Extra's: The best extra was easily the 14 minute long Behind the Scenes feature since it had the cast providing interviews, extra sex, and some cute anecdotes. This surpassed the trailers and slide show by a large margin with an interesting double sided DVD cover for those wanting more of Vanessa Lane in action.

Audio/Video Quality: Evil Bitches was presented in the original 1.85:1 ratio non-anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Damien Rossi for Nectar Entertainment. The lighting was kept to lower levels for a stylish look that I tend to refer to as a "vamp" look where the fleshtones looked slightly oversaturated but appealing nonetheless. I saw little grain though and the composition of the shots was actually better than average in most cases. The editing was similar to many music videos, trying to match up to the tempo of the sex in any given moment, and while I tend to prefer static shots, it was a nice change of pace for me to enjoy. There were no compression artifacts or video noise so the overall visual presentation was a positive experience that added to the replay value. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English stereo with a bit of separation between the musical material but none in the vocals. My biggest complaint about the audio was that some of the music was mixed in too loudly and this distracted from some of the tease sequences; making me wish for a separate track with lowered volume on the music.

Body of Review: I haven't seen a lot of movies from Nectar Entertainment of late, leading me to think they either cut back on production or cut back on sending screeners, but they've been noteworthy for trying to provide something different from the majority of porn producers these days. Rather than go strictly for the circus act sex of the gonzo world, they employ stylish visuals and an often keen selection of performers to their movies that gives them substantial replay value as often as not. Their latest release is Evil Bitches, a vignette release with some truly inspiring scenes of hotties giving it up with some attitude. Here's a quick look at the scenes for those so inclined to read them but note that there were no condoms employed and the cast was often at their best:

Scene One: Taylor Rain, the lean brunette that has recently announced her retirement from performing in porn, was made up in vampish fashion as she teased the camera in her undies in a fancy house, settling in on the dining room table. Her partner was Anthony Hardwood and she began by blowing him in her usual energetic fashion as he lay back on the table to appreciate her ministrations. Scene Four: Cherokee, one of the most overlooked hotties in porn, is known for her tight muscular body as much as her high pitched voice and sexual appeal. Scene Five: Alexis Malone, a lean blonde with an all natural body, was up next in a scene where she teased the camera like the others in darkened make up before partnering up with Reno on a table (like the kind masseuses use). The same could be said for her gothic make up although I think she'd look just fine without a lot of it too. She also seemed to be in rare form during the tease and settled in on Kris Knight's face as she rode his tongue on the floor to start the sex. This led to her oral being even more expressive than usual as she teased him, pleased him, and took over his manhood to nearly cause him to pop early. She then jumped his bones vaginally and rode him in several sweaty positions before the facial. This was another energetic, chemistry filled, and passionate scenes, rivaling Cherokee's in terms of overall competence (though the technical factors were a decidedly acquired taste). Yum!

Summary: Evil Bitches had some awe inspiring scenes, particularly Cherokee's, Vanessa's, and too a lesser extent, Taylor's, that made it well worth a rating of Recommended. I was a little put off by the minimal use of Texas Presley in only a solo scene and the short length of the flick but the BTS feature was fun to watch and the technical values were above average so it balanced out in large part. One more scene as hot as average for the movie would've elevated it to the next level, perhaps the use of Texas in such a scene would've been wise but make no mistake about it; the movie was a lot of fun with some significant replay value. Overall, I though Nectar Entertainment made a nice comeback with Evil Bitches and I hope to see more movies from them that work as well although the make up (by the lovely Flick Shagwell too) could be toned down a bit for better effect.
