Extra's: For me, the best extra was the 23 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Dic Tracy (who looks like he's lost a lot of weight in recent times). Not all of the gals got the same amount of screen time and there was some sex going on but it could've been pared down to half the time and I wouldn't have missed anything substantial. The bonus scene was from the movie Dirty Girlz 1 and it was a lesbian scene between Monique Alexander, Domino, and Haley Paige in a 24.5 minute long kitchen scene. The gals were kicking but I still prefer content made exclusively for the movie since I get so many these days that scenes from other flicks are often already part of my collection. There were also some trailers and a photogallery but that was it.

Audio/Video Quality: Fleshbacks was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as originally shot by director Roy Karch for Adam & Eve. It was a basic shoot with decent lighting most of the time that limited the grain and other visual flaws. The composition of the shots wasn't always favorable to the look of the ladies but in fairness to Roy, he didn't have a lot to work with in terms of the cast (with one notable exception). There were no compression artifacts though so at least the DVD mastering process didn't add to the woes of the production and most people would consider it fairly well made for a low budget release. The audio was presented in a basic 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo that made little use of separation and the quality of the DVD format but I could hear the vocals and the music was only sort of lame this time.

Body of Review: Getting to watch a lot of porn is the main perk of reviewing at a website like DVD Talk but there are pitfalls to the process too. For every great title I get to check out, there are usually several that never even make it to a full review write up. That said, the latest movie from Adam & Eve I saw was Fleshbacks, a minimal story told in terms of flashbacks to sex scenes as a group of extremely old people reminisced about their former glory days in sexual encounters. The old fogies weren't identified but suffice it to say, they looked older than Yoda (and about as sexually attractive). Thankfully, the younger actors portraying them weren't typically quite so nasty, although this was not always the case. That said, here's a look at the scenes by action and cast, noting that no condoms were used in the movie:

Scene One: Destiny DeVille, an exotic looking gal from England barely wearing an orange dress, was up first as she seduced bartender Trent Tesoro into closing the bar for some fun. She could stand to work out a bit but he didn't appear to mind as he set his sights on her ample breasts and fleshy ass (or arse as she called it). The sex itself was mechanical but her dirty talk and oral skills weren't bad. He ate her out in return but her over the top vocals got old by this point and I wanted him to just slam his rod back down her throat to shut her up. They screwed in her pussy and she spit out any semen that dared enter her mouth but it wasn't a terrible scene; it just lacked replay value.

Scene Two: Roxetta, a redhead with a stripper's body and a face you'd have to see to believe (see how diplomatic I can be?!?), was up next in the lingerie store with Jim Beam. In all fairness, they looked like a couple since he was dorky and she had seen better days but the two went to working on each other right out in the open store; doing oral and vaginal sex like old pals. This scene was worse than the last due to the way they seemed to be on the clock but fans of the couple might disagree and actually like the action for some unknown reason.

Scene Three: Brooklyn, the rough and tattooed gal on the front DVD cover, was up next as she stripped for partner Chris Cannon in a dark and dingy club. The pole from the club didn't get nearly as much of a workout as his shaft did since she threw off her clothes to begin inhaling his meaty shaft in her mouth. I liked how playful she was with the dick in her mouth and fans of gothic looking gals will no doubt appreciate her act more than I did but for me, it was the first true glimmer of hope in the movie's sexual identity. I was especially happy that the lights were turned up for the sex this time since the grain would've otherwise made it a passable scene rather than a heated little romp between the two. She was as active as he was in the screwing and her sheer attitude made the scene a highlight of the movie. Like the other scenes, it ended when he rubbed out a load onto her face and mouth.

Scene Four: Angela Stone, an all natural butterface if ever one existed in porn, was up next with Tyler Durden (used to be Tyler Woods) in a jail cell scene that looked improvised out of a warehouse storeroom. I liked her lingerie but her performance left something to be desired and the "squirting" looked as much like her taking a piss as anything I've seen in recent months. The sex included anal this time but she seemed to be unhappy with the whole proceeding and wanting out if at all possible. That killed it for me.

Scene Five: Eva Angelina, easily the most appealing gal in the movie in terms of looks and sexual desirability even though she had to work with Tony Tedeschi. Her flower child outfit was appealing too as it hugged her curves nicely and only her implants limited her sex appeal in my book. The scene itself took place in a bedroom where the two sucked and fucked (vaginally) in several positions. His frog-belly white skin contrasted a lot with her nicely tanned body and the ending pop shot on her face, while miniscule, didn't make her wince like most of the other ladies.

Summary: Fleshbacks was one of those generic movies made on a limited budget in a short amount of time in order to (probably) satisfy some contractual fulfillment. In that sense, it was exactly what one would expect and therefore earned a rating of Skip It unless you're a big fan of the performers. Granted, Eva looked pretty good and her scene, marred by her partner though it was, rocked compared to the others in most ways but you can find plenty of better movies at Adam & Eve to act as stroke material if that's your goal (and if it's not, I'd wonder what your doing with a porno anyway). Roy has made better flicks in the past and if you must get this one, keep in mind my warnings since it really wasn't all that appealing most of the time.
