Extra's: The DVD had no extras other than a few trailers, a double sided DVD cover, and some spam. Heck, it didn't even have the listed photogallery included, making me wonder what went wrong and if the release were strictly used to fulfill a contract.

Audio/Video Quality: Home Schooled 3 was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by director Britney Foster for distribution by Metro Interactive's FusXion line. To be frank about it, the lighting and camera work were okay but nothing worthy of the many great FusXion titles I've watched and the composition of the shots left much to be desired. There was some grain and video noise but the lack of chemistry between the performers in most scenes was what really killed it for me. The fleshtones changed in the scenes too with some scenes looking more flatly lit and others looking more saturated, but at least there were no compression artifacts observed. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English with a generic (sometimes holiday themed) musical score. There was no separation that I could detect using headphones and the dynamic range was low end all the way. Metro have made some really fine porn in recent years but this wasn't one of them.

Body of Review: It was over a year ago that renowned Asian porn expert Rob Randall pointed out the limitations of Home Schooled 1 by Metro contract director Britney Foster. Having just watched the third in the series, Home Schooled 3, I could tell that Britney wasn't paying attention to his suggestions since it too seemed weaker than average for Metro's line of heated gonzo work. The show is a lesbian themed presentation where women who are supposedly away at school have sex with one another. Since the premise was discarded virtually completely, I was curious as to the reasoning behind the theme (especially as it was so poorly used here). That said, rather than spend a lot of time and energy beating up on the movie's many limitations, here's a glimpse into the scenes, a few of which weren't bad:

Scene One: Jassie, Sandra Romain, and Kat, the three gals on the front DVD cover, were up first as they pulled out their favorite sex toys (excluding me of course) for a lesbian scene in their dorm room. Each brought something different to the scene; Sandra brought experience, Kat brought her youth, and Jassie had that sexy look so many fans appreciate but the end result was something a bit tamer than any of them have provided in the past. Kat and Sandra have been the darlings of the gonzo circuit, showing no limits on what they'll do to get off and Jassie simply looks like the type of coed hotty you'd buy drinks for all night in hopes of a date (that would likely never happen). They used the toys vaginally and anally but the scene gave me the impression that they were mechanically going through the motions instead of truly enjoying what they were doing. In all then, it was a scene that slavering fanboys of the trio will like more than the rest of us.

Scene Two: Dillan Lauren, a major hotty wearing a white fishnet top and tiny plaid skirt, Amber Peach, and Stephanie Trip, were up next as Christmas music played in the background of their amazingly similar dorm room. In terms of looks, Dillan was easily the best of the trio and she often seemed to be the focal point of the action (including the vibrator up her sweet little ass) but the gals seemed to be distracted here even more than last time, either wanting a real cock or not wanting to be where they were, depending on what dynamic you look at. I thought it was appealing for Dillan's presence alone but the strokability factor was limited throughout the scene for me. The oral was standoffish and the toy use almost as if working them by the book so keep this in mind if you're a fan of the ladies.

Scene Three: McKayla, a lean brunette with a sultry face, and blonde cutie Stacy Thorn, were up next as they played beside the bunk beds with a large white vibrator. McKayla was in charge initially and she force fed the toy to her partner but each tore off their clothes and called each other names as they teased the camera (and each other). This scene was better than the previous two because it always seemed like they wanted to be there and were into the action. That's a major problem with lesbian scenes; too many gals are "gay for pay" and it often shows up onscreen. These two turned that idea around by enjoying the taste of each other, using the toys to get off, and providing some chemistry with their heated antics. It ended with some mutual masturbation that they both got off to. Yum!

Scene Four: Melissa Lauren, a brunette that has long reminded me of Sandra Romain for her general look, was up next with busty blonde Naudia Hilton on a couch. Each was attractive and while I didn't like Naudia's implants, I sensed that while they weren't as into the action as the last two gals, they were still having some fun. The oral and toy use didn't vary much in general terms but they worked each other over well enough to get a passing grade from me here, making it two decent (if not great) scenes to even out the initial, far lamer scenes the movie started with.

Scene Five: Kelly Wells, another darling of the gonzo crowd, and girl next door (maybe stripper next door) Kylie Worthy, were up last while the festive holiday music played. Neither gal is known for her looks so much as sexual skill (especially Kelly) but Kelly gave her partner lessons and the two got on well enough on the beat up old couch. The sex was another mechanical scene with the usual lesbian tricks offered up and large gaping asshole action provided by the gonzo queen. I'm sure if either had been with a guy the scene would've worked far better but it simply didn't work well enough here to elevate the rating of the movie for me.

Summary: Home Schooled 3 was a movie that had a decent cast, a lot of footage and virtually no extras. Since there was no behind the scenes material, I felt reasonably confident that Ms. Foster had little to do with the movie (based on what a former director for the company told me) but whomever was in charge needs to take a step back, find gals wanting to work with gals (not just for the money), and let them go off and do whatever really gets them off instead of sticking to a formula. I'm going to give the movie a rating of Rent It due to the two good scenes but unless you're a fan of the cast, you'll want to evaluate the action independent of my assessment since I am known to like lesbian action more than most reviewers (after all, I'm a lesbian trapped in a man's body, right?). Give it a look if you're in the market for a lesbian porno but don't expect a whole lot.
