the scene bounced around handily as the quartet swapped partners and loads all the way to the great ending.

Scene Three: Susie Diamond, the brunette on the right hand side of the front DVD cover, was up next as she enticed Denis Marti who was sitting on the couch waiting for her with her lean, all natural figure. I prefer more meat on the bones than this but she looked pretty good nonetheless. He ate her out and she returned the favor before they started screwing. This scene seemed a lot more mechanical than the others with her limits obviously pushed sooner than the others. They did the usual oral, vaginal, anal, and pop shot to the face but it really was a weak scene compared to the others.

Scene Four: Liliane Tiger, has long been associated with hot scenes and her body stocking sure didn't hurt as she dominated Ian Scott who was sitting at his bedroom desk. I could've used more bump & grind tease incorporated into the scene but she took to the oral like a fish to water and worked him up quite a bit before they screwed like a coupe in heat. As one of the most sexually aggressive gals in the show, she rode him with a passion reserved only for those into the sex or at least very talented in terms of acting skill and this added to the heat of the scene. She lowered the heat a bit when screwing anally but managed to take the anal creampie well enough here. It was a well done scene for the most part and she looked great!

Scene Five: Jane Darling, a fit gal with long light brown hair, was up last with Denis Marti after he brought her a box full of sex toys. She started using them and he came back to assist her since he's such a gentleman, showing her deep throating skill for all the world to see. Her fishnet body stocking sure didn't hurt the way she looked although the pattern noise it spawned bothered my eyes a little bit. Sexually, she followed the general formula with oral, vaginal, and anal before the pop shot but she did show some energy and heat that proved she hadn't lost her touch from her days as a Private contract gal. It wasn't the best scene but it was a decent way to close out the movie.

Summary: Riding The Curves 2 was a toss up for me in terms of the rating since the great sex was hampered by the mixed production values so I erred on the side of caution and gave it a Recommended due largely to the fact that it had such a plentiful bounty of extras going for it. The women looked great and the sex was well handled but the image quality came off as blurry (I checked against another movie to make sure I wasn't going blind and that the screen wasn't failing). In that sense, you can adjust the rating according to how much emphasis you place on the factors but don't fret much because I think Denis tried to do a good job here and something happened that he should be able to correct in the future.
