Extra's: There were some good extras here, as expected from a Red Light District production. They started out with an 18 minute long Behind the Scenes feature where the gals combined photoshoot material, short anecdotes, and some nudity (the voices changed from time to time with Tim Von Swine being one of them working the camera). There was also a 12 minute solo tease and masturbation scene by Autumn Westin, 5 minutes of scenes where some of the women showered (soaping themselves up nicely), 6.5 minute long feature "Jizz on the Jugs" that amounted to a pop shot compilation although little jizz landed on any of the jugs since the women were actively swallowing at the time, photogallery, and double sided DVD cover.

Audio/Video Quality: Young Ripe Mellons 8 was presented in the same non-anamorphic widescreen director Vince Vouyer shot it in for Red Light District. The aspect ratio looked to be 1.85:1 and it was a pleasant change from the usual fool frame so popular in porn. The lighting was better than average and the scenes were shot in the Red Light District building, typically in the warehouse some of you aspire to work in. There were no video noise or compression artifacts and the composition of the scenes was virtually always favorable to the performers. There was the usual light watermark in the lower right hand corner but it wasn't all that noticeable to me (the action on the screen was nearly always centered or substantially far away from the watermark, perhaps on purpose). The camerawork was a little jittery at times with Vince trying to get as much breast footage as possible but I think it was balanced out nicely and gave the scenes some fresh appeal. The 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo English was about the same as always though I could hear the performers nicely in most cases.

Body of Review: Vince Vouyer has long been a staple in porn and his role in making Red Light District a powerhouse of gonzo porn should not be underestimated. This is not to say he did it all alone but he certainly assisted in that regard more than most and his recent announcement of a departure is met with mixed feelings on my part. I've heard all the rumors and appreciate that sometimes people grow out of their positions at companies so I wish him well wherever he ends up. One of his last releases for Red Light District is Young Ripe Mellons 8, the series that I last reviewed far too long ago with Young Ripe Mellons 4. The concept is simple; Vince puts a number of scenes together that use women with large breasts to sexually please a variety of men. This edition was slightly enhanced in that it had the women swallowing the orgasms as well as provide the usual breast tease and other gonzo tricks. If that sounds good to you, you're going to really appreciate the show so here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast and actions, noting that I knew all but a couple of the secondary male performers:

Scene One: Texas Presley, the Texan hotty with lots of tattoos and a 36DD rack in her 7th scene, Tiffany Taylor, a more classic beauty with bright eyes and 32C breasts, were up first in a scene with Steve French after some interview footage (and minor tease). Texas was the more sexually aggressive of the two though and after some breast play, she was sucking his dick like a champ. The rough edges aside, the ladies were typically on fire sexually and I thought the amount of swallowing action rivaled all but the most extreme oral release (noting that Brandon Iron, David Luger, and others at RLD/PXP make some excellent swallowing videos too). If you hate hardcore sexual antics, large natural breasts, and skilled performers, pass it up but all others will want a copy for their own given the replay and stroke value this DVD had.
